  1. Crap ola.... I will have er in tomorrow night after work so we can advance on Saturday at the latest.
  2. Oh I read it as it being your team. I take it they ran you over in a prior meeting?
  3. Quit trying to kill my joyous occasion will ya? lol, I will share the love and just say that I run a pro style offense that leans a bit towards west coast, but very little 3 wide type stuff, but rather pro sets and 2 TE type stuff. We got a long way before our meeting so I got me some time to work on my crappy tackling ability... or maybe not...
  4. I haven't had a huge issue with the sliders. Just maybe broken tackles by the CPU, but nothing that I see should be changed on my end. On that note UL Lafayette picked up it's 1st win in the 2010 season by beating rival, Mid Tennessee St. by a score of 31-13. It was the 1st time the Ragin Cajuns scored more than 7 points in a game and looks to carry their momentum going into Texas to take on the Mean Green.
  5. Your going to sim mine. My procrastination bit me in the ass and couldn't get ti played. Last time I will be late with it.
  6. It should automaticly be set on for the CPU to do that, but there is an option somewhere to turn it on or off in the dynasty. You may want to find that and make sure that they are set to on.
  7. I didn't? I accepted and did my red shirts and stuff a couple days ago. In my other one it automatically turns the light on. So sorry. You can advance if you get on before I do to see whats up.
  8. Oh, you haven't accepted the friend invitation that's why. try again ==================== Oldskool Name is: EWB That would be why I didn't get one lol... Ok
  9. I was selected as a beta tester and like many, many testers for the PC we have had compatibility issues preventing us from playing the beta. It's been that way for a few months now and SE has not acknowledged that a problem exists so... I have a computer that is 9 days old... The PC version don't look like a September release if you ask me and if it does it won't be 100% ready.
  10. PSN Name: Sacrafice540 Team Rules of Choice: Prefer any team, but 1* is perfectly fine with me. Timeline of Choice (to complete recruiting/game): At least 3-4 days per advance. Longer is fine.
  11. Yeah, we are talking about the same guy from gamingtailgate. I was just trying to shamelessly plug him if no one knew about them. If you will have me I would like to join.
  12. I would like to join if you need a guy! I can't believe Wisconsin is a "A" rated team and not open to be picked. I guess it does snow in hell and pigs do fly every once in a while. Is this with stock out of the box rosters or updated ones? I know a guy that runs the only other OD I am in that updates the rosters if you don't have a plan with rosters. Edit: Check that. It's IronDragonU and there has been talk in the other thread about his rosters.
  13. Sounds familiar. So yeah, you can't use them 1st turn which is what I remembered about them.
  14. lol... The only deck I got made up is a Sliver deck made ending with Invasion which at the time was current enough to be tourney legal. Invasion I think it was had a nice set of Dual Lands that I think only had to sit a turn before you could use them or something to that effect so it wasn't 1st turn damage, but 2nd turn it was on. I got to the point at the end when everyone was quitting I put that together and just beat the crap out of everyone in short time. I said enough is enough and if we are going out then I am going to kick some ass and quickly.
  15. I would say 20 of them give or take. I have at least 1 of each I think. I may be missing one or two, but I am pretty sure I have 4 G&W and 4 G&B because Green was my main color with White and Black 2nd. They are all Revised aswell so no super expensive ones :'(. It's been 7 years or so since I even looked through them. I open up the boxes every now and then to make sure the cards stay in the quality they are in and not getting damaged at all. I kind of wish I could play the game. Maybe I will teach the wife how to play lol. Back then I was so much more powerful than all of my friends that when we got a huge game going they would all build up, then gang up on me to take me out then I would be sitting there for 2 hours watching cuz if they didn't I could pick them off pretty good. We had a house rule of no strait up 1st turn attack or early game attacking. We allowed each player to get set up which for the most part made for some intense games.
  16. I started with 4th edition & Ice Age and ended around Invasion with nearly every card of the same name totaling 4 of each except Legend cards that I only kept 2 of. So say the card "Counter" I had 1 from each set it was made from and so on. I only have 2 full complete sets which are Fallen Empires and Alliance. Ice Age and Mirage I think I am only missing 2 or 3 of. I was able to snag many of the cards from Unlimited through to when I started (Dark, Legends and such). My set of cards was worth $10,000 price guide value in 2001. I wanted 3000 back then because that was approximately what I put into it. My biggest offer was a laughable 300-400 bucks so I am still sitting on them. Hell I could sell my set of dual lands for at least 400 bucks right now. I don't want to part my set out, but it looks like i am going to have to which blows ass...
  17. Adding to the RBN thing It has been noted that only the popular songs (most downloaded) are going to ported over to the PS3 so there won't be nearly the same amount, but anything is better than nothing I guess.
  18. I had the ones for the consoles. A buddy and I spent about 3 months on the PS1 version. We had the whole opening scene (About 15 minutes) the 1st town and the 1st dungeon figured out, but not complete. We must have spent a week learning how just to have 1 towns folk NPC tell you one thing, then come back and tell another thing and so on. It was one of those you had to talk to it several times from different directions to get what you really wanted out of it. Ahh the fun, yet so very annoying ways they made 16 bit RPG's hard. I would love to continue to work on it, but it's so time consuming and I have forgotten everything about the game so I would have to relearn it all over again.
  19. We went through that argument a year ago and agreed to disagree. Yeah there is times you need to play for 4-6 hours to really get some shit done, but you don't have to. It just goes a hell of a lot slower if you don't throw a day in there like that every now and then. If you like the game enough you are going to play it that long. Has anyone ever played VII for an extended period of time? Yeah, but not daily like most people do when they play XI. I used to play 3-6 hours 3-4 days every week, but I am lucky to get 5 hours in a week now and still enjoy the game very much. I totally agree with you that most people take this game way too far! Thats not to say that you have to play that much to truly enjoy the game or that the game sucks! It's just that there is soo much that this game has to offer and if you approach it with a level head you will get many, many awesome hours out of it. Just my opinion! And now that the game is been out for so long they are working to make the game more time friendly. Thats not to say that it's not still going to require a lot of time to get places, but it will be a little easier. Like I said those 13 hour fights are for the people that have the best of everything and want a huge frustrating challenge. Not for most players that actually play the game.
  20. I don't know why you would have problems with FFXI as it's dumbed down to play on PS2 and the PC version is the same thing. As far as those 12+ hour creatures you will have to play the game every day for 12 hours to even get far enough into the game in 9 months time to consider playing that end game stuff. Which is totally not required and only if you want the best of the best weapons and gear that ain't that good to warrant that kind of time compared to the crap you can get normally. I have played the game for 4 years now and only level 55 of the possible 75 max level. There is more stuff to do that you will be consumed granted you get to level 30 where most of the stuff is open to you. Even though you don't have to do 12 hour fights only playing for a hour or two is not really that worth while. I mean it is, but it isin't. You can get away with it, but 4-6 hour level grinds should be required at some point. In other words like most say it is a total time sink and a quite frustratingly hard game. Too freaking addicting for me to quit though!
  21. You my friend know racing games!!! This game blows racing games away 1000x though I don't consider this a game I consider it a simulation. It's soooo much more than a game! (ok that sounds stupid, but meh) I still run leagues more than I should lol... My top 10! 1. Nascar Racing 2003 Season - As stated above. Over 20 different types of cars over 500 different authentic tracks. Open wheels, Dirt, 1955's, Trucks & Trans Am's just to name a few. 2. Final Fantasy XI - Most will disagree, but it's a solo RPG that ate too much McDonalds. More content than any one person will ever complete. Dumb people? Don't hang out with them. You wouldn't in real life right? 3. MLB 08: The Show - Took the best baseball game (MVP 05) and added all the little things that make a baseball game great! 4. Guitarooman - The reason a payed so much for a 1st generation PS2. In my opinion this was the game that paved the way for games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Man this game was so addicting! 5. Tecmo Super Bowl - Really? Do I need to explain? The game that started it all! Online leagues still going strong! 6. SmackDown! Vs. Raw 2006 - Over 400 different wrestlers and a make your own career mode in exhibition with the game play still in tact. Last one I will buy for a long, long time! 7. Rock Band - To finally have a game that my Wife and friends can play with me is pretty sweet. Especially since they are pretty good at it makes it all the more fun. 8. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past This one? The original? I own all of them, but I never got around to play the last three and I only got half way through Ocarnia of Time, That one could have been here too. First game I owned on the SNES and was the 2nd most played outside of FFIV. 9. Grand Tourismo 2 - Did a PS1 game really have this much content? The gamplay was flawless, the different types of cars and tracks made this the first awesome console racing game! 10. Dragon Warrior I - I have to give credit to the first RPG I ever played. DWIII was the best one, but three times my best friend and I played this game all the way through in one sitting to see who could finish it first. We did the same with Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy I too, but this one took so long and looking back was so bad (level grind at it's worst) I can't believe we did it in one shot, much less three times! It's so hard to rank them, but thats my list. I'm weird, different, yeah I know. Put FFVII (200+ Hours) up there instead of The Show and those games by far are my most played ever in pretty close to that order. NR2003 I been playing non stop since 2003 and FFXI since 2004 so those get top spots hands down! Rest is give or take...
  22. How long are you going to be gone? The CPU does a good job recruiting. We will only probably be doing 2 games a weekish and it will be there when you get back. Of course if you gonna be gone three weeks or something then yeah probably too long :'(
  23. If you go on vacation and don't mind getting simmed while you are gone your more than welcome! I have the patch. Currently I do not have a roster file with all 119 named, but I will be getting the nice new roster file when I find one which I haven't looked for yet. I know where to get it from fumbling around though it's just a matter of actually getting it. It will be 6 minute quarters.
