The thing i hate with Be a Pro is i get quite bored after a while and start to skip games so i can never like progress after Captain lol with Liverpool got to Captain first season left for Inter and they decided hey lets play him on the wing which kinda sucked but still had a good season than thought lets go some utter crap team and be captain straight away and try to get to Legendary. At Elfsborg in Sweden lol

Seems i've made the right choice in getting this over Pro Evo according to my mate who got it and had a few games of it

yeah i remember signing him on FM07 when i was Liverpool manager and he was just great player and yeah read we were supposed to be linked with him. Easy to train to into different positions so could just train him to be CB good player to have imo

Started the 64 man team tournament done club tournament i was going to call THe Masters Cup but it would only let me write to The Masters Cu and who wants to be a Cu honestly so The Masters it is. Basically rip off the Champions League with 8 groups lol and top 4 qualify to next round

For some reason Liverpool always do crap on FM i mean in my Villa game that i haven't played for ages there floating around like 14th, 15th

In my old Liverpool/Valencia game i did after i won the Prem in my final season they finished like 12th with a really good team but they won the Champions League.

Always with Man.U too they don't really challenge but they end up like 3rd or 4th and Fergie will leave after a season or two than Javier Aguierre i can't spell his surname or remember it the Mexican always ended up becoming their manager

I thought that aswell it doesn't sometimes recognize the achievements

When first got it went to get the score with a defender so stuck a defender on pen didn't get it, Beat half star team against 5 star team didn't get it.

Also got a question about the Volley achievement. I was Torres and i got through the defence, hit a rainbow flick and on the volley hit it in to the net but it didn't recognize. I can't remember if it bounced or not but that'd be a half volley. Can you get the achievement doing a half volley

Signed up to that Fifaleague website now. Be interesting being in a league hopefully pick up a few wins

I was in the same boat with PES and Fifa. I hadn't touched a Fifa game in ages and now i'm really into it it's a good game, good looking as well and i like the 10 vs 10 games. Refs can be a bit silly like and the fact that sometimes it takes the players a year to get up if they ran into someone can be rather annoying but a great game.

Demo's normally have wrong squads though so they'll just do little fixes like getting correct players on teams before release. Even if they don't than they mentioned in an interview i think on IGN that there will be transfer updates

Wow that was harsh that on you Adam.

I hate injustice defeats it really winds you up. Prime example on a previous game was when i was Liverpool against Bayern and somehow missed chances by my team led to a penalty shootout and they didn't deserve to even be in a penalty shootout. My dominance over two legs, I think i limited them to like 5 shots over two games against my numerous shots...Blatent goals overturned because linesmen said it was offside that annoyed me...Champions League Semi Final and they beat me on pens.

Couldn't believe it felt like punching the monitor robbed of a Champions League final. Gutted

What is everyones bogey team on FM?

For some weird reason it would always end up being Man.City they'd somehow get a counter attack goal and just steal a victory from me

I always used to have one of my mates who always thought he could beat me but was absolutely horrendous. All i know is he's beaten me twice one of those being on pens.

The ole routine of doing like few step overs to wind him up, When he went to tackle knock it forward, feint shot to have his defenders off, slide across goal mouth, smash into the net. Never got tiring.

Yeah my mate always used to do the drag back trick and it'd annoy me as i'd always forget how to do it so just started to go heavy footed whenever he done it and just get on the attack lol

I hate Diving on it lol. One of the worst moments in my Pro Evo 2008 life was when my mate dived won a penalty 90th minute and scored to win...wasn't very happy at that moment in time as you'd expect. Another was when the computer dived against me bloody Robin Van Persie and than scored a whopper of a freekick cause of it.

Does anyone have any idea if a Demo will be coming out soon what with the game being released in 3 weeks time?

The game was great offline it was just online that ruined it. When i'd go round my mates house and have a few games we'd have good matches but there would be the odd goalkeeper f*ck up on it.

Online though as everyone surely knows was horrendous.

If those two problems are solved for 09 than it'll be a great game. Be a Legend now yes it is just a blatent rip off of Be a Pro lol but it could work on PES as it has better gameplay than Fifa.

i think i'm not 100% correct that the finances would be done after 1st of July. It's normally around the time when the game recognizes that a new season begins so you'll get your fixtures list,TV money for the previous season etc etc. It's around the start of July

I still dunno what to make of this 6 character storylines. I mean yeah there character individual and so you got 6 different storylines which it's self is a positive...But the thing is maybe i don't want to go CM Punk, Taker, Jericho, Cena, HHH or Batista/Rey Mysterio tag team i think the 6th one was.

I'm curious as to what the Mystery mode is as i hope that it will be like a season mode for normal characters.

I used to always get the Smackdown games around the time they came out but can't get excited this year after putting up with no vast major improvement in the past games i mean WHOPPEEE Jimmy Yang will be in the game and the Inferno match just doesn't look that amazing.

Probably just trade in some old games and maybe get this but otherwise looks like COD 5, Pro Evo 2009, Saints Row 2 and Gears of War 2 are the games for me to get for my Birthday and Christmas maybe add Fable 2 and Fifa 09

LT button on the Xbox 360 is the button to use to add or remove people from the wall and the Analog stick or direction buttons

That's happened to me before.

Another annoying thing is once the ball froze on my goal line and none of my players could move and the Goalkeeper couldn't kick it so my opponent just ran over and tapped it in. Really annoying...

Most of those achievements are the same as the last one...Not really arsed like as i didn't really try and achievement hunt on Pro Evo.

Still looks a good game hopefully more details will be out soon along with a demo

The keepers were terrible...There'd be some stupid laggy thing that would fuck me up in a match. Keepers cost me my unbeaten streak of like 50 games against a mate that was terrible

Punching into nets, spilling catches, fumbling it, missing kicks...Just terrible.

But than again i ain't too impressed with Fifa although going to try the demo a few more times. I'll get Pro Evo defo it's just if i get Fifa as well. Ain't a big fan of shooting on it just can't get used to it it either has no power on or goes miles into the stands
