  1. That would "Virtual Bart" if I'm not mistaken.
  2. Chop battles? Heel meters? Real manager interfearance? Damn... I'm totally buying this game (even if HCTP killed my last PS2)
  3. Zany comedy version? Ugh... thanks alot... I'll pass on this one.

  5. My favorite has always been the old school HULK. Very fun character to read... unlike the later crappy versions of the Hulk.
  6. That's very sad to hear. Ray was a legend....
  7. Wow, great deal for $20. Narc, MK series, ARCH RIVALS! Pitfighter, Cyberball 2072, Rampage, Primal Rage! Can't wait for this one...
  8. Truly sad to see all the great performers passing on. RIP Tony
  9. I've always liked "99 Luftbaloons" by Nena. Simple yet effective. Random others I like: "Billie Jean"/"Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' " - Michael Jackson "Cars" by Gary Numan 'Rock Box" by RUN DMC "Running with the night" by Lionel Richie "Bark at the moon" by Ozzy Heck, nearly all of it's good. Just hope the GTA:SA soundtrack can match it.
  10. According that site, yes... "You need to eat to retain your stamina. If you eat too much fast food, you become fat and pedestrians mock you for being fat. You also run slower. To remedy this, you can go to a gym to exercise." And also one of the things I'm most happy about... SWIMMING!!! "There are] new things you can do such as swimming - a lot more detail and variety in the animation." Finally the bad ass gangstas don't drown in shallow water. Overall this is shaping up alot better than I ever thought it would...
  11. Lot of info from Game Informer is available at this site: http://www.gtagaming.com/sanandreas/gameinformer#level Including this pic that shows the consequences of overeating in the game: http://www.gtagaming.com/images/sanandreas...s/giscreen6.jpg Funny stuff...
  12. 6 times the size of Vice City? stamina meter? Group drive bys? Crap, that sounds amazing. Game keeps looking better and better... just hope you can actually swim this time.
  13. From Gamespot... the GTA:SA storyline: "[uPDATE] Early this morning, Rockstar released the first plot summary of GTA: SA, which confirmed its early 1990s millieu. Here it is verbatim: "Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas...a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers. Now, it's the early 90s. Carl's got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets." All the information released by Rockstar indicates that the controversial Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has not lost the rough-and-ready nature of its predecessors. GameSpot will have more details on this highly anticipated title--which is due in Q4 2004--as they become available" Sounds pretty cool actually... a nice change of pace for the Mob stuff in the last two.
  14. So have they officially dropped the mafia style guys in favor of urban gang members now? Anyway it's too early to judge but it's looking pretty good. Hopefully they have found a way to extend the replay value. Because GTA:VC got old in a few weeks mainly because it was so much like GTA3 and you found yourself saying "Been there, done that"
  15. This looks very promising. I just hope the gameplay can match the graphics.
