  1. I have to use a wire adapter for one of my wireless 360 controllers because I got frustrated with lagswitchers on Halo and slammed the back of it against my fist, but that's the furthest it's ever gone. I've yelled some morons over live before as well, but I'm not going to start breaking stuff over a game. I will get very annoyed and curse, but I keep it there.

  2. Sotiropolous is fighting Dennis Siver, which...eh. I want to see him in title contention, maybe after beating Siver he gets a shot at the Florian/Dunham, or Edgar/Maynard loser?

Everyone keeps saying this for some reason, but this fight is in title contention so the comments make no sense. White said directly after Siver's UFC 122 victory that his win put him into title contention.

  3. Anyone have any idea how reliable this MiddleEasy.com website is? They're reporting that Matt Mitrione could be heading to WWE within the next year.
I thought you had a direct line to Mr. MMA, the King of opinions and the High Deacon of saved MMA souls anyway?

A direct line to Biggz? :o

OMG~!!lol topix relevance ftw so funny jokez haha grow up.

Roy Nelson is apparently done with the UFC following a contract issue with Roy Jones Jr. from the hybid MMA/boxing event he participated in some time ago. Apparently, according to White, is that Jone Jr. basically owns Nelson and it's just coming to light.

  4. My boy from high school, Jesse Juarez, is fighting on HDNet tomorrow night. Card's in Canada, forget the name of the organization. Dude was on the wrestling team with me, and has always been a stand-up guy. Just had a kid too, so I wish him the best, and maybe some of you guys can check it out or whatever.

Surely it's not this guy, is it: http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Jesse-Juarez-22291 ?

If so then he's fighting for the MFC (Maximum Fighting Championship) 170lb title and is on quite a tear. I was reading up on him recently after coming across him while looking up some information on Mandingo whom he trains under.

  5. I just finished watching this and absolutely loved it. Having not read the novels I was a little "WTF" at first, but I enjoy different things like that. Absolutely brilliant all the way through. I will now force my 'too good for different'-esque friends to sit through this.

  6. I'll admit, I was always a bigger fan of Leno than Conan but when the entire NBC fiasco went down I really began getting into his material. Following over the Summer really made this first episode a must see for me and after watching it I'll be back for sure.

I enjoyed pretty much everything, especially the "that's what I left NBC" joke.

  7. This is actually going on a couple of months old, but I found it pretty hilarious. Seems like the interviewer really ticked off Griffin.

Didn't feel like another double post so, I'll just edit this in.

Random yet awesomely incoherent tweet from Wanderlei just now:

How want Wath me in the ultimater figther tx to my boss hi decided
  8. -Recently cut Gabe Gonzaga is talking about retirement. He has a video and a couple of tweets mentioning that he might became a full time trainer.

-In bigger news, Bellator is officially without a television deal for season 4. Rebney has been giving away his personally shares of the company to investors to avoid them pulling the plug on the promotion.

  9. To his credit, sometimes tone versus text does get a little mumbled. That said, even I can recognize that nothing to do with Cecil is ever to be taking seriously. Unless we're discussing his ignorance.

Powerhart, first rule of being a mixed martial arts fan on the internet: discredit Peoples at every given opportunity in the smarkiest way possible. Think of him as MMA's 2002/03 Triple H.
