  1. Arsenal's Arsene Wenger has confirmed Sylvain Wiltord is to leave Highbury on a free transfer in the summer.

The French international striker, 29, has been unable to agree terms on a new deal at Highbury and will be a free agent in June when his contract ends.

Wiltord has held talks with Werder Bremen, but no deal has been confirmed.

Bremen are confident Wiltord will sign and director of sport Klaus Allofs said: "There is a lot of interest in the move from both sides."

Wiltord became Arsenal's record signing when he joined for around £11m in 2000.

Meanwhile Wenger has still to resolve Nigerian international Kanu's future.

Arsenal's French manager said: "I haven't decided on Kanu and he hasn't decided yet.

"He is free to go where he wants as he is out of contract this summer and I have no final say to that."

  2. Two things I think are stupid here:

    1) If Chelsea want Lampard to stay, why not offer what he wants

    2) If Lampard loves the club as much as he says he does, why not stick with 40k a week, I mean yeh, lots are more paid. But what the FUCK is wrong with 40K A WEEK!!!! I would be happy with 2K a week.

And from what I saw in the paaper yesterday confirms the theory, the foreigners don't give a shit about the club, they are just there for the money. Look at Veron and Crespo. Ronaldo would be the same.

  3. All I am fed up of up is damn Mancunians wearing their blinkers and living in 1999 constantly. Whenever Arsenal do something incredible, they always come out with their 1999 remarks. Who cares? That was then, you have to realise you aren't the best anymore, there are TWO teams in this country who are better.

And I am sorry, bout the worst part is, they are the most blatant cheaters I have ever seen. I thought Italians were bad, but Man Utd can be just ridiculous.

And talking about crap teams in the league we beat? You lost to most of them, you can't say anything I Bleed Red. You lost to Pompey, Wolves (NEARLY twice), Boro and Fulham (3-1 at home might I add).

On another note, Arsenal have confirmed Wiltord and Keown are leaving in the summer.

No suprise about Wiltord really, I liked him, he was a good player, annoying to see him leave for free when he cost £13m. But never mind, I still think Kanu will leave, he never plays, he hardly ever gets on the bench, what chance will he have next year with van Persie there as well?

  4. Ronaldo with his usual diving, and usual kicking ball away for no reason.

Fletcher, same thing with kicking balla way, and then that POINTLESs disgraceful foul, there was no need, ball was long gone.

  5. Got back from the match a while ago,

    WHAT AN ATMOSPHERE!

Seriously, when Sol lifted the trophy the noise was deafining, and that pyro scared the shit out of me!!!

Great day for the club, a WHOLE season, the bragging right of ALL bragigng rights, Mancs go on about their treble, when was last time they went unbeaten? Wonderful day for the fans and players etc etc

  6. Yeh, we been having this discussion on MSN

Others I can think of are:

    Kleberson - Shit

    Crespo - Ain't proved anything

    Veron - Bit poo

Emerson Thome - Not great at all

emerson - Misfit, scored one stunning goal and that was it

Then there is Juninho mind you

  7. Darren Anderton, Christian Ziege and Gustavo Poyet have all been released by managerless Tottenham Hotspur.

Former England midfielder Anderton has been at the club for 12 years while German wing-back Ziege cost £4.5m from Liverpool in 2001.

Reserve teamers Lars Hirschfeld, Shwan Jalal and Danny Foster have also been released but skipper Jamie Redknapp has been handed a new one-year contract.

Chairman Daniel Levy paid tribute to Anderton after ending the player's 12-year career at White Hart Lane.

"We wish Darren well after no less than 12 years at the Club," he said.

"Gus and Christian have given the supporters much to cheer about during their stay too. We wish them luck for the future."

Saw on ITV text but hasn't been mentioned on SSN or skysports website yet.

Na nan na na na na na na hey hey heeey gooodbye!!!!

I see Anderton joining Norwich for some reason.

  8. Why are Mancs sdo convinced they will sign Rooney, Gerrard and van der Vaart? You won't get any, you'll just sign another average player like last summer:

    Kleberson

    Djemba-Djemba

    Saha

    etc

    etc

    :P

And Mancs are always boasting about all the money they have to spend, how much did we spend in the summer again?
