You've got two good songs on there, and one of them you're using "to laugh at". That CD is pretty brutal, there's no other way of looking at it.
-
You guys do realize those bands aren't all playing at all the shows right? Each location has a different set of bands.
Yeah, I had figured. Can't get that many bands in in one day. Fortunately, I've looked into it, and all the bands I want to see (save for Thursday) are playing Detroit, so I'm happy. Even without Thursday, it's still going to kick ass.

Nothing over $15, anything else and it's thievery.

Sounds pretty shitty, to be honest. No big surprises, and seemingly very little actually worth watching. I'll pass.
-
And when those guys finally wanna get paid, say hello to Detroit, New York, Colorado etc. unless the NHL FINALLY gets a good salary structure going.
Exactly. If the NHL can't get a good cap on their players, team like Detroit and Colorado are more than willing to snap up guys like Lecavalier, Richards, and St. Louis, who are more than willing to get paid more than Tampa Bay can offer them.
-
I never said I liked the NHL. If they had a set up like the NFL that replay would have been questioned from the booth and Canada would still be celebrating. Don't blame the Lightning for taking advantage of a gift. Blame the inept officials who didn't bother to check the goal two nights ago.
I don't hold a thing against Tampa, but the fact remains they lost fair and sqaure. I do blame the inept officials who fucked up, and this incident is indictive of some of the problems the NHL has and needs to fix.
-
Way to find blame everywhere but in Calgary's offensive "efforts" in the first two periods. Yes, they SHOULD have won the Cup in Game 6, but they didn't get it done tonight. One call didn't make them lose, it's not like Tampa Bay scored on the BS power play. It just reeks of sore losertude. Which I know from experience since Yankee fans do it every time they lose a series around here.
I'm not even a Calgary fan, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out they rightfully won that series. Typically, eliminating your opponent consitutes victory. Their offence sucked in the first two periods, but it shouldn't have even mattered beecause the series should have been over two days ago.
-
Congratulations Tampa Bay on your sham of a win. Make sure the game 6 ref gets all the blowjobs he's owed for that royal fuckup.
Give them some credit, but wait, I forgot. Theres a conspiracy against Canada and blah blah blahTampa was the better team
No conspiracy against Canada, just a bunch of retards with striped shirts and whistles on the ice. Admit that game 7 never should've happened and your team won on a fucking sham.
Tampa was not the better team by any strecth of the imagination. I wouldn't say being eliminated in Game 6 and having damn good luck makes you the better team.
EDIT: Fixed an error Sean pointed out.

Having respect for someone's opinion doesn't mean you have to agree with it. I like Cheery on HNIC because he puts a different spin on things. Half the time, I don't agree with him at all. He's entitled to his opinion, and in this case, I don't agree.
-
Then wouldn't it make a whole lot of sense not to post and pretend you do know what you're talking about?
-
1. What the fuck are you talking about?
2. It's "canuck"
-
Gah, my bad. I've heard everyone talking about it as a disallowed goal, so it's saturated my brain. True enough, we shouldn't be watching this game, and the cup should be home, in Canada, by now. I still stand by my fucking riot comment though. Because it will happen.
-
Here is where Clawson lets out his annual playoff swear fest:
Fuck ass slut bitch fuck you you fucking dick head LeClavier, fuck I'm sick of these fucking American teams winning the Cup. Fucking commi bastard bitch ass mother fuckers.
I concur. If Calgary loses the cup on a count of that disallowed goal, there's going to be a fucking riot.
-
Godamnit. Tampa goes up 2-0. Things are looking grim for the Flames.
-
Rock-Paper-Scissors match? I'm half expecting Tsubo Genjin to show up and take out LivingLegend or VR. Make it happen syco...
Actually, I really like the idea of at least one gimmick match per show, adds a little flavour to the diary. I'm looking forward to more of this.
-
I don't see the huge problem in doing a re-release, they're not taking anything away from the band's legacy. If anything, they're adding to it by exposing it to a new generation of people who haven't heard it before.
And saying Thrice is shit is just wrong. The Used, yeah, they're crap. Bu Thrice kicks all kinds of ass.
-
I'm kinda bummed that Calgary didn't get it done tonight, but it was a fun game to watch, for sure. Seany, I still don't get what you mean about Belak, or Roberts and Nieuwendyk for that matter. Look at how much Belak played during crunch time in the playoffs. I like Belak just as much as the next guy, but I daresay that's about as much ice time as he's ever going to get.
As for Roberts and Nieuwendyk leaving Toronto, I don't think it'll happen. A lot of the stuff on Hotstove is just speculation (and Strachan being his asshat self). Both guys seems happy in Toronto, and I don't understand how they're not "serious about winning the cup". Getting knocked out of the playoffs means you're not serious, or that you don't want it anymore than anyone else? I'm not buying it.
-
Not too bad a lineup, with at least one questionable admission. Nevertheless, I'd like to see where this goes.
-
Sounds... interesting to say the least. I'd be interested to see who the elite are and how they'll be booked. I'll keep an eye out.
-
Yeah not to seem rude but... you stole the name of my friend's fed. I don't know if there's a rule or whatever, just thought i'd point it out.
No rule against it, so it doesn't matter.
This diary looks like it could have a ton of potential. I've seen the first card and the roster is incredibly solid. I'd definitely check this out again.
-
They're both shit, they can beat each other to death for all I care.
-
Good game tonight, save for Nieminen's hit from behind on Lecavalier. There was really no need for it to happen, and the situation could easily have been avoided. Again, Nieminen lives up to his reputation as a Class A shit disturber.
EDIT: This one needs addressing
Its not needed. Its a part of the game yes, but not when your losing and you get frustrated and just decide to start shitThen when exactly is it okay to fight in hockey? Were the shoe on the other foot and Tamapa Bay, obviously your preferred team, were down, would you condone fighting then?
You were right about one thing at least. Fighting is a part of hockey. A big one, in fact. And the way I see it, it's absolutely necessary. f guys can't fight, you'll see a very sharp increase in dirty, cheap shot penalties when guys get pissed off with one another. t's a lot more honourable and dignified to fight a guy face to face then cheap shot him from behind.

For the record, KISS is PISS.
Like Squancho said, that list isn't very comprehensive, a lot of important genres were just skipped over. The best of kind of music is incredibly subjective anyway, and indicitive only of what style anyone is currently into. That said, I'm personally into a lot of punk/emo/screamo/hardcore right now.
