Finally bought a Switch. Gonna have Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, and Untitled Goose Game to start. Should have it all next week some time. If people are wanting to play, well, you know what to do better than I do.

Well, there was a sale and we gave into the hype.

We bought Agatha Christie’s ABC Murders.

More Fall Guys. It just hits the spot for me right now. We’ll also be Zooming with some friends to play Jackbox Party Pack 7. There’s lot of good stuff in there.

I recently received some serious back pay and a couple of Visa gift cards, so I might finally buy a Switch. But I need to think about it more as we have quite a few medical bills lately.

We’re watching through Taskmaster New Zealand and I love it. For me, it’s even better than season 10 of the UK version. Whoever came up with the tasks did a wonderful job.

Yeah, we’re 5 or 6 episodes in and it’s now on my list for best of the year. Kaley Cuoco and Rosie Perez are giving killer performances.

They really saved some quality tasks for the final episode. Some wonderful disasters.

I somehow haven’t gotten that one, but I got the thin ice final twice. All in all, I love the update. Lots of fun new cosmetics, a new crown progression/reward system, and it looks like 6 new maps.

Has anyone watched The Flight Attendant on HBO Max? I had a friend tell me it’s a really good murder mystery. If true, I’m into that.

I figured it would have a winter theme! I cannot wait for tomorrow. I really like that toy soldier outfit. And is it implying a new final stage?

We watched episode 7 (only that and 8 were up on YouTube.) It’s honestly pretty good. The tasks they’ve devised are quality and I like at least 3 of the contestants. The assistant is clearly taking inspiration from Alex, yet he doesn’t feel like a poor mimic. The Taskmaster had his own energy but it works.

I spent most of the year either playing a couple of elite old puzzle games (The Witness and The Talos Principle) with my wife or going back to RDR2 to truly do a completionist run, which I did finish. Haven't played RDR2 since. Truly great puzzle games are just few and far-between.

The only new game for this year I've gotten into is Fall Guys, which has been really refreshing. It's easy to pick up arcade play, simple but elegant platforming, and a fun-Nintendo-esque aesthetic.

Oh! And the new Jackbox Party Pack 7 is really fun. Blather 'Round was a really welcome addition.

And surely Among Us counts as well, right? It's a fun little mobile game and a cultural phenomenon.

I imagine Fall Guys, Among Us, Jackbox, and Talos Principle (we're on the DLC now) will be all we play through the end of the year, plus perhaps a new (to us) puzzle game.

For our wedding, we were gifted two different Switch games (Animal Crossing and Untitled Goose Game) that I'd love to play, but, uh. No one got us a Switch and we can't really afford one just yet.

That episode made me have FEELINGS.

I’ve heard it’s more of a cross between Bubble Bobble and Oregon Trail.

I just wish they’d skip theaters entirely, at least for a while yet. It’s still an irresponsible thing to do at this stage.

That movie is tremendous.

Son of Sonny Bono and Cher. He’s had a varied career, but last I knew he was acting. When he came out as trans it was all over the news and he was not treated kindly.

Also, on the separate topic of trans men, Chaz Bono has been in the spotlight for quite some time.

That said, I’m extremely happy for Elliot Page. It’s been really cool to see media outlets NOT deadname him and show respect.

Johnny Vegas is such a treasure. Not super into this series so far (though I'm a few episodes behind), not sure if its just the strangeness of These Times but some of the tasks haven't seemed up to snuff. I do love the cast though so 🤷‍♀️

I’ve found my ways since then. After the first couple of weeks it became quite easy.

This last episode had one of the best live tasks in a while.
