  1. Yeah Pacers depth has got to be an issue... Ford has been doing well when Collision has fell off, but if is Granger or Dunleavy that misses through injury or form then the Pacers will struggle a fair bit.

Dunleavy is one of my fav players as he is grossly underrated, if teams started going the hardline on Granger I can see Mike stepping up his game a fair bit.

if they stay on the positive side of wins through December, I think teams will really have to start taking notice

  2. Holy shit, jinxed that right there

siddle on a hatrick and............ has it LBW!!!!!!

or does he... there is a review... thankgod i didnt post this right away would have had to edit it about 11 times

    nope got it!

soo let me try this jinx thing again.... Scarlett Johansson isn't going to leave Ryan Reynolds for me... yeah that ought to do it

  3. Very even at tea, no team has taken control... if england can go through the final session unscathed I would give them day one honors...

Good to see Siddle pick up a few wickets, they need a spread of wicket takers in stead of just one or two guys taking hauls.

Cook and Bell are good enough to play out the day I think, can see England reaching 250 by stumps for 4 wickets maybe 5

  4. Nathan Fillion or bust....

I love me some marky mark, but he just doesn't have the wit to pull this character off

me and my friends have had this discussion a few times, they thought Fillion wasn't in good enough shape for the role and she though that David Borenaz (the dude from bones) would be a good choice and her boyfriend thought that Jensen Ackles could do a pretty good job

  5. I am a fan of Harris so maybe that gets in the way, but provided it is on performance alone I don't see why he deserved to be cut. Yeah he fought a puzzling third round on the weekend, but he was still 3-1 having won by stoppage on all three occasions. The guy worked hard to get back to the UFC after TUF, so he just seems a bit stiff to get cut considering some of the other guys that hang around.

I can't help but think they are just trying to make an example of him.

He really should have lost in the first round though... Bit stiff after just one loss, but Dana has said he wants exciting fighters who give it their all... I think Tyson Griffin was the one he picked out... starting to think Tyson might have some photos of Dana or something, coz he isn't the fighter he showed the potential to be

  6. Holy Shit, I am only a casual fan of the NBA mainly due to the fact you can't really watch it in Australia without cable, but i digress.. The Pacers are on a role... they are a very hard working team without any one superstar... Granger is probably the closest but still hasn't broken through the glass ceiling. Anyone see their form continuing or is this just a purple patch (wins over Miami and Cleveland)

  7. Nelson was dead after a round or so, Brock would kill him.

Everyone said that Brock would kill Cain too.. I heard things like Brock is too big for Cain, Cain won't be able to get him on the ground, Cain won't be able to stuff the takedown, Cain doesn't have the power to knock lesnar out...

I think Lesnar would beat Nelson, but I think it would be closer then many expect.

Can't remember if it was mentioned here or elsewhere but Leben and Bisping are being talked about for the next coach of TUF.. I think this is horrible, I despise Bisping and have no desire to see him again or join the 2 time coaches.

I would love to see Lesnar as a coach, but I doubt with his high profile he would

  8. Not sure if it has been mentioned but Lesnar's camp has apparently come out and said he wants to face 'Big Country' Roy Nelson next... I think this is a good but risky move for Lesnar... If he faces Mir it will be a big money fight that he would be odds on favourite to win. I think Nelson is a talented fighter, who despite his size has ok cardio, I mean the guy went the distance against Dos Santos.

As a fan I wanna see Lesnar take the challenge and go Nelson, as a realist you would expect the UFC to go the money match and have Lesnar vs Mir III

  9. It is amazing how quickly some fighter lose it... I remember watching the 2008 year in review and Gonzaga was viewed as a potential dethroner to Lesnar's reign and now I would say he is very close to being cut.... that knock out kick to cro cop was amazing though.

Did Cro Cop actually offer to step in or is that sarcasm at the fact that he often steps in for people? I thought I read something that he is retired after that awful fight against Mir?

  10. The replay was a big let down, But the right team won. (That pains me so much to say) Collingwood were better in every aspect of the game on the second saturday. The only Saints player who won their position was Goddard.

  11. I go back and forth with Quinn every other episode. I liked him and hated him both in the first episode. I liked the first episode. It set us up for what should be an incredibly interesting season. With Dexter being watched by Quinn and the FBI and him having to take care of the kids (Astor should be a handful). I'm sure his Dark Passenger will kick in sooner rather than later with all the stress, and we'll see how he tries to control it.

EDIT: Speaking of characters I hate, does anybody else hate Deb?

Yes i cant stand Deb, she is always bitching and does that ridiculous screwed up crying thing that makes her look awful.

wanted her to be killed off for ages! but that wont happen with Hall and Carpenter being married in real life.

  12. Yeah this really does seem the fairest way IMO. I think all the talk that they need to change it is quite humerous really.. I mean this is the third time it has happened. 1948, 1977 and now 2010. An even that occurs every 30 years, doesn't need to be changed.

watch me have to eat humble pie now, it will probably be a draw next year :-p

  13. I like the idea of the grand final reply. 5 minutes either way after a gruelling game like that just doesn't seem fitting enough to end the season. Give them another week to prepare for it and go at it again.. and hopefully history repeats itself and Collingwood lose another replay.

    Carn Sainters!

  14. Collingwood and St. Kilda in the grand final

Collingwood are pretty decent favourites after they beat Geelong by 49 points in the prelim. Dane Swan is in brilliant form to everyone bar the umpires and the Saints are unpredictable.

West Coast won the wooden spoon this year with Richmond second last

Luke Hodge from Hawthorn was named AA captain and Richmond's Jack Riewoldt won the coleman with 75 goals

  15. You up again Ace?

if not I'll go an easy one to keep this thing going

Who is the original creator of the Itchy and Scratchy cartoons in the simpsons

    Chester J Lampwick.

and fuck everyone hating on NCIS, It's awesome.

Correct, I was hoping the middle initial got someone... hmm should be a simpsons triva game i think :-p

and also agree with you on the NCIS hate.. i like that show ... and i kinda like NCIS: LA too :-S
