self diagnosed asperger's......more or less painting it as her using it as an excuse to say stuff. I get if people found it offensive but I thought it was more a joke in the vain of cartmen pretending he had tourettes on south park.

I liked it. I don't know if I just expected worst because of what everybody had been saying about it or what. Despite enjoying season two more then most, it was weaker by far then season one. So far it appears more akin to season one but we will see. Overall I'm more encourage then I was coming in. Oh, and Sugar is awesome so far.
  3. Eh the changes are suppose to prevent the 2 car breakways and bring them into packs.......as for how the season goes, it feels stupid to pick against johnson but something has to give sooner or later.
  4. Horford is who I think will be a true inside threat once he puts some weight. Morgan is getting better and better as the season goes on which is great, postive about next season is the freshman wont have to play 20 or 30 minutes a game like Smot and hardaway had to do. Hardaway looks great and I think he will only get better.
  5. I cant believe that MSU is having this downfall. I'm a michigan fan too, and while I loved them getting the win in EL, I feel bad that MSU is basicly on a downworld spiral. the middle of the big ten is all within like a game of each other, I'm guessing they get at least five teams in maybe six, so the question is who will finish strong and who will drop back. I'm enjoying the way Michigan play, I just hope they make a good run in the NIT if nothing else, and continue to get better going into next season. I don't know how deep into the tourny Ohio State can go, they are a good team but I think they have a ceiling that ends before the final four. That said, I hadn't a clue who should be in the final four instead of them.

Ryan Murphy's ADD is to blame for the super fast pacing of the show as they've done about 4+ seasons worth of material already. The larger problem is that Glee is now trying too hard to be this pop culture phenomenon that's in on itself if that makes sense. This wasn't an issue when the initial order of episodes was finished because they didn't even know if they would be successful. You can see that they've ruined most of what was good about Brittany by making her a caricature of what she was at first. It's the same thing they did to Phoebe on Friends. Some of the things that some fans have wanted have been shoehorned into the plots (Santana and Brittany's relationship) for no real reason. The whole first season was about Will and Emma and they basically spent a whole season ruining Will's marriage with the retarded fake pregnancy and then decided to essentially write Emma out of the show. Look at how they just got rid of Tanaka and Shaft for no real reason, then played musical chairs with the 12th member of the club bringing in Bieber 2.0 and then sending Puck to juvie, then bringing in that fat chick etc. In short, there is no long term planning and the desire to either appease the fans or give a hearty F.U. to the critics has ruined the show in my book. I see some of the problems but others I think is bitching to bitch. Actually alot of it is to me. They got rid of tanaka to get beiste. Is it a good trade off? Depends who you asked, I have really enjoyed her this season but to each their own. The complaints about realism i don't get. When I watch glee I don't look for realism. In real life Sue would have never lasted as long as she has in a school. They are started out as caricature of stereotypes. I get the bitching about Brittany to a point, but when it's all said and done, to me it's a dumb blond caricature more than anything. The Santana and Brittany thing was hinted at for a while. Granted I was reading anything between the mid season break last year so maybe there was a lot of clamoring for that before the last episode of season one. Either way, I saw hints of it through the first thirteen, granted since Murphy has been an ass lately, no one wants to give him and the other writers' credit for anything that could be thought of as good writing but eh that's a different subject. The storyline didn't bother me before, and if they pick it up again later on, it won't then either. I don't know why the pacing doesn't bother me but it really doesn't. I enjoy the soap opera like drama, the stupid comedy and the smart comedy. Even with the musical chairs, now they got 14, and if Kurt comes back, it be 15…..saying that there's hard to find story's for all those people is a fair thing to bitch about, but none of what you had said has distracted from my entertainment. Maybe I just shut my brain off when I go watch glee. I do that when I watch a lot of show, but of the people I know that liked the show hasn't spoken ill about it, and before I looked online, I was surprise that fans were receiving season 2 so badly….I n the end I don't get it, I can't defend it because most of the problems brought up I just really don't see. I feel I'm coming off like an ass here but I have enjoyed glee more than anything else on TV except Community, and probably the same level of Sons of Anarchy. I think the pop culture thing is natural for a show like Glee, and that hasn't taking away from the show for me. Thats a lackluster defense of what you said but I guess what it came down to is different strokes for different folks, or however the phase goes.

    Glee

This is something I been wondering lately after hearing alot of bad things about the second season. Could the massive hype that people had coming into this season be why its seen as dreadful? I mean this season isn't as good as the first, so far anyway it hasn't been, but I have thought that it was good at worst. I could just be easy to entertain. My opinion is quite short and simple, but I've wondered what others thought. What I think hurt it was the massive hype coming in after the great first season in many peoples eyes. sorry for the distorted setences, I didn't know quite how to ask the question.
  8. The reason that Detroit fans arnt as worried about the O line is that they really havent been that bad this year. It has improved by leap and bounds. The run blocking could be better, and I do expect upgrades, but it is far from a top prioity. The lions are 2nd in past attempts at around 42 a game, and have given up 14 sacks on the season. The lions need a better offensive line, yes, but the linebacker postion as a whole and improving the secondary seems more important in my eyes at least.
  9. I'll be in, a thread of its own, if we get one going, and a format too would be the keys at this point. But yea, I'm in. I say we make it a dynasty that you can be anyone. just to keep the speed up for it. It can be hard in a conference. I like the idea that HTTK had for the ps3 guys in regards to no A teams. That wold be the only exception......or after rereading HTTK.... what he said but applied to the 360 people. I would prefer to play from the get go.
  10. I be up for either or. I would prefer to play right alway though.
  11. ahh, yea, I havent had that problem, but then again, I couldn't tell you why I havent. I'm getting the same jump that I did before. It's possible I never got much of a jump to begin with. My problem was with my secordary overplaying the run so bad that they get caught to far up. And that type of stuff. Since I made those adjustment I at least been able to be compeitive again.
  12. One thing I have learned is that you cant set half the stuff to agressive like I use to. I now set for them to wrap up instead of a big hit. I also Cant just pick to plan for pass or run mid, left, or right like I use to. In some ways it's a bit more game planning....then again I play mostly as michigan so yea, bah humbug haha.
  13. I'm downright horrible on Defense. And right now, I can move the ball but something bad always happens in the red zone. It feels like such a different game then last year. I like it, but it is very frusterating. I did start out pretty bad last year as well, so hopefully I improve like I did then too.
  14. in for just 111, but if you need one more I can do fight night as well.
  15. I myself, Hope like hell the rams do draft a qb, any qb. Because I want the lions to take a DT. suh or McCoy, though i prefer Suh. Granted, knowing the lions history, the guy will either be a horrible bust or blow out his knee early ending a awesome potential career. One or the other I'm sure.
  16. more a mark against the coach I think. He never as they say "coached up" those top recruits. I very much dislike ND, but they flat out didn't have a ton of talent. Or more specificly, that talent was never truely developed. Jimmy didn't have much around him. Those players never got better. You can blame rivals and others for hyping up those recruiting classes that might make the most sense. Should Jimmy be the number one pick in any way shape or form? not a chance. Suh is a sure pick and can only improve a team. And he can do it right alway and assuming no injuries, for the next 6-10 years. Suhs the common sense pick. But I do think you're being too hard on Jimmy, DMN.
  17. The opening flurry in the Kimbo fight he got rocked as far as I could see, and Wren did the same though I dont remember how early into the fight it was, but it was in the first round of course.
  18. at the moment I'm simming it all pretty much.
  19. well, ost to michigan by a td. Blew coverage as time expired.

  21. the only two things i can think of is...they couldn't see the ball, therefore it was over turned. Or, they said the IU guy didn't have poession....either way I'm glad Michigan got out of there with a win. They seemed to have been over looking IU.
