how often are 4 lost teams in top 16,or even three. Take a conference like the sec, they got at least three teams that could beat another top team in the nation on any given day. Pac ten too. Big ten has three, but they are weaker, so i only put one or two in. Regardless, you gave me idea for your site, actually be a good point counterpoint haha. I want a tournament though, I think there are more then two teams, four teams, 8 teams, 12, teams or even 16 teams in a tournment.

if these teams have no right to go for a title, then the number one team in the nation should walk right over them right. with that analogy, the nfl is whoever has the best record at the end of the season. College football is showing this year, that there is way too much parity in football to not have at least an eight team tournament (not huge fan of) And now we have way to many what ifs for mid majors. When one of those teams come up and win there bowl game and finish undefeated, your saying they have no right to have a shot at the national title. With the way things are set up right now, they can go undefeated and not even sniff the championship game. Even if they beat rank opponent, and then go beat a quality team in a bowl game. (Boise State) And I hear bout them running a bunch of trick plays and they didn't earn that victory, but the fact is, they won. They proved they could play with the big boys, but there season ended undefeated, and no national title. Whats wrong with that. At least a tournament would give a team like that a chance to compete, to see if they truly are one of the best in the country. not to mention a team that stumbles early. Or overlook late. Take Florida. They probably lose out and have really nothing to play for the rest of the season. To call the season a playoff is the worst thing for College football. No other league in the world, ask you to go undefeated, or you don't get a shot at the title in some way. None. Why does college football have to be any different.

I think that statement is stupid, not that you are stupid, dont want to start a fight. But I heard it a lot latly. A season is just that, a season. I use the examples of other sports, but football at the high school and pro level decide that. I think there will be two one loss teams in the title game this year. if not more out there. How do you decide there. To lose shouldn't absolutely kill your shot. As it does now. Good teams who overlooked a team, or had close games(notice thats not my Michigan ha) but those teams shouldn't get screwed out of a shot at a title. The Season sets up the playoffs in every other level of football and every other sport.

Those NE stats are unreal, and awesome as they are my AFC favorite team. Boy its a nice time to be a lions fan, and wow thats weird to say. If, and a HUGE IF Detroit can straighting out their defense, then they can win the superbowl, because the playoffs are, well weird. They could end up as a NE team a few years ago. When they were huge underdogs againist the Rams. Man, my Dream, Lions VS Pats in superbowl. Now in reality, lions should be able to secure them selfs a wild card spot at least because of their schedule. It isn't tough, and there offense is explosive, NFL record of 34 points in the fourth quarter. The defense have to be fix if they want a shot at a division title. first meeting with green bay is n three weeks. If they can get past the Redskins, and set up a 4-1 vs 5-0 or 5-1 or 6-0, witch ever Green Bay. I just want the lions offense to stay going, and the defense to keep improving. Confidence is 50% of the battle and they got some against the bears.

I don't want an eight team tournament. I want a 16 team tournament. I believe there are usually 16 teams out there that could beat any other team at the end of the year. Each team has weaknesses, and a tourney just seems to be more fun. College football is the only sport at any level that don't have a tournment. I think Ohio State would of beat USC, I think Michigan gets drummed by Florida, and Michigan would beat Ohio state. This all in the context of last year, but then again, just what I thought. Football is all match ups. I know it is at the high school level, and as the upsets prove it is at the college level too. The parity is too much to not get a tourney in the next 15 years or so. again, just my thoughts on it.

I don't know if it proved anything other then Michigan was a deflated team, and Ohio State had a young D. Neither team were as bad as they showed in that game. but to this year news. I don't trust the coaches poll in anything. Especically when it comes to all American voting. ( check Beamer of VT) Ap pols have them problems as well. There is really no good poll for once you get to the top 15 or so.

I don't care what it is. I'm damn glad we are winning. That defense is awesome againist a non mobile qb, and I don't think they really face a true on on the schedule for the rest of the year. Not counting a bowl game. I would have to look at my Big Ten network to check that. Ohio State really haven't played no one yet. Big ten season is still a tough season though, I have succeeded this year to the sec and pac ten and big 12 in toughness. O still think of Carr don't get his win against Ohio State finally, he may be in trouble.

Don't blame Isiah, he's a saint. Ok maybe not, and it is making the knicks look bad but I also think the thing is more grabbing for money after being fired on the accusers part.. Admittedly I haven't followed the trial. West are odd on favorites to win the title, but last year to me was more of a bad match up as the spurs against a one man team = a win always. Plus, to me the east have rules to keep James in the game but, I'm a Pistons fan so go figure that I think that. Not taken alway though that he single handily beat us in the game five at the Palace. Moving on to this season. I think the mavs are going to fade a bit this season. I have no real reason other then a gut feeling. The west will come down to the Suns and the Spurs again. I don't think any team matches them in skill. Even though Marian said today that he wanted out of Phoenix esscentily(sp). May force more time on Hill. Think im right with that pick up. The east will be interesting. I think it be pistons and Cavs in the east finals again, but I could see one or both getting not out if the Boston idea pans out, and if Chicago wasting a draft pick on another engerly guy don't hurt them. Then again, a surprise team could make a run as it is the east, and pretty much open to anyone having a decent season.

as a Lions fan, damn why couldn't they have waited just one more week to pull Rex. Our defense is bad, and, he would of help. Still think it will be a close game with some players still hurt on the bears side of the ball, but it be interesting.... I hope.

I myself will probablly get it sometime today. I think its neat that our campus legend gets to play the roundof sixteen in his state tourment. everything look good for it. It will be my frist game for x box 360 so, I'm excited. I recenty switch from sony to microsoft, so, i will have to get the hang of stuff, but I am very excited for this game.

He becoming more and more country rock, and then rap, witch, is fine with me but either way, I have bout all but his first record. Live Trucker is a great live CD. Done in Detroit at Kobi Hall, it is awesome. Kid Rock was a good Cd to me, but it was a lot more country rock then any of his others had been. Depends what you like.

Kelly is fine. She will get even more album sales due to in large fact to her crossroads with Reba Mcentire. She gain a lot of people as fans with that venture. Just give it time, she will sell albums, and then tour later. that all it means. On a side note, are you sure Michelle Branch is coming back. On all Country interviews the girls have gone, they talk about it being permenent.

What do you think about The Dixie Chicks. Here in America they can't get played on the country stations and to most people they are a bit too country to be played on pop or rock stations. I still love there music and think the whole comment about Bush was blown Way out of proportion. Especially in a country that suposly prides itself on free speech, no matter where it is. In case you don't know, Lead Singer Nattie Maines Said while performing in London that They were were ashame that President Bush was from Texas. Since then there standing in the Country music area have been non existent. Even tho there song and cd hit number one on the country charts.
