Nice to see Sanchez doing a decent job at left wing-back.
He's no John O'Shea. That guy could play anywhere.

Liverpool players look rattled. Lallana on to reduce the shit hair levels on the pitch.
Fellaini is on to bring the shit hair levels on the pitch back up.

Well then.

Turning into a good game this.

I'm of course claiming credit for being an inspiration for the team by watching the game live.
-
This is live on SBS down here. So no relying on MUTV radio commentary for me tonight.

Probably still a better pundit than Savage.
Seeing as Randy's been dead for nearly 7 years, I'd agree.

I did end up watching Space Jam again. What a great movie.

Impeccably observed minute silence. Bravo.
Is it just me, or are minutes silences never a minute long? I swear none of them ever feel like they've gone a full minute.

NBC Sports has great commentary. The Prem going to them has been amazing for the league catching on more in America. The panel in the booth are pretty good, and really almost all their match commentaries are good. Arlo White and Graeme Le Saux are excellent together. Arlo is by far my favorite commentator.
Fox's commentators are okay for American soccer related stuff, but they're not educated enough and just out of their depth trying to understand and commentate on Champions League matches.
In Australia we have Mark Bosnich @stokerino's favourite ever keeper. Chelsea tv should really sign him to a long term deal.

Not posted in here for a while but if Wenger leaves Arsenal he'd surely retire completely or take on some token ambassadorial/figurehead role somewhere right? I'm hearing talk Everton might be interested but surely starting over again at another club is something he'd not be interested in at 68?

I have a real life soft spot for Newport County and Queens Park thanks to my days in the Lower League Manager section of the SI forums.
I even had the Newport County researcher comment on my Newport County game thread, delighted that someone was making good use of the data he'd compiled.
Definitely not a Chicago Bulls fan but I have so much respect for Michael Jordan as a player and for Space Jam.
Now I want to go watch Space Jam.

Typical this.
Watch us play like shit against Burnley next.

So not one of my teams got a good result overnight.
I suppose at least in Brighton's case, like I said before, Newcastle winning kept Huddersfield from catching up to us.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic spoke to #MUTV after today's game: "I went for the ball and it was unlucky he jumped into my elbow. But it was nothing on purpose... hopefully he's not injured."
He'd make a good lawyer after he retires.

On one hand I'd like Newcastle to lose because I'd like Brighton to win the Championship but on the other hand I'm looking at Huddersfield in the chasing pack and they're making me nervous.

It's frustrating to again not be able to take advantage of 2 teams above yours playing.

#Pogmissedchance.
Are we still doing those?

A winner in the 10th minute of extra time?

Like playing Sunday League again this, the state of the tackles flying in.
This is actually pretty true because I know my special move was kicking people in the shins.
Much more fun than actually trying to play the game.

Ibra penalty attempt saved.

Stupid thing for someone of his experience to do but I can understand why he'd do it, if Mings had connected fully with that stamp it could have been a horrific injury.
Switched over to MUTV (because I'd rather their half time analysis than sbs's). Bojan pretty much said the same as you, that Mings did a bad football thing but Ibra's experienced enough to know better than to react as he did.

Commentators said the same.

Craig Foster on SBS here was giving particular praise to Young and Valencia.
Nobody on the panel seemed to be interested in the host pushing to get one of the experts to say that the no penalty call was a penalty.
