He hasn't got fuck all on David May.
Don't you mean Paul Scholes? Or was that your 'friend' that made the recognition error?

We get first place back, only to then play and lose to Newcastle next game.
Lovely.

Savage: I’d log on to football message boards under an alias
Former Derby midfielder Robbie Savage says insecurity over his own performances led to him logging on to club message boards using an alias and posting positive comments about himself. Savage played over 100 games for Derby between 2008 and 2011 and says he would post comments after a poor performance.
“I was the most insecure person ever, to the point where when I signed for Derby and was having a shocker, you know those chat boards? I made up a name, went on them and used to say, ‘Robbie played well today, didn’t he. Seriously, I was that insecure I used to phone newspaper reporters up if I got a six or a five in the paper and say, ‘What are you talking about, what game were you at? I was at least an eight or a nine!’
“I was so insecure as a person, I’d have the best game in the world and I’d still think, am I going to be playing next week? I’d phone four, five, six different people to say I played well,” he added.

500? I've got 40 games and I'm still hard pressed to play more than a handful.

I was just Googling stories about people having a weird newly found real-life affinity for clubs they've managed in FM (Telford and Fulham are my big ones), and came across this in one of the articles...
That door knob bit
Newport Country and the Queens Park from Scotland. Took Queens Park to the SPL and Newport to the Championship.

Leicester were such a feel good story last season and I was hoping they'd manage to pull it off when it was clear United were going nowhere near the league title.
It did annoy me that one member of that group of drunks that do the United we Stand Podcasts kept taking pot shots at them and saying how he didn't want them to win and he'd prefer Spurs win the title instead.

It's madness that a poor performance in a game can taint ones fondness for the source material.
-
I'm okay with the season ending now.

A caller to MUTV the other day said we should give Sergio Romero a new and improved contract and that he's worried the DeGea transfer saga starting up again. I presumed here that he was suggesting we make Romero our number 1 keeper rather than look elsewhere if DeGea goes.
The guy finished up by saying Sergio would walk into any club with maybe Bayern, Madrid and Barca being the exceptions.

I should do "first person to sign up wins 3."

That one where @Cymbols didn't die before day 2 was pretty good.

@R.W.'s mafiaville was clearly the best of all games.

United are apparently planning a 30m SWOOP for the Ox from Arsenal. Deary me. Apparently inconsistency and injury proneness is what we need.
30 million and Chris Smalling going the other way apparently.
@Kaney your thoughts?

Bit belated but boo.

Mean.

But on the other hand, fuck the s*n. I can't support anything or anyone related to that scummy paper who spread vicious lies that the majority of people believed for years and tarred the city I'm from, family and friends as a victim city full of whinging scousers who rob from the dead of their own people. They have never properly apologised for the shite they published. That's not even including all the other general scumbagness of what that paper has done to others.
I know I'm extremely biased but my reasons are valid. Fuck them. Scumbags

So I can't be the only one who enjoys going back and rereading old mafias, right? I've been at home sick the last couple days and that's pretty much all I've done. It's actually an enjoyable way to spend a day. At least for me it is.
I occasionally re-read all my greatest triumphs, games I ran that were fun to run and classics from before my time/during my time that I didn't play in. That Scrubs mafia was so much fun to read. What was the name of that game where the town got possibly the most undeserved victory ever? Mushroom Kingdom I think, I have fun reading through that occasionally.

EXCEPT Sons of Anarchy mafia. That was awesome!
I think from memory I didn't enjoy that one. Although I thought my death was pretty well written into it.
I think I remember @Jimmy running a mafia once where I was a bag of cocaine or something. I remember getting super frustrated in that game but that was a pretty cool role.
