  1. I guess someone mad...I could care less about these games past the Sugar Bowl. I can't make a post in the thread about what will happen if I'm not on, so no need to bager people, gosh. I'm taking Ohio, simply for the fact that Marshall fan that's not a homer said their pass defense is horrible, and from what I saw against UCF he was right. Taking Pitt over NC because Dion Lewis is really that good BC/USC will be closer then people think, but you would be a fool to think that USC wont come out to play. They need this game to set theirselves up for a higher ranking at the beginning of next year, which is all that matters in the sad system we have.
  2. Well HTTK didn't do his homework and figure out that 2 of those 3 were injured, and what resulted was a BEATDOWN~! by SMU
  3. Damn, I had a feeling that I would wake up to bad news about this once going to bed. Someone and their family doesn't deserve this so close to Christmas, and that goes in general about everyone. The timing of this reminds me of when I lost my fan-dabi-dozi-granddad, and while yet he was a lot older and less known than Chris, that was a tough holiday for my family.I could only assume it will be the same for them. Something just tells me that his financee stop just too hard in shock once he jumped on the car, and in hindsight wish she could have that moment back. Sad, sad news. RIP Chris Henry
  4. That's not the problem. The problem he was lying the whole time there. When he got there, he made some demands in order for him to stay there. Cincy starts to actually carry out on those demands because they are finally getting the money, and he bolts. Then there is this.... http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20091210/SPT0101/312100073/1055/NEWS/Bearcat+players+among+last+to+know I'm just digusted with the whole situation.
  5. Um....there was only one time where there was a split champion in the BCS, which was 03 when USC was #1 in both human polls but didn't play in the Sugar Bowl.
  6. Fuck the BCS for the system they set up, but fuck the bowl reps too. Words can't explain how I feel right now. I'll try to have as much fun as I can in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl, but fuck!
  7. You just said Oklahoma State won't draw like Boise State, when Oklahoma State have 50,000+ for every home game. I'm done trying to convince you, cause that just don't make any sense.
  8. You could say the same thing last year for Ohio State though. Bosie is going, there is no question about that unless the bowls want a major shitstorm on their hands. But I'm just saying, if Oklahoma St. wins 10 games, and Texas is playing for a National Title, the Fiesta will take Oklahoma St., no matter who they lost to, because of the conference they play in. The question is who gets that last spot, seeing Oklahoma St and Bosie is likely gonna lock up two spots.
  9. I see the Fiesta taking Oklahoma St. cause by some standard they will be BCS-worthy in some way and take them to be their Big 12 team. All that would leave is Texas or Cincy not pulling a lame duck and losing next week. But when I look at it, a Texas loss this week followed by a win next week is the best situation for Bosie St., as that would eliminate any chance you have of Oklahoma St. sneaking in the BCS. My predictions so far right now is: NC: SEC Champ vs Texas Sugar: SEC #2 vs Big East Champ/TCU Orange: ACC Champ vs At-Large/Big East Champ Rose: Ohio St. vs Pac-10 Champ Fiesta: Oklahoma St. vs At-Large/TCU That would leave 2 spots for Bosie to pray for, and I can't see any justification to invite any of GT or Oregon if they dont win their conference, or Penn St. or Iowa over them. So Bosie should be in good shape, and a Texas loss this week would put them in even better shape as that would eliminate Oklahoma St. from any chance at the BCS.
  10. Oh it was a natural reaction alright. He saw his world cup chances going away as the ball sailed towards the line, and he saw a teammate in perfect position for a goal, so he stuck his hand out to save the ball.
  11. Someone plays basketball at the Univeristy of Cal and his name is Bak Bak. http://california.scout.com/a.z?s=166&p=8&c=1&nid=3747106
  12. Thought I should start a thread since a 24 hour marathon is going on over on ESPN and DMN is probably watching UCLA not play fan-dabi-dozi offense. John Wall hit a game winner tonight against Miami (OH), futhering the belief that I think he is gone after the year. DISCUSS~!
  13. It should be between Ingram, Gerhart, Spiller, and Keenan (even though he lost to UCF this week). But then again, you have Tebow and McCoy, who the media love
  14. I am glad Iowa keeps shooting themselves in the foot, go lose the Captial One Bowl instead of the Rose Bowl. EDIT: And I soon as I open my mouth, TD Iowa. Let me go back to MTST/ULL on the TV and Stanford/USC on the computer EDIT #2: USC is going to the Sun Bowl
  15. Boise is going to the BCS unless Texas loses. If Texas wins, that frees up an at-large bid. If Texas loses, there are going to get an at-large bid, leaving 2 spots left, and then you start getting picky.
  16. I really doubt that anyone other than the ACC Champ will get in the BCS, so if Duke somehow pulls out the upset, tough luck GT. There is no way in hell Iowa is beating OSU this week in the Horseshoe. Unlike when they played Penn St., Iowa will be facing a healthy defense. Pryor will have to implode for tOSU to lose. As for the BCS, the only team going out the Big 10 is the conference champ. The polls are stupid, end of story. It should be Oregon > USC > tOSU, but it's the exact opposite. Why is there a coaches poll in the first place, I don't know, cause they only watch so "many" games. I don't hear anyone saying Cincy is "mid-major" at all. If anything, the media is creaming in their pants everytime they mention their offense. If Texas does slip, I can see a slight chance Cincy goes to the title game, a little better than TCU given that Cincy has 2 ranked teams left to play, and a way better chance than Bosie. If fact, Bosie won't play for a NT unless everyone loses, then it will take a miricle. If TCU loses this week, their done. If Texas and Cincy both lose on Dec. 5th, then I will find it hard to believe that we won't see Florida/Alabama II in Cali unless Florida or Alabama slips up before Atlanta, then whoever lost wins that game. Again, Alabama is a shoo-in for the BCS unless they implode down the stretch. Boise, again, has only beaten Oregon, and struggle with a lot of teams they should have beaten easily. With the small margin of error mid-majors have, they need every style point they can get. This is how I see the BCS shaping out (just teams, I'm not going into the bowls with so many ways it can play out) Florida Alabama Texas (If they let a Big XII North team beat them, shame on them) TCU Cincy/Pitt winner tOSU USC/Oregon (As much as I don't want it to happen, I am not sure Oregon will be able to hold Quizz or beat Arizona, opening the door for USC AGAIN) GT/Clemson (If Duke wins, I will be stunned and cry tears of joy) Bosie LSU (best 2-loss team in my opinion, but they have to win out, can easily be replaced by Cincy though if their only loss is to Pitt) This is barring everyone imploding or just Texas imploding
  17. Double Post, but this is not good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbKqT7R0WvU Hope he is okay
  18. No, just no. The Big Ten doesn't need to take any more of a hit. OSU needs to win cause Iowa will get murdered in any BCS bowl. Oh and GO NAVY! I am hoping for a Lou meltdown tonight
  19. I think we are due for an upset weekend this week
  20. I want Cincy to win out and Iowa to lose, because I just have a feeling whoever loses the SEC title game would still somehow stay ahead of Cincy, TCU, and Bosie, starting the firestorm that is needed
  21. You, my friend, is the only person who has this thought
  22. That becomes a moot point though when the fact stands that VT won the Orange Bowl last year
  23. Of course, he is from the State of Michigan
