I won a match today with my 87 overall CAF against a guy whose CAF was 96 overall (I had lost to him before). Revenge is sweet:)

Yea mutliple KO/Submission/Fight of the nights is really boring. Since when is complete and utter domination not HoF worthy. fucking game.

Also, the term"The Shine" comes straight from the developers themselves. Thats what they refered to the circular motion as when they release a youtube video talking about submissions.

Complete and utter domination bores me. I'd much rather have a career of actually being tested, losing at times and never dominating. I just find it boring when it becomes dominating and it isn't a challenge, maybe that's just me though. KO, FOTN and SOTN do not mean you deserve to go into the HOF though

There's not much I can do. I'm already playing on expert and I'm not going to lose on purpose. I've won by Tko, KO, submission, decision. I've had tons of cred, I want to know exactly what it takes to get into the hall of fame because its fucking ridiculous that neither of my two CAFs got in.

So basically just win alot of KO Of The Night, Fight Of The Night, Submission Of The Night and whore up your CAF with sponsor logos? And kale, expert?! I can just play in advanced, but holy shit.

I played the hell out of the demo and so I got pretty good at the game.

Two things

1) What the fuck does it take to get into the god damn hall of game. In my two CAF careers (on expert) I've gone 30-4 and 31-3 but in neither of them did I get into the HoF. Both games I won the title then defended 18 times in a row (including my retirement fight). In my second career I had over 90k cred easy.

2) The people who have like 94+ CAF's must be doing on the easiest modes cause I fucking whooped ass in sparring sessions with both of my guys and one is an 87 and the other is an 89 (again on expert).

With my CAF's (not 100 overall types) I've been tapping out the computer and people alike with the button mashing techniques (would have gotten rocksta too if he didn't hit the guide button ). But yea, I can't stand "the shine" since I can't do it very fast and the computer almost always escapes if I do that method. So now when I make a CAF I make sure they have a high str rating.

I thought so, but how does hitting the guide button make Kale unleash his hold on Rocksta, doesn't it only affect Rocksta then because he gets the pop-up in his screen?

I didn't hit the guide button. Rocksta did when I had attempted a sub on him. I ended up getting the submission but I'm saying I probably would have gotten it even if he didn't press the button (cause he was pretty much gassed when I went for the submission).

Its amazing how many people don't pace themselves when fighting. I have almost 20 wins in ranked by submission. I want to stand up with someone but either they try and take me down and then I use my BJJ to mount/GnP or Submit) or they keep spamming kicks so I take them down then GnP them or submit them.

I'd have to say my first fight with Rocksta was the most fun I've had.

My first fight with Rocksta was only one of 3 fights in all my fights online (ranked or otherwise) that has gone to a decision.

Same way you counter a transition. As soon as they go for it, you flick the R stick.

w00t! In a ranked match I countered someone's slam from clinch into a guillotine choke for the submission.

They definitely need to patch this quitting shit. Give the non-DCer a W and not have it count against his DNF

I can't wait until I reach higher levels because the people I've been playing online have no idea how to defend in the ground game.

I usually play LHW and if we're only talking about actual ufc fighters than I like playing Rua

If you want to escape submissions either raise your sub defense so you can do the shine, or raise your str. Those are the two key attributes.

Personally I like the idea of having to stick to one fighter.

My CAF has a high str rating (93) so i use the button mashing for my submissions instead of "The Shine". "The Shine" has never worked for me.

Its funny how I used to struggle with submissions in the demo. Now I'm tapping bitches out in the first round on expert. I just caught Anderson Silva with a knee bar not even two minutes into the very first round.

I don't know if its just me but the games I've been playing online have been pretty laggy and the people usually don't know what the hell they are doing (aka you get them to the ground, they are fucked).
