And so my CAF's career ends against Wilsion Gouveia. The last person to defeat me. My career ends with a round 1 GnP knockout. My final record was 30-4 and I never lost once I won the Lightheavyweight title. This was all done on expert. I'm up for playing online (my GT is Kalekayn on the 360, send a FR is you want to play).

edit2: woo! started playing player matches online and had my first disconnect. I was playing Rua vs Jackson, and mounted him within the first minute and started pounding away and then the opponent douche disconnected.

FUCK YEAH! I just submitted Chuck Liddell with an armbar on expert while defending my LHW title. I never could submit him in the demo so this feels really fucking good.

I'm fairly sure you can pick up Rua and drop him while in his guard as well.

Yea when you are in his guard and he has you close to him do LB+minor transition

chuck's powerbomb (maybe more of a piledriver really) is when you sprawl when your opponent tries to take you down but you keep a hold on him, from there you use LB + minor transition movement to do chuck's powerbomb/piledriver

I love knocking Rua out on the ground as Chuck though my favorite was actually getting a stoppage from the mount instead of a flat out KO.

And I don't have to press anything else along with the stick? I thought I read something about pressing down the left bumper or right bumper when countering.

some people have signature transitions and thats where the LB comes in when it comes to ground game transitions (either offensive or defensive).

w00t! I just mounted Rua and pounded his face in continuously until the ref stopped the fight. First time I didn't actually knock him out from the mount.

I just kicked the shit out of chuck's ribs on expert and got him to the point that when you hit them he got rocked:)

edit: w00t I just knocked chuck out with an uppercut. I caught him with it as he was going for his overhand right. It looked sick

another edit: Just rocked chuck with a knee to head from the muy thai clinch and finished him off

My personal experience is that it is harder to fight chuck then rua. When I fight as Chuck, I can just destroy Rua but when I fight with Rua it seems like his strikes aren't doing anything (other than body shots and leg kicks) and its hard to get chuck down onto the ground.

I've played this demo more then I have played some full games. It is just so well done.

I'm winning 8.5/10 fights against rua. I try to go for the stand up KOs but sometimes Rua is a bastard and just keeps trying to take it to the ground where I just end up mounting him and KOing him this way.

People complain about fighting Chuck on expert (I haven't fought against Chuck yet) so I'll have to see if that is any more difficult then beating Rua on expert.

Its ok to mess around with but when you go online expect see a lot of Magneto/Storm/Sentinel along other top tier characters.

I have yet to get a submission. I've had every other type of victory but submission.

I've lost due to random KO's/submissions to Rua but at best Rua wins 1.5/10 on expert.

edit: lol I think I've posted more in this thread then I have in any other thread in all my years on EWB (I've been on the boards longer than 04).

Am i the only one who is crushing Rua on expert? I mean I'm not KOing him in the first round but he never really gets me in any danger of losing (other than when the computer randomly decides no matter how much stamina you have or how much you mash or twirl the stick that you can't escape the submission).

I can't wait to get this on release day
