I'm looking forward to when my offense stops being god awful.

I've started reading Waid's Daredevil and just finished the issues with Spider-Man and the Black Cat in volume two. I'm loving it and will probably focus on that for my catch up reading. The issue where he gets stranded in the snow with the kids was great.

I'm also a few issues into Lemire's Green Arrow after giving up on Nocenti. This looks like it should be 1000% better.

But what I absolutely loved:

was the fact that I had no idea there were other monsters in the movie. Had no clue about the MUTO and they managed to restrain themselves from showing it in the trailers. I greatly appreciated that.

Overall, a flawed, but fun movie. Worth seeing in the theater and I'll totally buy the blu-ray.

I was listening to NPR on Friday and they gave away this part of the plot. I switched stations before they said anything else. Still enjoyed it though and really liked the atmosphere at the end.

Tonight's episode was the first that I had a chance to watch live and it peaked my interest again after transitioning from watching the back log to on demand viewing. I just finished reading both volumes of Green Lantern/Green Arrow and would love to see a mini-arc mimic that story somehow next season.

Adam Jones also used it for one game

Cubs get out of the bases loaded with no outs in the bottom of the 13th.

Anyone have the Connect or PrePlay apps? They seem like they should be fun.

I saw Need for Speed tonight. If you can get past everyone's disregard for the safety of the general public, it's pretty entertaining.
