Should be easier for the Scots to pronounce Rojo, a Spanish J is much like the Scottish CH as in Loch.
Is it? It's pretty much as Rich said, pronounce it as an H.
-
Whilst we do need to spend money, that's quite stupid.
A couple of years ago, maybe, but today £100million probably would only get you two or three world class players, if that.

Altho I do love how Sterling minces when he runs
He is my favorite 'runs like a T-Rex' player.

Fraser Forster is a good keeper, sure.
Artur Boruc is a much better keeper. There is a difference between keeping against Kris Boyd and Sergio Aguero.
A bit weird to say that, as Boruc's big break was at Celtic too. Forster looks like he could make the step up too.
-
Also, having Forster behind them should help.
Will it? Artur Boruc was the 4th best keeper in the league last season.
Fraser Forster's just conceded 6 over two legs with a team that scored just 4 against The New Saints 12 months ago.
Fraser Forster is still a good keeper. It'd be like saying that David Marshall is absolutely terrible, solely because Cardiff got relegated. A big part is about the defenders you have in front of you, and I'd say Southampton have a much stronger defensive line than Celtic.

Their defence still looks alright to me. Didn't Yoshida/Fonte/Clyne have good seasons last year?
Also, having Forster behind them should help.
Yeah, I seem to remember those three having not-terrible seasons and being generally good players.

Sky Sources (and Jim White) reckon Mehdi Benatia is on his way to England to discuss a move to Utd from Roma.
I won't claim I've seen much of him, but I did read that he was regarded as one of, if not the best defender in Serie A last season.
Where's our Serie A expert, Nerf, when you need him?
Edit: Saw a 2min clip on YouTube and decided he's better than what we have now.
Looks more composed going forward than half of our midfield too. Says a lot.
Thought JohnnyPerfect was our Serie A expert?
Yeah, JohnnyPerfect has been a Serie A fan all his life, Nerf is a fan of leagues so obscure even streaming sites aren't sure they're real.

WEST HAM ARE NO LONGER BOTTOM!
-
I don't know if it's already been posted, but did a bird really shit into Ashley Young's mouth!?
-
But Andros Townsend did go to the World Cup. :/
That's Lewis Hamilton :/
-
Whilst I think it's a shame the Southampton side is being absolutely gutted, as I really like them, they'd be bonkers not to sell. They've doubled their money on Lovren within a season, and sold everyone else (with the exception of Rickie Lambert) for well above their market value and what they'd have assessed them as 12 months previous.
I'm sure West Ham fans would retrospectively go back in time and accept Liverpool's £15mill bid for Carlton Cole.

Loving Orange is the New Black. Once I power watch this, I can finally start Breaking Bad, House of Cards and Game of Thrones.
I am finally getting around to watching all these shows you guys rave about.

MLS news roundup!
New England Revolution are loaning Jerry Bengston out to an Argentinean side, continuing their battle with Chicago to determine who can have the worst track record with DP signings in MLS today.
Houston Dynamo have signed Honduran midfielder Luis Garrido which may not be the end of their signings this window, which would make sense because holy shit are they ever imploding right now.
Phladelphia Union are apparently preparing to sign Algerian GK Rais M'Bohli, who was great at the World Cup and is an exciting signing right up until you stop and wonder why in the world the Union needs another keeper.
Garrido is awesome.

No chance Hummels is going anywhere for as little as £16m.
Yeah, I can't see Hummels being let go for that amount. They'd atleast push for £25mill.
-
The Earthquakes are really awful, though. But hey, diversity in EWB supporters is good!
I'm a West Ham fan - being really awful is par for the course.
Just looking at the squads, those four seemed the most appealing to me.

I don't know how comes you're so bad, you had Freddy Adu. He's a cheat player :/
-
Let's go Earthquakes! They had Darren Huckerby!
-
It's BT, Bluey.
Thanks.
I'm down to four teams based on solely the squads - FC Dallas, Portland Timbers, San Jose Earthquakes and Seattle Sounders.
Who is the most West Hamy out of these?
-
It may have been answered here, but aside from streaming, where else can us Brits watch the MLS? Is it on Sky or BT Sports?
I am going to pick a team!

I seem to hoard DVDs. I have 39 films and 19 TV series that I haven't seen. Excluding what I have downloaded on my computer. (Plus atleast 100 books!)
I think I might have to ban myself from buying any book or DVD until I've worked through what I've got.

Does that mean Shaqiri is good enough for Liverpool yet?
I expect to see him at Dortmund now.

TOO MANY BEES!
*Nicholas Cage runs on to the pitch*

With 'veterans' like Tim Cahill and Clint Dempsey really impressing this World Cup, maybe England should package Gerrard off to the MLS for a year or two and hope it has the same effect on him.

I logged in to my Paddy Power account now to a rather pleasant surprise. My bets for France 3-0 Honduras with Benzema first goal and Italy 2-1 England mean that I can put a few chance bets on as I'll still end up.
