  1. So, how is everybody feeling about Beyonce going country? I've only listened to one of the two songs released so far, and it was super repetitive, just like her pop music, just had a country twang to it.

I know quite a few 49ers fans that are in a Football group I quit a few months ago who can go fuck themselves. Kind of wish I was still in it to go read their whining, excuse making, and conspiracy theory/NFL is rigged garbage.

I knew going into the game that our secondary would struggle. Spent way too much money on the Frontline and not enough on cornerbacks. I would much rather have a shut down corner then Chase Young. And we had been having issues with offensive play calling pretty much all season. Shanahan gets in his head too much and doesn't stick with the run game enough. No excuse or whining from me, as frustrating as it is.

Say it every year but the lamest tradition in sports will always be the owner getting to hold the trophy first

It's right up there with the media swarming the field along with the players.

I dunno man. I think Kira Lewis and a 1st is good enough for a team that needs just a little bit of an edge to get past a .500 record. And with the record the Raptors have that pick is gonna get you someone good. (Granted they draft smart)

Nope. The draft pick will be the worst out of Utah, Houston, Clipper, or Thunder. So, it's going to be a late first round pick, most likely from the Clippers.

What? You're gonna miss Kelly Olynyk that much?

Yes. Kelly is awesome. A good guy and a hustler on the court.

I'm hoping the moves we made were just to open up more time for Kessler and Hendricks. Wasn't sure what I was hoping for but trading two of our starters for not much wasn't it.

Also, love the Knicks picking up Bogie and Burks. Great move.

  6. Toby Kieth passed away yesterday, age 62 from stomach cancer. Toby's hit "How Do You Like Me Now?" is what got me into country music and I saw him in concert 5 years in a row. He was a major part of me growing up. Say what you will about his views and how his music was the last decade or so, but this one hurts.

  7. I don't care how good LeBron is playing at his age but a team would have to be crazy to trade for him right now. They would either have to give up a star that makes just as much or mortgage their entire team, at which point you're just in the same spot LeBron is in now.

  8. I wasn't able to watch the game tonight, and thought for sure we were going to blow it. Hoping we come out strong against the Chiefs because I don't know if we can come back three games in a row.

Also, of the Chiefs do win, I'm totally betting on Kelce proposing on the field after the game to TS.

Perhaps it's flippant of me to say, but I'd suggest there's an element of business about it. Playing defence may earn you respect with your teammates and coaches, but scoring points earns you endorsement deals and media attention. I'd say players are much more interested in the latter these days.

Spoken like somebody who has Rudy Gobert on their team.

If that was the case then what's stopping them from scoring 62 regularly?

Good defense? Playing team basketball? Honestly, if Luka or Joel or Booker wanted to score 62 plus a game, they probably could. But, is beneficial for them to? If it's in the flow of the game and everything is falling for them, cool. But, would they win if they were forcing things? If they're teammates stopped playing because what's the point?

Both things can be true. Teams (besides the Hawks) can play good defense. And there can be really good offensive players that are fully capable of going off for 60 plus points during any game.

  11. 49ers will have Deebo tomorrow against the Lions. A lot of people said we didn't stand a chance without him, which makes me laugh. Apparently, Deebo should be in the MVP talks if we can't win without him.

I'm still nervous tho. Playing a great Lions team that is on a roll and we really struggled those first three quarters last week.
