  1. Vipers win our first BG in a few weeks, and I draw an elite Brock Lesnar, which I already have as a pro. Getting a little frustrated with the game, honestly. It's like I've hit a wall with my cards.
  2. And the Heat resigned James Johnson. Kinda shocked Carter went to the Kings. Thought for sure he would be joining a contender. Gay on the Spurs should be interesting.
  3. Tatum has looked great so far. As has Exum and Mitchell for the Jazz. I wish I had gone down to Salt Lake and caught some of the games this year. Still got a few days left, but I don't think it's gonna happen.
  4. It wouldn't really help them clear the space any way. It was just a pipe dream. I don't think just trading away Crowder will do the trick either. Guess we'll see what happens between today and tomorrow. If they do manage to swing a trade for Gasol, him teaming with IT and Hayward is gonna be fun and make some noise.
  5. Personally, I would rather have Brown and either the Nets pick or Lakers pick. Y'all wanna clear space for Hayward? Good, give us something in return. But, I've always liked Crowder too and hope we can work something out for a sign and trade.
  6. They were being proactive in trying to keep him, which you do for a star player. Resigning Ingles, trading for Rubio, trading up in the draft for Mitchell, all moves made to keep Hayward here and happy. What would you have wanted them to line up? Tell the Pacers or Denver to not trade anybody until Hayward makes his mind up? I get what you're saying that the Jazz should have a contingency plan in place. And knowing our GM, I'm sure he does. I'm just saying that if Hayward had told the Jazz earlier what his intentions were, maybe they would have had a different plan in place and already done.
  7. What's the contingency plan when any good replacements are taken while you're waiting for your franchise player to tell you he's leaving? The Jazz front offices hands were tied. Couldn't make a move to replace Hayward without actually knowing he was gone.
  8. From a team stand point and with how fast the NBA moves, waiting four days can be killer. From his stand point, I'm sure four days wasn't nearly long enough. But, if Hayward had made his mind up earlier, the Jazz could have made a move for Danilo or if he had said something at the end of the season, gone after Paul George. So, yes, waiting four days is a long time in terms of what it can do for a franchise.
  9. Seeing Danilo go to the Clippers is one of the things that makes me mad Hayward waited so long to say he's going to the Celtics. I think he already had his mind made up. And if he had said it earlier, I wonder if the Jazz could have gotten in and traded for Danilo.
  10. It's no different then Durant leaving OKC or LeBron leaving Cleveland the first time. Hayward was our franchise player. As a life long Jazz fan and resident of Utah, having a franchise player leave in his prime and right as the rest of the team is coming into their own freaking stings like nothing ever has. So, burning his jersey is perfectly ok to me. And I also hopes he becomes the next Larry Bird.
  11. Meh. Good for Hayward. It's such a shame that we built this whole team around him, gave him the reigns to it finally, made some noise in the West, and he bolts. To play for college coach. He talks about wanting to finish what they started...win a championship...what about what we have going in Utah? Guess we don't matter at all. I'll still root for Hayward but I'll also be happy when they lose.
  12. @En Dub i have tons of family that love in or are from Massachusetts and I'm pretty much the only one that isn't a fan of their sports teams. Red Sox and patriots I hate but I've always had a soft spot for the Celtics. So if Hayward went there, I would cheer for them.
  13. Yea, seeing now that nothing is confirmed. And what I said was just a joke. I love Hayward and will root for him and cheer him on no matter where he goes.
  14. I hope he breaks his leg and his wife leaves him. He's an idiot.
  15. Kings just signed Zach Randolph and George Hill. Instantly improving there team. And every time my phone goes off with a sports notification and it's not about Hayward, I worry more and more.
  16. All this waiting for Hayward to make a decision is giving me anixitiy. I'm gonna have a Heart attack soon. And if he doesn't pick the Jazz, I'm probably gonna cry.
  17. Imagine what the tickets would cost if LeBron had his way and there was no salary cap.
  18. https://mobile.twitter.com/rudygobert27/status/881336694753984512?ref_src=twsrc^tfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fforums.realgm.com%2Fboards%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ft%3D1562918%26start%3D1160 Rudy Gobert is the best tweeter in the NBA. I'm pretty sure we traded the OKC pick that we had, so the Jazz having a down season wouldn't affect it. Jazz got Joe Ingles resigned today. Amazing glue guy. Glad he's back.
  19. Jazz traded for Rubio, not Rondo. Nobody is gonna sign Rondo, hopefully. Although, I would love to see Coach Pop teach him a lesson in San Antonio. Wolves just signed Jeff Teague. It's gonna be a fun division with them, Jazz, and the Thunder.
  20. Did not see George going to the Thunder.
  21. I'm thinking the Wolves are hoping they can sign do the Lowry or Hill or another point guard that can shoot better then Hill. So, they'll probably end up with Rondo.
  22. I've been a Jazz fan my whole life and I don't even know what we call ourselves.
  23. Jazz just traded a 2018 first round pick for Ricky Rubio. This makes me extremely happy.
  24. This is awesome. Tanner Ainge, the son of Danny Ainge, is running for Congress in Utah. And he's trying to convince Gordan Hayward to resign with the Jazz and not go to Boston.
  25. Yea but think how much the star players earn off endorsements. Paul and Harden playing together is gonna be fun to watch.
