  1. I just hope that whoever they hire keeps Hornacek on as coach.
  2. I think Green is a talented player who is very lucky to play with the players he plays with. Reminds me a lot of Rondo on the Celtics. However, I hate how he has to resort to dirty play and crying to actually do a good job. He has the length, skills, and IQ to still be a great defender and contribute on offense. But watching him kick players, cry to the officials and everything else he does annoys the crap outta me.
  3. Pretty disappointed to see the NBA rewarding Green for being a dirty crybaby. Thought all the other rewards were spot on. Can't wait to see Gobert play with an even bigger chip on his shoulder next year.
  4. I was more referring to your "two more teams with no realistic chance to win a title" comment. If you want every team to be a title contender, the contracting to six or so teams is the way to do it. Personally, I agree with @Red Devil-Taker316. I think 24-26 teams would be perfect for the talent level and to have the best basketball played every night. But, since the NBA is a money-driven business, they will never again contract a team. So, why not add more? Rivalries will mean more as some teams won't play each other four times a year, teams that want to rest their best players will have more chances to against the crappier teams, and the two cities with the added teams will have a few more dedicated fans. Is it perfect? Hell no. Will the level of basketball played drop? Maybe a little. Are there pros and cons to staying put, contracting, or expanding that we could sit here and debate all day? Definitely.
  5. So by that logic, should we just get rid of all the teams but like six? If Draymond Green wins DPOY tonight over Rudy Gobert, I'm rioting.
  6. I wouldn't mind seeing the NBA add two more teams. Yea, they say the talent is already spread too thin, but I think there is also plenty of players out there with talent not getting a chance.
  7. I can't stand Doc Rivers (overrated), Blake Griffin (injury prone, no work effort, crybaby), or Jordan (dirty asshole). I don't mind Chris Paul when he's not whining. Would love to see him on the Jazz actually. So yea, I'm pretty happy to see them going back to the bottom like they always have been.
  8. Clippers are done. Paul and Griffin both opted out.
  9. I would do that in a heartbeat. Would suck losing Favors but getting Dame back in return would be amazing. I know it's never going to happen, at least not for another four years, but it's always fun to think about. And if you're looking for guards that defend, Hood and Burks are not the answer.
  10. @The Big Bratwurst I think the Blazers need to give up on Lillard like the Bulls gave up on Butler. He's already said he wants to play for the Jazz or Lakers if Portland doesn't want him anymore. So why not make a trade to the Jazz happen now? We would gladly take one of those other big contracts off your hands. Loved listening to Donovon Mitchell interview after the draft. Always nice to hear a player say he wants to play in Utah.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if Boston trades them all away for a superstar, especially if they miss out on Hayward.
  12. I mainly like it because Trey Lyles turned into a bum so being able to flip him for somebody with some potential is awesome. In Dennis Lindsey we trust.
  13. Jazz trade Trey Lyles and the number 24 pick to Denver for the #13 pick, and draft Donovon Mitchell. Love it!
  14. Don't let LaVar Ball find out that that French guy has a better shot at becoming an All-Star then his son does.
  15. Yea...not sure what the Bulls are doing...trade your star player then draft a guy like that?
  16. I'm gonna cry if Hayward signs with Boston .
  17. When Hayward stays with the Jazz, the division battle between us and the Wolves are gonna be fun to watch.
  18. Wolves just ripped off the Bulls for Butler. Lavine, Dunn, and the 7th pick is amazing for a player like Butler.
  19. Hearing that the Jazz are trying to make a move to trade up in the draft. Also, a rumor going around that Derrick Favors had put his house up for sale and removed all mention of the Jazz from his social media.
  20. I never thought I would say that David Carr's brother is the highest paid player in the league.
  21. Because Phil Jackson has no idea how to put together a good basketball team? Pretty excited for the draft tomorrow. Interested to see if the Jazz pull off a trade or keep their picks.
  22. For George, teams are thinking that since he's already said he wants to leave, why trade anything for him when you can just sign him next year. At least, that's what the Lakers are thinking. Other teams probably don't want to give up too much for a one year rental who will just sign with the Lakers next summer. For Butler, I have no idea.
  23. Heros. First season was amazing, second was good, and the third was absolute trash and I gave up about half way through it.
  24. Dwight should have been as dominate as Shaq and won multiple championships. But, he's lazy and doesn't have the mindset of it. Could you imagine him with the work ethic and attitude of Kobe?
  25. So that means the Lakers are gonna draft Bell, doesn't it? Why else would they trade Russell? Also, Bulter told the Cavs he doesn't want to be traded. EDIT: and now Dwight Howard has been traded to the Hornets? What is this madness?
