I recently saw The Horrors at Brixton Academy, who were very good, although given that they still play smaller venues fairly frequently, have been better live. They were briefly supported by Bo Ningen if you got there for when doors opened, which I did. They were great, and very loud.
Next live music for me will be provided by the bands at the Rockabilly Rave next weekend.
Saw Bo Ningen at South Street in Reading, which is pretty much an arts community hall. They were awesome, and noisy!
Also have one of their t shirts somewhere.

Saw Big Business at a secret set at The Croft In Bristol on saturday. Matinee gig, was awesome.

He couldn't have expected to be a regular feature, surely? But then again I did expect to see a bit more of him than we did, so I can understand him being disappointed. Might be good for him to go on loan to Reading or someone until January, at least.
Ill take him!

And I was the only person who made a big deal about Swansea getting him on loan.
Sometimes, I feel like I am awesome.
Just sometimes.
Being a Reading Fan, As soon as he left the club, I said he could go on to play at one of the biggest clubs in the world. Still think he can, bags of potential, was annoyed that he went to Swansea on loan and not a return to the Royals!

Im hoping this means Gylfi won't go to Swansea and Reading can sign him back!

ANTON Zingarevich has completed the first stage of his takeover of Reading FC.
His Gibralta-based Thames Sports Investment company has acquired an initial 51% stake in the club for around £25 million.
The process was finally ratified by the Premier League and Football League earlier today following weeks of investigations into the 30-year-old Russian's background.
Zingarevich, who eventually wants full control of the club, has now joined the Reading FC board along with TSI's Christopher Samuelson and Andrew Obolensky plus Royals chief executive Nigel Howe.
Sir John Madejski will remain as chairman of the board, while Ian Wood-Smith stays on as another director.
The takeover will give manager Brian McDermott the green light to bolster his squad this summer following rumours of a failed £2 million bid for Nottingham Forest defender Chris Gunter recently.

David Seaman
Angelico Fucks - Rod Fanni - Francisco Arce - Bernt Haas
Nicky Butt - Sven Bender - Shaun Cummings - Florian Dick
Stefan Kuntz - Cha Bum Kun
My fantasty XI
Shaun Cummings has my vote for the best chant aimed towards a player.
(To the tune of Tom Hark)
Shaun Cummings, all over your face.

My favourite footballer is Sven Bender.

I have had Bandages by Hot Hot Heat stuck in my head for the past 3 days. I wake up and its playing in my head, its getting a bit silly now.

He should of come back to Reading!, or i seriously think one of the bigger clubs should of taken a chance on him for that money. Shame he didn't go for more as Reading have a sell on clause.
Was such a good player, played one season in the first team and we sold him for 7 Million.

Although i'd prefer us to buy a new LB, Ian Harte is good to have around, and thoroughly deserves another crack at the Prem. So many goals from Left back and like people have said, his free kicks are unreal.
If he can pop up with even 2 or 3 goals in the Prem then its worth it.
I thought he played centre back nowadays? He did against us anyway.
He played left back against us. Plus don't they have Pearce and Gorkss playing at centre back?
He chipped in at centre back a few times, but spent the majority of the time at LB, and the beginning of the season on the bench ( we tried using Joseph Mills at LB but he was a bit green)
I like Joe Mills, would you like to give him back to us? I think our left back is leaving...
Also...lol, Kirkland.
he's probably available in all fairness, think hes been on the bench once since like Nov/Dec and thats it.

Michael Owen released by Man Utd. Been lots of rumours liking him with Reading the last month or so.
Only reason we'd get him is for the brand name/marketing opportunities.

Getting hyped for the new Fang Island album. Such an amazing band, so positive and full of life and energy. Their cover of Always Be My Baby by Mariah Carey literally makes me cry with joy haha

I guess I'd say Big Business have my favorite lyrics, but maybe it's just because I have yelled theirs the most. Somewhat like NoMeansNo and Melvins lyrics, very strangely intense. Like describing a juggling act as if it were a life and death situation for the listener.
I agree, Jared's vocals are amazing.

Just found out Gary Numan is playing Sub89 in Reading, about a 2 minute walk from my house. Can't miss a bit of that!
