  1. Metallica or Megadeth?:

    --Metallica.

    Nirvana or Pearl Jam?:

--...Tough one. At one time I would have said Nirvana, but after hearing Pearl Jam's remake of Love, Reign O'er Me, I'd have to call it a tie.

Guns N' Roses or Motley Crue?:

    --Motley Crue. \\m//

Towers of London or Hardcore Superstar?:

--I'm starting to feel kinda bad that I don't know so many.

    Jimi Hendrix or Eric Clapton?:

--....Fuck, that's a hard one. I'd have to say Clapton, because Layla is a great song, but it's really close.

    Slipknot or Stone Sour?:

--Slipknot. I only like 2 Stone Sour songs that I've heard.

Faith No More or Rage Against The Machine?:

    --Rage Against the Machine.

    Oasis or Radiohead?:

    --Don't care for either.

    Sex Pistols or The Ramones?:

--Ugh. I really dislike punk, so neither. That's gonna get me flamed.

Less Than Jake or Reel Big Fish?:

    --Don't know either.

Limp Bizkit or Puddle of Mudd?:

--Limp Bizkit, but neither are that good.

Panic! At The Disco or Fall Out Boy?:

--Another really tough one. I'd have to say Panic, just because they're a lot better live.

    Anthrax or Slayer?:

    --Slayer.

    Rise Against or Anti-Flag?:

    --Don't know either.

    Hinder or Buckcherry?:

    My Chemical Romance or Lostprophets?:

    --My Chemical Romance.

    Linkin Park or Papa Roach?:

--A few years ago? Linkin Park by far. Now? Probably Papa Roach, but it's a close one.

    Avenged Sevenfold or Eighteen Visions?:

    --Avenged Sevenfold.

--Queens of the Stone Age, but I like both.

    The Verve or Coldplay?:

    --Neither.

    Avril Lavigne or Kelly Clarkson?:

--Clarkson, but Avril's cuter if she lets her hair stay dark.

  2. The only quest I've finished is the one

where you go into an Oblivion Gate to rescue some soldier, then you go into Kvatch itself and kill all of the demons.

The thing is video game crack. It started out incredible, then it just got overwhelming and I wanted to stop, but I felt like I had to keep playing. I finally just took it back to work.

  3. When I've played any Sims games, the time goes so fast that after taking care of my Sims' feeding, bathroom stuff, going to work, etc., there's no time to do anything else. How do you guys ever get the opportunity to use the stuff on the expansion packs?

  4. At the risk of being made fun of:

80's glam metal, before it became carbon-copy shit in the early 90's or so. It's over-the-top, it's theatrical, it's larger than life. That's what rock should be.

Motley Crue, Ratt, hell, even some of the bands that weren't so good that came along later were good.

Other than that, my taste is pretty random.

  5. I live in South Carolina, around four hours or so from Atlanta, and we have a fairly big hardcore/punk/metal scene here.

Of course, by big, I mean there are a lot of bands. That doesn't mean they're any good. Most of the ones I've seen all sound the same.

As for Atlanta specifically, I have no idea.

  6. I watched the first half last night. I thought it was pretty good, but it was late so I went to bed. Timberlake did much better than I thought he would(and I'm actually a fan, as open as that leaves me to flaming around here), but then, he's not really playing a thuggish character like a lot of people I've talked to seem to think from commercials(I work in a video rental store), but he's more like a goofy lackey. The "group" Timberlake is in in the movie remind me of the white kids from Havoc, in that they're mostly just pretending to be "gangsta," when they're really just spoiled rich kids.

  7. Skid Row - 18 and Life

Skid Row - I Remember You

    Aerosmith - Dream On

Bon Jovie - Wanted Dead or Alive

    Ratt - Wanted Man

    Cinderella - Nobody's Fool

Def Leppard - Bringin' On The Heartbreak

    Guns N Roses - Don't Cry

Guns N Roses - November Rain

    KISS - Beth

    Metallica - The Unforgiven II

    Motley Crue - You're All I Need

    Motley Crue - Glitter

Poison - Every Rose Has Its Thorn

Warrant - Heaven Isn't Too Far Away

Slaughter - Fly To The Angels

    Yes, I like 80's hair metal. <_<

  8. See the gimmick, KevinStorm, is that his raps really do suck but we encourage him and get him to post more because they are high-larious. Okay? Do you get it?
  9. ....It's not even on beat.

Please tell me this is a joke.

You're still new enough not to be frowned upon for that.

We all know that this kid is going somewhere!

I'm not evening going to lay down my usual challenge as it's never been accepted before. (Plus, I don't have a mic. at the moment).

  10. The entire Motley Crue show I saw in February of 2005. It was absolutely incredible, and they still sounded like it was 1989.

Also, Red Hot Chili Peppers a few months ago, I got chills during the opening(mainly a jam session leading into a song), and the encore, which was "Give It Away." The entire crowd was going absolutely insane. And they finished with another long jam session. Before the encore, when the lights were all out, the drunk guy in front of me held up his lighter, and I got a badass picture out of it.

  11. I reduced the resolution in the video options to its lowest, and the demo actually runs fairly smoothly now. I messed around with a game as Sicily last night for a while, but I can't afford to buy the game until I get paid on the 6th.

Sicily was fairly difficult though. It has very little money.

  12. I just tried the demo with my 1.79 Ghz AMD Turion, 128 MB video card, and 1 GB RAM, and it runs, but is so slow I gave up on the screen after clicking Single Player.

I guess the "1.9 Ghz" requirement isn't an overstatement. :(
