  1. Might as well ask this here instead of starting another thread.

I've sunk about 5 hours into Oblivion so far, and I'm trying the Unfair Competition(I think that's what it's called) side quest, but I'm completely out of lockpicks. This means I can't get dude's door unlocked to continue the quest.

Where can I find more lockpicks? I didn't think they'd be this difficult to find.

  2. Personally, I think Microsoft is making a habit of putting low-quality hardware in their consoles. I've heard a lot of stories(including my own) about the original XBox DVD-ROM crapping out and not reading discs after anywhere from 2 months to 2 years of use. A LOT of stories. What does Microsoft do? If it's still under warranty, they "fix" it(sometimes). If it's not under warranty, they charge anywhere from $60-$100, then tell the person they have to ship it to a service center where they will "fix" it(sometimes). I have also heard stories of people doing this two or three times, and their XBox is never fixed.

I always have been a Sony fan, and I don't see that changing. I only bought the XBox because it was relatively cheap and I wanted to play Sid Meier's Pirates(the NES version is far better, but I digress). I don't plan on buying a 360, and I do believe the PS3 will wipe the proverbial floor with the 360.

  3. World Heavyweight Title Match

Sting & Kevin Nash © vs. Randy Savage & Sid (w/Team Madness)

The wrestler who scores the pin or submission wins/retains the World Heavyweight Title.

Winner: Kevin Nash, possibly to go into a program with Sting, since you've been hyping up some tension between the two. At any rate, I think taking the belt off Nash could be a bad idea at this point.

    World Tag Team Title Match

Chris Benoit & Perry Saturn vs. Diamond Dallas Page & Bam Bam Bigelow © (w/Kanyon)

    Winner: Page and Bigelow

    Roddy Piper vs. Buff Bagwell

Winner: Bagwell, Piper is too damn old.

Ten Man Battle Royal: US Heavyweight Title Match

Participants: Booker T, The Cat, Chris Jericho, Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, Kanyon, Meng, Steven Regal, Stevie Ray, and a tenth man to be named

    Winner: The Tenth Entrant

Tenth Entrant: Bret Hart, because I have no idea.

    Eight-Man Tag Team Elimination Match

West Texas Rednecks vs. Konnan & Rey Mysterio, Jr. & Billy Kidman & Swoll

    Winner: Hennig

    World Television Title Match

Disco Inferno vs. Rick Steiner ©

    Winner: Disco

    Hardcore Match

Hugh Morrus (w/Jimmy Hart) vs. Hardcore Hak (w/Chastity)

    Winner: Hak

    Chavo Guerrero, Jr. vs. Psicosis

    Winner: Chavo

  4. Holy hell.

Ok, it took me a good 3 days to read all of this, because I'd be reading at like, 1-2 AM after work, but now that I've finished it all, holy hell it's awesome. I've been around EWB for a while, but I don't like to post much, but I just had to post a reply to this. I love this diary. Keep it up.

  5. (For those who wonder, I've been on EWB for a hell of a long time now, I just don't post as much anymore)

I've been trying desperately to get a band(I'm an ok vocalist), but I can't really find many musicians interested. I'm willing to perform just about anything, but as far as originals, I'm going for a gothic glam metal type of thing(think David Bowie, KISS, Marilyn Manson's Mechanical Animals album). I may have a guitarist and bassist, but drummers are hard to come by around here, or, at least drummers who aren't preppy assholes that only want to cover Marshall Tucker Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I haven't really found any musicians interested in what I'm going for. I want to be a rock star.

EDIT: Any interested people in upstate South Carolina can feel free to contact me.

    Like I said, I'm desperate. :)
