  1. Yes he has. It was on NBA live 2001 as memory serves me correct these are the people who have been on the cover for live Mitch Richmond - Live 97 Tim Hardaway - Live 98 Antoine Walker - Live 99 Tim Duncan - Live 2000 Kevin Garnet - Live 2001 Steve Francis - Live 2002 Jason Kidd - live 2003 Vince Carter - Live 2004
  2. Him as doc doom? Cool. He is a good actor to play a lead villan role. He once played a demon named 'Cole'(not michael cole) at some witch tv show thingy. I hope this fantastic four movie will be better than..ugh...the one I saw before.
  3. JC not staying as a Knick? I doubt it, cause in my view, what Isiah wants...he gets. Unless the person signs back to his team being he is a restricted free agent and tells Isiah 'up yours' and decline a trade. I think Thomas will make him something in the likes that he did to Artest when he was a coach in Indiana(or was he no longer the coach of the pacers when Artest entered?) I dunno....but I will see this season if he stays as a Knick or gets traded or something. Payton to Boston? Well...that was sure like a SWERVE to me. Didnt I hear he wanted to stay with the Lakers? Now they treat him like crap and trade him anyway? But hey whatever. Fox is back in Boston and he can do wonders now, there aint no Radja in Boston anymore..but so what? They got pierce, now they have Fox again. I think its gonna solidify Boston a bit and fill the void that Walker left. But will we see a renewed Laker-Celtics rivalry? That would be nice.
  4. I dont know if I shoul be pissed or glad to see J-Crawford gone in Chicago. This BETTER be not another scenario where in a traded Bull goes to the next season and becomes an all-star(Brad Miller) after two seasons, he becomes the defensive player of the year(Artest) and he still might be in a losing team, but still is doing wonders(Brand) If Chicago will get a good boost with Gordon and Deng and some added help from the 4 people who got traded in chicago. If Pipen plays healthy and opts not to retire yet, if Curry can FINALLY do some hard defense on the boards and if Chandler will stop doing sick bumps like he is HBK in the hardcourt and not risk injuring himself again, and if they actually make it to the playoffs...then its a good trade If Crawford becomes a key player in New York and the Bulls will still be in the lower area of the standings....then....DAMN YOU PAXSON!!! 18 million cant help you now. Unless theres a swreve somewhere.
  5. Hehehe...I guess Brown pulled a "scott skiles' on the three guys. Now it makes sense to me. I thought they got drunk or something. Man I swear AI looked well...somethin else on that pic of him sitting on the bench at yahoo sports
  6. I heard that Brown benched LeBron, Iverson and Amare....but what is his reason for benching them anyway? I mean sure, it was an easy win, but I wanted to see LeBron play in that matchup.
  7. Damn! I wonder how THIS Paxson makes his team good with these good kinds of trades. Hell I like that. He got Gooden and Hunter. They were two of the most promising players in Orlando last season in my view. To me, those two were the next best players next to T-Mac and Howard. I see the Magic sending Gooden for Battie but, Hunter? I think Steven Hunter still can develop and become a force to be reckoned with in the Orlando Frontcourt. But Orlando's loss is the Cavs gain. Battie is good at the D game but then again, Orlando is a team on a change. So maybe his type of game might be a good mix. I still say it was The Cavs who got the better deal in this one...well unless the draft picks the Magic will get in the next draft in the 2nd round from the caves makes a surprisingly good impact in their first season on the NBA.
  8. Detroit just signed Ronald Dupree to a two year deal. This is a guy who WAS with them in the rookie training camp yet he was undrafted in the 2003 draft. It seemed as if Detroit gave up on him. He spent a few months on the minor leagues before the Bulls signed him last season. He made one solid contribution to Chicago and I hope he finds a good place in Detroit. So in the end, Dupree is back in Detroit after they cut him last October of 2003. Hope he stays longer in the motor city this time.
  9. Thankgod I aint the only Luke Walton fan here. Yeah I think its teams Like the Lakers and the Celtics where people want to be due to their history and tradition. Though I am not sure about the Celtics this decade. Since from the start they have been one of the most dominating teams in the History of the NBA. I cant wait to see yet another Celtic-Laker rivalry soon. But I think it wont happen this season, but then again we may never know. In other news, damn I wonder what Fisher can contribute to the Warriors. Van Exel is already there so I aint sure what Fisher can help the Warriors with instead of very good shooting from the perimeter.
  10. What are you talking about man? I thought Kobe ALREADY has a right hand man....Luke Walton? Ok that sounds weird but hey he plays good.
  11. I do think the Lakers will have the power to go to the playoffs this coming season. Even though they have not much of a chance to win this season right now, I dunno maybe, just maybe they can ATLEAST make it to the semis this coming season. As for the NY/Chicago deal. I think it wont happen since I havent heard a thing for the Crawford deal. It seems like Paxson thinks they will get the crap end of the deal. (what can you expect for a possible scenario of you sending Crawford and 2 high salary contracts for Anderson, Norris and 3 expiring contracts?) K-Mart to Nuggets? Damn, there goes the Nets hope for the NBA championship.
  12. Rudy T as the lakers coach? Well that can work wonders next season. I am sure he can lead him into the playoffs at best. But I am not sure if he can co-exist with some of his players. But still that is a good news for LA. And it gives them more hope for next season.
  13. John and Jim Paxson are brothers. Or so I heard. Funny that there both GM in the NBA. Boozer? Nah I think he made a wise choice, he gets a bigger amount of money on a team that is interested in him. Not taht I say Jim Pax isnt interested in retaining him. The Chicago-Knicks sign and trade talks are still underway. Man...stuff like this makes me think that the Cavs will have more of a chance to make it to the playoffs this coming season than the Bulls. But then again I might be wrong. So whatever then, I'll see in november. Wow atleast the Bobcats look very good in their summer league game against the Wolves. But still..its the SUMMER LEAGUE. I am anticipating what the new team in the NBA has in store for the rest of the league this coming season.
  14. Yeah I think Cuban has a soft spot for foreign players who are good at perimeter shots. But I am not sure if the addition of Stackhouse and Christian L will fill in the void for Dallas after Jamison and Nash left. Sure I believe they can still make it to the playoffs next season. But winning it, I dunno. Its still hard to tell since its July and the season opener is in NOV, while the pre-season is in OCT. Well in other news, New York Knicks and Isiah Thomas are trying to get Bulls Guard Jamal Crawford who is a restricted free agent in his current team. it is not yet sure if J-Crawford will go to NYC or stay in the windy city that already has 2 new guards after the draft. If he stays in Chicago, chances are his playing time will be shortened. But the other thing is, he brings more experience on the floor for Chicago than the other guards excluding Kendal Gill(if he miraculously stays there and be of better use in the next season.) If he goes to New York, the knicks will have an improved backcourt in the next season as Houston will return on the floor after the injury he suffered last season. But hell, in my case, good for Thomas, he is thinking realisticly and realizes that Kobe, O'Neal and Rasheed are out of his reach. This free agent market thing is a land of opportunities for his team. But I just hope Crawford stays in Chicago...I dunno...I just want him to My opinion of the Houston-Orlando blockbuster trade. I think Houston will have their hands tied here. I mean they have to create a positive chemistry between T-Mac and Yao. Sure they are 2 great players, but they still need to learn to work together on the floor. Well in the Orlando side of things, it seems like they finally have a very good backcourt with 2 great guards (mobley and Francis) but will their No.1 pick Dwight Howard be a factor in a possible season success for the Magic as well? I am still waiting to find out. Okur? Well if he leaves Detroit, he is a very good catch to any team that signs him on. He is a tall guy, who I know can manage to shoot a 3-pointer(a white version of Sam Perkins...oh wait....I think thats Dirk already....) and is also a good rebounder. I dunno but I think he will stick with Detroit even though his minutes might get cut down. Kobe, he will stay in LA no doubt, unless he is guilty and will get sentenced in prison for a long time which will be sad news. I hope he aint guilty of anythin crime like. Shaq? Meh, wherever he goes, I hope he will find a happy place, and I dont mean Orlando....unless he has plans of interest in returning there. What about the Bobcats, sorry I dunno.....was there any expansion team within the 1970s-1990s that got into the playoffs in their first season with the NBA?
  15. Well gotta hand it to Paxson, if he cant get a god small forward veteran...pick 3 players into the Bulls. Sure they have the winning attitude, I just hope they can survive the harsh NBA environment, especially the losing attitude of their new team. I cant believe Washington trading Stackhouse, Laettner and Devin Harris to Dallas for Antawn Jamison. I dunno but I think they just gave Dallas the upperhand there in the trade, or maybe they just wanted stack gone.
  16. Yeah I heard the T-Mac thing on Chicago since the playoffs, they are in need of 'role-players' who actually can deliver. But Shaq, thats new, but seeing they are centering on Curry and trying to develop him, I think the Bulls getting O'neal is unlikely. But coming from a team trading off Brad Miller to let Curry shine, then put Davis to help him take off some of the load, I'm not so sure if they will or will not.
  17. Well we should learn one thing from the event of Shaq's request for a trade. Mitch Kupchak should have shut his mouth and Shaq could have stayed with the lakers instead of being likely traded this coming off-season or...draft day? As for T-Mac getting traded, I dunno...but whatever Orlando is planning to get in exchange for T-Mac, good luck in ripping of one of 29 other teams in the NBA(that goes for Charlotte too. Sorry I didnt read the expansion draft rules. D-Extreme = ignorant fool) In the world of Chicago - its almost certain that Paxson(John, not Jim) is planning to use the thrid pick Chicago has to trade it to a team. In recent weeks people are thinking they will give it to Atlanta since Atlanta is high on Howard and will make a trade to the top 3 teams on the draft. On a matter...that doesnt need to matter at all - Marcus Fizer is seen on Wrigley wearing bulls uniform. He is an obvious choice for Charlotte to select from Chicago in the expansion. Is Fizer showing Bulls pride all the way to the end of his tenure? This poster says, YES. All I am wondering is, what position is LA propsing Jackson to take after quitting the coaching job? Anyone have any idea what position they will ask him to take in the Lakers management?
  18. HEY! Greg Anthony did NOTHING to you!!! *shakes fist* Anyways, I knew it was gonna suck for LA...cause the Pistons will win. But hey atleast we will hear the end of 'LA lost cause they still dont have the drive' thing. Now lets get back to Chicago where we visit Pippen and his broken knee. I hear his yatch just got cleaned Man Chauncey was the MVP eh? Well there is something for a man who got traded almost every season he played until landing on his current team to give them the title. He deserves the Finals MVP thingy. Shaq for Hill???.....sorry man Hill might injure himself again. Kobe for T-Mac now THATS something I would love to see Congrats Pistons, Motor City has been hungry for this title since the last 14 years
  19. Yeah Fox is an average defender that can stop Sheed in a few occasions which the Lakers need to. And further more, Rick Fox has a good 3-pt shooting ability that I hope the Lakers can utilize when he gets in the game soon. But right now, it seems the game is about to start....AFTER the fat lady sings.
  20. In detroit?...oh damn, now that suck for the Lakers. [EDIT] nah just playing around, never been to chicago, but I wish I did. That and the other 49 states of America.
  21. *waves hands in the air* YOOOHOOOO!!! I"M STILL HERE BIG BOOOOOOOOOOY! Ok seriously, this game I just hope the Lakers atleast take this win. And I think they can since hell, its their homecourt. Now it would SUCK if they lost the game and the series in their homecourt. But if they do, boy will Jack be furious.
  22. Weekdays - Its always got to do with the no. 6 I dunno but I usually enjoy watching The Simpsons every 6 PM in my TV during the weekdays. And every 6AM i watch connan o brien Wednesdays - WWE RAW and a bit of those fraiser re-runs. Its 2 days late RAW...but still Its ok with me. Fridays - A day late, SmackDown! and star tv's NWA:TNA. And my favorite show of all..VELOCITY!
  23. when references...I hope they mean 'Maurice Chaves' will be mentioned. Or more so, I hope he hosts that VCPR thing here again or maybe it will be called 'SAPR' something. The map being bigger than the last game looks promising. The food thing, well, I just hope the character WILL gain a look when he gets fat or something like that.
  24. I know I am not so certain about anything. I am not sure if Detroit will make an upset and win the series. I am not sure if the Lakers will go 2001 up Detroit's ass and get the next 4 games. I am not SURE that Jackson will coach next year with LA or in any other team. But the only thing I am sure is, this year's finals series is way better than last years. Now if they will only show shots of Jack Nicholoson watching the game in the LA arena, shouting something interesting or do something interesting then this series would be all complete IMO.
  25. It seems to me that game one showed that the Pistons took LA by surprise. The usual laker offense strategy had a hard time busting out of the Piston's defense. Hell even if they tried a different route, the Pistons still made a lot of stops. But I thought Lakers had this game since Detroit had a lot of turn overs in teh first half of the game. They really wrapped up the game in the last 2 qtrs. Detroit got this one, but hey The Lakers lost a couple of Game ones in the finals, but STILL won the series. In others words, they lost tonight, but they still are the odds on favorite to win the series. So unless the Pistons are consistent with their defense, The Lakers will win this year.
