Disney has lost a lot of it's charm. Watching old 1940's - 60's Disney cartoons, I found them to be much better then some of the stuff they have produced in the past 15 years.

I watched Shitbata against that Mayhem guy. Just a terrible fight. I keep saying Shitbata needs to go back to wrestling, but he is just so fucking moronic, that I hope he stays in MMA and gets the crap beaten out of him for the rest of his 'career'. Just god-awful. Watching Daisuke Nakamura vs that Korean guy. So far a fun fight. I don't usually like MMA, as I find it inherently boring, but this match seems to be okay. Nice matwork and some quick exchanges. It sounded worked on the play-by-play notes. And Nakamura winning makes me happy in the pants. U-STYLE wins again!

I watched Tamura vs Funaki. Tamura was really annoyed by it. Funaki went down, Tamura went to finish the fight quickly, and the referee was late getting in to stop it. Tamura hates striking, and has even pushed a referee before for stopping a fight late, when he was flurrying blows down. Funaki had some nice strikes, but he would have been better off returning in Puroresu then in MMA.

I agree with the Funaki sentiment. Tamura was never an MMA fighter. He doesn't care for it, and after DSE fucked him over, can you blame him for not caring? I think he cares about the Funaki fight though. He even held a talkshow at the recent U-STYLE event, talking about how both are fighters of the UWF Style, and reminiscing.

Peoples thoughts on Kiyoshi Tamura vs Masakatsu Funaki For me, a dream match in the wrong setting. Worked, I would have flown to Japan to see it. But still, one of the few matches that could make me care about MMA. It wouldn't surprise me if they have an agreement to keep striking minimal, since pretty boy Tamura doesn't like face strikes. Here's hoping this leads to Tamura/Funaki or Tamura/Sakuraba in U-STYLE! So unlikely though. Stupid DSE ruining everything 3 years ago.

Don't hear much about Howl's, but I reckon it was a fabulous effort. The whole moving castle animation is amazing.

I finally got around to watching Tales from Earthsea... It was noticably different to other Ghibli movies, more-so for the build then anything. I was royally confused with what was going on and who was who until about half way through the movie. There was very little character development to begin with, and it was like... okay this makes no sense. Why is he doing this, that makes no sense. BAH! Then the whole dark side and light side which only came up to the final part of the movie, was just so unimportant it was not funny. Confusing. Still Ghibli, so it is an obligation to love it... but I do so begrugingly.

I'm trying to go through and unlock all the characters. Some of them are just ridiculous. GAME AND WATCH man for instance. Fucking hell.

Been playing heaps as MetaKnight now. He is so fun. Ice Climbers -> Metaknight -> Kirby -> Link Those are the four I have been playing as mostly.

I just bought the game (American version, because the fucking Aussie version doesn't come out til December) and had to get a pre-loader with it. Lulz will be had tonight. Epic lulz.

I have a question, which... this is probably not the best place for it. But EBG, what do you think of PANCRASE? Is it shunned against in the MMA community? It was pretty much 90% worked before 1998, but does that make it completely shunned from the community? I guess the same thing could be asked about RINGS, as that only went 'legit' in the early 00's (then closed). To be honest, early PANCRASE was so much fun to watch. I loved it, and have never been able to find any other MMA stuff to catch my appeal since. But as I said... the majority was worked... sooo. There is fuck all anime being released here in Australia recently. It's all the poppy girly shit, which teenage boys use as porn since X Rated porn is illegal here. At least, in a weeks time, they are playing My Neighbour Totoro on a big barge on the foreshore for the International Arts Festival. Such a wonderful movie.

Which TMGE albums would be good to start out with? I had some of their stuff once, but I never really got around to listening to it. Gear Blues. It was their first album to go International. I have every song they have ever done, including their unreleased stuff... soo... yeah And the Sex Machine Guns are a bit meh.
