  1. Long Shot was in two installments of Madden, but I did love it. I've tried playing WWE 2k20 but it's just really not fun. Was for a very short time,  but even the MyPlayer mode I have no interest in playing after the second match.

  2. It's a bummer they ruined the control scheme. I like some of the ideas like the originals, but they're so blandly put in. Universe is worse than ever seemingly. Was trying to grind through to at least play Career but have no real desire.

So at what point in the Assassin's Creed series to they realize that literally nobody cares about the present day bits?

Tue modern day stuff in Origins and Oddyssey have been really cool. I liked the stuff with Desmond a lot too.

  4. How in the world do you cash in MITB during Universe?  I try mid match but it's always grayed out!

Also, random note but I'm pretty sure in development somehow they gave Carmella a caveman entrance and not hers.

  5. I found a deluxe edition being sold on Amazon for $40 so bought it. And I'm quickly realizing I probably won't play it much. I hate the changes to the control scheme. Triangle to reverse is so weird and feels very unnatural.

Quite annoying to make this all-time great single player experience and then just abandon it completely after the fact.

I don't recall any backlash at all when God Of War did the exact same thing, but I've seen a lot of anger for RDR2 for it.

I've played and generally enjoyed most of them over time but there's always been problems. Things like far too many collectables, repetitive side quests (not an AC problem but gaming one that) and extra things to do which makes burn out a problem with the games. The animus, precursors and all of the modern day stuff is the worst misstep to me. Not only does it over complicate things (I think the assassins/templars never ending war should be enough myself...) but the "run around a location for 10 minutes to read an email or two then go back to the fun story" bits just drag. It's been there since the beginning so I would love to know why they felt the games needed that framing device.

You haven't had to do any of that in quite some time. I think since Unity. I don't recall Syndicate having any of that nor the games following. But I'll agree those parts were frustrating.
