  1. In my Universe where I drafted with Reflecto, Andre The Giant won the UK Championship from Pete Dunne about 6 months in and has not lost the championship for almost three years. I finally decided OK, next time he defends I'm taking it so had a hellacious back and forth match and finally beat him after 4 power slams from the British Bulldog. Kinda fitting for him to win the UK Championship!

  2. Just set a Money In The Bank match to watch/sim as I knew if I just simmed it the winner would be obvious. Matches like this, Rumble, and Chambers I let Universe choose participants. Anyway... Baron Corbin, Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, Ric Flair, Dolph Ziggler, and Sin Cara were the participants. I didn't pay attention and did chores and errands while it played. Turns out Tony Nese won it! Now I don't know if he should go after Universal Champion Samoa Joe, WWE Champion Chris Jericho, or NXT Champion Lars Sullivan. This kind of stuff is why I live the randomness in Universe.

  3. I see mixed opinions on it but I personally love the reversal limits. Just had an epic match in my Universe at WrestleMania. Defended the IC championship as Seth Rollins against Samoa Joe. Lasted about 20 minutes. So much fun! Later in the show I had another really fun match as Ted DiBiase against AJ Styles.

I've had my original PS4 since launch, and I've said since the Pro came out that I'd upgrade if mine broke down, but wouldn't bother otherwise. Now that we're even closer to the next generation it seems like an even smarter move. Just hoping my console holds out for that long. Haven't had a single issue with it yet, either.

I'm in the same boat. Even though some times it sounds like it's about ready to blast off.

  5. Blackjack isn't too much of a grind, luck pending. You can do pretty big bets and it's a lot quicker than poker. Plus I genuinely enjoyed drinking a glass of wine or two and playing blackjack. Stops me going to the real casino which I'm trying to ease up on. At the same time though this game is not helping with trying to quit chewing.

  6. I still play and am SS18+ also. Got some reason the Gooker fusion isn't letting me drop ingredients. I took a break after season two started and couldn't remember my old logins and now wish I had all the retro card faces. Ah well.

  7. Playing the Daniel Bryan story now, I forgot how epic his matches and moment at WrestleManoa XXX was. In my match with Triple H it was a war, but ended with him completely bloodied and it led to such an awesome visual of a battered HHH stalking Bryan and during the comebacks seeing Daniel beating up a bloody Triple H. Really made it even better.

  8. Personally I don't even have time to play the games I have now, and with the ever-growing backlog I definitely don't have time to revisit anything. As much as I wish I could. Yearly sports releases, of any genre I don't think are really intended to ever be Game of the Year candidates. I was excited for Fire Pro with all the hype everyone had given it, but it's very much even more limiting than the WWE games that it's supposed to be an alternative to. For the price tag, I sincerely don't think I've gotten my money worth and probably won't. At least with WWE, even if it is same old shit with a different paint job, at least the graphics are amazing and I get to play as my favorites. Even if Universe is flawed, and it is, it's still fun. I've never had any game breaking issues with is, even if a feud means they wrestle every week for months. Hell, as annoying as it is it's accurate to real life. Regarding Almas not being in last year, I remember something I read on here saying he requested to not be in the game if I recall correctly. And yeah it sucks that they took out Ciampa and Kendrick, but it is what it is. If that's the deal breaker for you, don't buy the game. But I dare say the vast majority probably won't.

I don't remember what game it was but a while back in the career mode I remember you'd wrestle in gyms against total randomized CAW types. That was fun. You'd face some people who looked normal and some were just outlandish. And the names were random too I'm pretty sure. Wish they'd do that again.

  9. I don't get that this needs to be enjoyable for years down the line for the $60 price tag. I'm enjoying Fire Pro right now but honestly I'm already getting burnt out because it's so limited. Most games I play for a few weeks to a month anyway. We loved and praised God Of War unanimously but once I beat it I can't honestly say I'm planning on going back. With this, personally I can't see myself dedicating a lot of time right away with Assassins Creed aaaaaaand Red Dead both coming out too. But it's a WWE game, and I love WWE and their games and have never felt like I didn't get mut money's worth.
