  1. NFC East has parity, but none of them are going to win the Super Bowl i'd guess. I mean if you wanted to know the most balanced division, they are probably it, witht he AFC East also showing a lot more parity now that the Pats have slowed down a little.
  2. He could do pretty good with Koivu and Kovalev. In theory.
  3. He's also really hard to find pics of on the internet. That crazy freelance photographer.
  4. I didn't mean closetst, I meant the best teams. This clearly eliminates every NFC division Oh, and I meant NFC West, not AFC West.
  5. So you all hated Kent Swanson than? Screw you bastards Oh, and I remember you being able to activate an arrow which can point you towards "Scoops" and such.
  6. PS2 would win, it's got more street cred.
  7. To change the topic a little... Which do you think is the best conference in the NFL? I can't really decide, but I know the worst one is the AFC West. Just horrible.
  8. Exactly^ I'd say Utah would make a greta additon. It's a big school, has been routinely top level the last few years... it's not like these Mid-Majors can't compete. Louisville was near the top fo the Big East the year after moving up from the C-USA. These things take time, but eventually the school's would get good enough to be threats. Frankly, I think Fresno would have a winning record this year, and certainly with some past teams.
  9. I agree with Benji, Kingdom Heats disturbs me in ways I don't even understand.
  10. Bingo. The WAC is real top heavy, with Nevada, Fresno & Boise being pretty good programs, while some of them are just horrible (See: Idaho). Still, it's better than the MAC where the parity is so strong it's hurting them as nobody can pull far enough ahead to get a high ranking. They seem to be on a downswiing since Marshall left. The year Ben was at Miami they were a very hot conference... not so much anymore. At the very least it seems like every year a solid QB comes out fo their, and they have produced a good group of NFL starters too (Pennington, Leftwich, Big Ben, Frye, ect...) As for the Mountain West, I think it's a tad overrated (Although Utah & TCU could easily be in BCS conferences) but if there was a combination with the top WAC school's, they could easily rival the Big East, and in a few years be right up there with the Big Ten's & SEC's.
  11. I'm just saying it's a lame fact. It doesn't help that I hate the Ravens
  12. The best name for a football team ever would be "Soccer FC". It would take real balls to have that in England.
  13. Am I the only one who finds Kent Swanson underrated? He's such a bad ass
  14. The main argument i have for the Ravens is who did they beat? Tampa Bay, who are clearly nowhere near as good as last year. They have been crap so far, and seem to have taken a step backwards. Oakland? Are you kidding? I'm sorry, but Oakland just suck this year. Com eback on week 4, beat the Chargers, and than we will see if the Ravens are "Super Bowl" good.
  15. Yeah, the Big East really needs to shape up. They should just move West Virginia and Louisville to good conferences (Or have them replace teams like Duke & Baylor) and just make it another Mid-Major. It'll give an extra at large bid which is good because A) It helps Mid-Major programs and B) The BCS school's would likely get it anyways. I still don't think the WAC, MAC or Mountain West are good enough to earn an auto-bid, but having the extra at large would certainly increase their chances of grabbing one. At least they have the two extra one's now.
  16. It couldn't have been a conference championship, they aren't in the same conference. Although I haven't watched College Football for very long, so they might have been back than.
  17. Vinny isn't that slow But yeah, it's far to early to judge things this year. Teams are still getting used to each other, and I suspect by week 5 or 6 we will start to see the real teams rise, while the pretenders fall. There are always teams that start off 5-0, than completly die to end the season.
  18. I recognized 3 names, which I suppose is a feat. Not 3 impressive names, but still.
  19. Baltimore won't win the North, McNair is one hit away from being crippled again. Even with him, I still don't think they are good enough to beat Cincy or Pittsburgh. Jacksonville is underrated, but you have to realize Ben wasn't at 100%, and it was hardly a dominating win. The Steelers D was solid, and I suspect Ben will be back to form soon enough.
  20. While in a crappy conference, I am very impressed with Louisville so far this year. I've always thought they were a great team (Especially for the Big East) but a win like that against Miami is going to be a big boost for them. Hosting West Virginia could be a huge game, as I don't see either team losing to anyone but the other. I'd dare to say the winner of that game could be in the National title game. Auburn and USC going undefeated with their schedules is hard to beleive, and Michigan probably won't beat Ohio State, not on the road. I'm calling Ohio State vs. Louisville/West Virgnia right now. Oh, and TCU needs to start really pummeling their opponents if they want to get a BCS birth. 12-3 isn't enough, even against a ranked team. As for UCLA, they could get into the BCS, but its hard to see it happening. Beating Oregon, Notre Dame, Arizona State & Cal on the road is a VERY tough schedule. It could work to their advantage if they can pull off all those wins though, but it seems almost impossible to me. Oh, and you can't forget USC, even at home. Oh, and Boise State looks more like the scoring machine of two or three years ago than ever. Wyoming was a poor win, but if they play like they did against Oregon State, they could compete with any team in the country. Utah should be an important game if they hope to get into the BCS.
  21. If the Habs don't stop retiring numbers, they are going to run out Thank god they haven't had anyone good for the last 10 years, so there is no threat of losing numbers down the road.
