  1. I'm not a big fan of taunting, but I can understand why a player does it. It can frustrate a defense into making a mistake, and frankly players get really pumped up after big plays (Sacks, TD's, INT's, ect...) and they like to celebrate. It's better than seeing the emotionless robots that the NHL provide.
  2. I see New England vs. New Orleans. They are the more solid teams, and won't have the "QB" issues that could rise in Indianapolis and Chicago. Not to say it couldn't easily go the other way, all four teams could reach the final.
  3. I'm not being superior about anything. I just find it funny that the Rvanes lost. I don't like them (We are, you know, division rivals) and their faliure amuses me. It's Art Modell's fault. That fucking prick.
  4. I'm a Steelers fan, but it's kind of irrelevant, looks like neither of us are going to win a Super Bowl, eh Be? Priceless.
  5. Hahahahahaha. I just... Hahahahahaha. Can we call New England vs. San Diego the AFC championship game now?
  6. The best part is the commentator acting like it was some sort of badass fight. Definitly one of the best fights i've ever seen.
  7. Punch-Out is clearly awesome incarnate.
  8. Yeah, I found Davis was pretty solid in the games I saw him in. Combined with a solid running game a great Tight End could be deadley.
  9. Ohio State looked REALLY flat tonight. It's no excuse, but that was not the same team that went undefeated before that game. They just seemed a step slower. A really off game for them, which was helped by Florida probably playing their best game of the year. I'd still love to see Boise State get a shot. Too bad it will never happen because Mid-Majors will never get a legitimate shot at a National Title. Boise State for 2035 National Title
  10. The Lions don't need a QB, they need O-Line help. I see the Raiders drafting a QB (Probably Quinn, because it makes no sense) but if Troy Smith falls to the Browns and they don't take him... well it won't be a pretty picture.
  11. I don't know, i'd say he produced consistantly great teams for around 15 years, had multiple division titles and lead his team to two Super Bowls. I'd say he was one of the greatest coaches ever, and not just because I am a Steelers fan Still sucks to see him go, but I am sure they will find someone good to replace him for the next 15 years
  12. Yeah, Brady Quinn sucks. I said this a long time ago. He's still going to be drafted insanely high though, because he 'went to a major school' is a 'Notre Dame QB' and he is great at losing to big time programs. He sure can beat up Navy though.
  13. Must see for any football fan period. It's a huge step for Mid-Majors. As big as Utah winning was, this is so much more. Pittsburgh is no Oklahoma.
  14. Wildcard: Kansas City Chiefs def. Indianapolis Colts - The Colts look weaker this year than ever, and we all know their history the last few seasons. KC is building a little momentum, and you know Larry Johnson can run all over them. Seattle Seahawks def. Dallas Cowboys - Seattle is home, and Dallas is falling apart. I knew people were jumping on Romo too quick, although it's not entirely his fault really. New York Jets def. New England Patriots - The Jets are a good playoff team, at least the last few years. They have won at least one game every year Pennington has played, and that was when he was hurt. I see them pulling off the upset, because there is bound to be one at some point. Philadelphia Eagles def. New York Giants - The Giants pounded Washington, but Philly is still the hottest team in the NFC right now. Divisional: New York Jets def. Baltimore Ravens - As I said much earlier this year, I don't feel the Ravens will win a playoff game. It's not only because I hate their guts either, the team just doesn't feel right to me. San Diego Chargers def. Kansas City Chiefs - San Diego is the team to beat, and KC doesn't have enough. Could be close though. New Orleans Saints def. Philadelphia Eagles - Should be the best NFC game this post-season. Hard to think I would EVER Pick Seattle and New Orleans for an NFC finals, but here we are. Seattle Seahawks def. Chicago Bears - Rex Grossman. I don't really have much more to add. Conference: San Deigo Chargers def. New York Jets - Too much to deal with, and the Jets run ends here. New Orleans Saints def. Seattle Seahawks - The Saints are a better team, and whoever win sbetween them and Philly will probably be Super Bowl bound. Super Bowl: San Deigo Chargers def. New orleans Saints - It'll be depressing after all of the hurricane katrina footage, but San Deigo outclasses this team big time. As you can see, I predict a somewhat 'easy' road for the Chargers, but they earned it. That's what finishing #1 gets you.
  15. Wow. Boise State vs. Oklahoma was, in my mind, one of the greatest games I have ever seen. It had so much drama, than the trick plays and the whole underdog feel. I love it.
  16. Neither Flutie or Moon were chokers, and had either been on the Colts in their respective primes, they would have won a Super Bowl. Dan Marino would have too, his teams were terrible.
  17. Why is Tony Romo on the team? He only started like half the year. God the NFC is terrible.
  18. Hahaha, that reference about Bret Hart by Zero is awesome. Bret Hart with a tie on = Ratings
  19. Raiden looks like a robot Emo Kid. Still, game looks good.
  20. Maybe he has a bad reputation because he is spitting on other players?
  21. Northern Illinois vs. TCU - It'll be interesting to see how Wolf plays, but TCU is a better team overall. BYU vs. Oregon - This should be a pretty good game. A strong Mid-Major and a good Major. I'll pick BYU since they have tons of momentum right now. Rice vs. Troy - There are probably some jokes here. Still, it's nice to see small schools getting a shot, and one of them will actually win a bowl. Scary. South Florida vs. East Carolina - USF seems to be getting better every year. New Mexico vs. San Jose State - San Jose State hopefully caps off a surprise season with a bowl win. Tulsa vs. Utah - Should be good, but I have no preference/clue who will win. Hawaii vs. Arizona State - The Warriors have been playing good offense. Arizona State is sort of just around. Middle Tennessee vs. Central Michigan - CMU seems like the better team. Florida State vs. UCLA - UCLA will be flying high after their upset. Oklahoma State vs. Alabama - I like Oklahoma State more. Texas A&M vs. California - They have been good this year. Rutgers vs. Kansas State - They should be able to handle the Wildcats Clemson vs. Kentucky - Kentucky is in a bowl game? Oregon State vs. Missouri - Man, I look like I really hate the big 12. South Carolina vs. Houston - Kevin Kolb <3 Texas Tech vs. Minnesota - Now the Big 12 can get off my back. Purdue vs. Maryland - Who cares? Navy vs. Boston College - This should be interesting. I like Navy. Probably a gay joke in there somewhere. Texas vs. Iowa - Texas should win. Georgia vs. Virginia Tech - I am running out of reasons. I just like red more. Miami vs. Nevada - Miami will win, eventhough I like Nevada more. Bastards. Tennessee vs. Penn State - Penn State is good in big games. Or something like that. Auburn vs. Nebraska - Two big schools. Yay? West Virginia vs. Georgia Tech - This should be a good game, if Georgia Tech can slow down WVU a bit. Arkansas vs. Wisconsin - Should be a fantastic game. USC vs. Michigan - See above. Both of these teams have different reasons to want to win. I think Michigan is better though. Boise State vs. Oklahoma - Well, it's not like anyone else in this thread is going to pick them right? Louisville vs. Wake Forest - Louisville will win, but I am happy to see Wake Forest here. Notre Dame vs. LSU - Notre Dame hasn't impressed me at all. I also just don't like them. Brady Quinn will suck in the NFL. Western Michigan vs. Cincinnati - Could actually be a good game. Ohio vs. Southern Miss - Hard to believe Oiho is in a bowl game. Florida vs. Ohio State - I would be stunned if they lost. I mean just, totally stunned.
  22. They also had a long history witht he league, a strong fan base, and their owner is clearly just another greedy asshole (See: Art Modell) so yeah, they do deserve a team. That said, they were retarded not taking Bush, and Young speaks for himself. The Titans aren't that good a team, but they are winning because Vince Young can do that for them. In addition, he's like a god in Texas. He's a scrambler who throws, but more important is he is a winner. The guy is just great. Oh, and Bush showed why he should have been picked by his displays against San Fran and Dallas, and he's not even starting. Not to say Mario Willaims couldn't become a great player, but I don't see him ever matching up to Vince Young & Reggie Bush.
  23. Old Bucs uniforms. Very upsetting.
