  1. Ugh. I knew things weren't good when Quantrall came in, after letting up Ortiz's homerun last night.

    1st and 2nd, 0 0ut. :(. Come on Yanks...

EDIT: Bahahahaha. Nevermind, Johnny Damon continues to be awful...

but Posada made a stupid play there. If he let the ball drop there are 2 outs instead of 1....

  2. I think the Yankees sucked everyone in. Hook, line and sinker. They let themselves become the underdog in this series. They let Schilling and everyone one associated with the BoSox run their mouthes untill it came time to play the series and they let their actions speak. The olmen of Mike Mussina, who hadn't won a Game 1 start as a Yankee retiring the first 19 Red Sox should have been evident. Moral is, never bet against the Yankees cuz, they are the FUCKING NEW YORK YANKEES

    And it makes me ill

  3. Preliminary results of the autopsy performed on Ken Caminiti show that the former National League MVP died of a drug overdose, a New York City police source told ESPN's Jeremy Schaap.

Caminiti, 41, reportedly collapsed in a Bronx apartment on Sunday and was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital. His agent, Rick Licht, said at the time Caminiti died of a heart attack.

The medical examiner's office performed the autopsy on Monday, but a spokesperson for the medical examiner said Thursday that no official cause of death would be announced until the completion of a toxicology report, which could take up to 10 days.

Caminiti battled drug and alcohol problems during his 15-year major-league career. In May 2002, he told Sports Illustrated he used steroids during his career.

On Tuesday, Newsday (N.Y.) reported that Caminiti was "depressed" and "edgy," and wanted to talk about "life, love and everything," during the last half day of his life, according to Rob Silva, a 35-year-old ex-con from Brooklyn, who had met Caminiti about a year and a half ago.

Just last week, he admitted in a Houston court that he violated his probation by using cocaine last month, and was sentenced to 180 days in jail.

Caminiti's big-league career ended in 2001. He was a three-time All Star third baseman and a unanimous pick for MVP in 1996 when he led the San Diego Padres to the division series.

  4. Definitely some interesting theories. taking the most successful angle in wrestling history and doing that with it

    Few things:

I doubt many fans of WCW would really recognize Shane Douglas as The Franchise. If anything, he's the Dynamic Dude. The WCW fan of 1996 is VERY different than the one from 1992. And Ric Flair was the World Wrestling Federation Champion in September 1992

And DDP was barely above jobber status in July 1996. He had just won Battle Bowl and main eventing wasnt even a hint

Think about it Schivone.. Page could be the brains of it all! He has managed both of the Outsiders in WCW!
  5. He was one of the top 3B in the NL during the 90s. Then just 3 years out of the game his life falls apart due to drugs and steroids. I hope this serves a major wakeup call to Major League Baseball to get some real steroid reform on its books as the Steve Bechler death did w/Ephedra
