  1. This year Is good for me, as Harrogate Town, my local team, could get into the Third Round . CMON TOWN!
  2. I never did the card games. As a matter of fact I never Grind at all on FF games, unless im pretty stuck on it and the enemy kills me in 2/3 hits, like that bastard boss on FFXIII. I've gone off that game, now I just need to find a emulated version of FFVIII that actually works and I will be happy
  3. I didn't really like FFIX, just didn't connect with the Characters well and it wasn't that good of a game (imo). I, like alot of people, prefer VII and VIII. I do like VIII a bit more though, Squall and his antics .
  4. Worst thing is, I never grind up levels on games, but I think I might need to. On a FF site it said an easy way to win is to keep healing Hope, and it works for about a minute, until Odin hits a few combos.
  5. I recently got back to playing FF13 after a short break (of which at the time I started again I didn't know why I stopped). But then 5mins into the game I realised why I ragequitted. I was at the part where you fight Odin (I think). Its just with Lightning and Hope and it just destroys me in like 10 seconds. I looked at a guide and tried doing what it says but still I get raped every single time. I think I might be underlevelled but it's so annoying. Whats the best Combo to go with three members/ The combo that you go as alot? I usually go with Lightning , Hope as the Medic & Sazh/Snow. Not Sure which Paradigms to use to better them though.
  6. I think it's gotta be between ACIII and Walking Dead. Personally I'd vote ACIII as I prefer it though.
  7. Yeah I sometimes use Vizzed. I can vouch that its a good site too, specially to play Pokemon Stadium
  8. Since then, I beat Whitney fairly easily, Via MAgnitude from Geodude. But I had to use Totodile to get past my rivals, because he has the Chirotia evolution that was kicking my others in. This is what the team looks like now Elite 4 Team: Graveler lvl30 - Tackle, Rock Throw, Mud Slap & Magnitude Kadabra lvl19 - Confusion, Teleport & Disable Trial Members - Why they're still on trial Onix lvl19 - Tackle, Screech, Bing & Rock Throw - Onix hasn't really got that many good moves, so unles I buy TM's I probably wouldn't get a good move set for it. Also I already have a Graveler in the team so no point having 2 rock pokemon really. Sandshrew lvl14 - Cut, Swift, Fury Cutter & Sand Attack - Yet again a rather shit move set and im not sure it can get a decent moveset without paying money to get TM's, Which is not my style. Only in the team for the HM Cut atm, so it wont be in much longer when I find a better pokemon with the ability to use cut. Boxed Team: Croconaw lvl18 Togepi lvl 15
  9. So I got two Gym Badges pretty quickly, Luckily you can train pretty easily with the space button Members: Geodude lvl23 Trial Members: Onix lvl15 Sandshrew lvl7 Boxed: Togepi lvl5 Totodile lvl12 When I say Trial members, I will try them out for a while and see if they will be usefull later on. The 'Members' part is for people who will definitely take on the Elite 4 at the end etc. Still looking for a few pokemon though.
  10. Just started again on Gold version, with a twist. I usually plan my team with a pokemon of each type etc and plan ahead, but this time im not. I plan on using pokemon I haven used before and I got member 1 of my team. I chose Totodile, but only used him until I got my first member. Team: Geodude lvl10 Box: Totodile lvl12 I plan on dominating with a team of pokemon I would never normally use, but that doesn't mean im going to get pokemon like Caterpie etc. Edit: Is there a way to evolve pokemon by trading through hacks?
  11. Yeah, Why should the US get it Cheaper but we can't? Although couldn't you just order it from the wal-mart, unless they dont do foreign deliveries. Anyway Im definitely getting this tommorrow, Got enough moneys and everything now!
  12. Dat game called Pokemon, what a Game!

  13. Just downloaded a hack of pokemon Red called TRE, or Team Rocket Edition. Your starters are Meowth, Ekans or Koffing . I chose Meowth and might only get Pokemon that Jessie and James have in the anime.
  14. Ah ok ^^. Best bet would be to continue the game and win a few more battles to get enough money to trade the money for game coins then, Unless you tried that.
  15. Is Porygon good anyway? Never really bothered to get enough coins to test him out.
  16. Hopefully I can get this today. £20 plus about 6/7 game trades should be enough money to buy it methinks.
  17. Playing Black 1 version and most probably will play another game on my pc today. My Black 1 team so far has 5 Badges and going to Celestial (I think) Tower to help a gym leader and injured pokemon, their levels stand as: Serperior lvl39 - My Starter Flump the Darmanitan lvl41 - My Fire Pokemon Panpour lvl22 - The Water pokemon (Needs a bit of Training though) Stripes the Zebstrika (Original name I know!) lvl27 - My Electric pokemon I have one place left for a Pokemon of my choice and the Legendary Pokemon you get at the end. Any ideas on a decent Ground/Rock pokemon as I don't know these Pokemon well? I was thinking of testing out either Gerdier or Klink, yes Klink that shitty Two Gears looking one, but not sure. Think Imma play Crystal on the PC as I never quite managed to complete it before, always got confused (This was ages ago mind) Edit: Its not Crystal I have, its Gold. Imma play that instead.
  18. Is there anywhere that sell this cheaper than£38? Im kinda skint for money right now and just dont have enough
  19. So I managed to defeat the Elite 4 without Training up my Pokemon as much as I thought, Mainly thanks to alot of revives, Potions and Elixirs! Onto the next Pokemon Game!
  20. FINALLY got through Victory Road. Took me about an hour to get through mainly due to the fact that I had a random battle every other step and forgot about Repels. Got 4 members of my team, gonna train them up and add two more from Victory Road. I was tempted to catch Moltres but didnt have any pokeballs at the time, plus I dont go for Larry Zbyszkoaries. Charizard - lvl60 - Slash, Fire Spin, Flamethrower & Cut Gyarados - lvl39 - Bite, Tackle, Ice Beam & Surf Hitmonlee - lvl34 - Double Kick, Rolling Kick, Strength & Take Down Pikachu - lvl38 - Thundershock, Thunder Wave, Pay Day & Swift Any Suggestions about who to add?
  21. Nah im using an Emulator on my pc, decided not to go for a ghost in the end though Got pretty far now, Mainly thanks to the Space button my my Emu and made a few team changes. Have 6 Gym badges now! Charizard lvl55 - Slash, Fire Spin, Flamethrower & Cut Been using him alot against annoying 6pokemon trainer battles and he has outleveled everyone else. Should probably take a backseat for now so I can concentrate on leveling up others. Pikachu lvl35 - Thundershock, Thunder Wave, Swift & Pay Day (Im a money whore) Yeah theres 20 levels difference between my best and secind best. Pikachu can 1hko all water types and always fights them, while still doing decent damage against others. Gyrados lvl30 - Bite, Tackle, Ice Beam & Dragon Rage I think Gyra has pretty decent attacks, I added Ice Beam so that he could fight against Grass types too, as that was his weak spot. I think only electric types have an advantage over hm now and even then they get hurt pretty bad by Ice Beam Hitmonlee lvl30 - Double Kick, Meditate, Take Down & Strength Decided to have Hitmonlee in my team, mainly for backup. He has Strength now so that adds to his usefullness. While I dont think I will use him for my Elite 4 fight, He can be usefull between now and then Fearow lvl23 - Growl, Fly, Fury Attack & Mirror Move The only reason I even consider using Fearow is as a Fly slave. Apparently Charizard cant use fly, even though he has wings.... so I needed a quick alternative and first bird pokemon was Fearow. He will definitelly not be in the Elite 4 battle, and I wont even bother training it up, as it would be pointless. Dratini lvl22 - Wrap, Surf, Thunder Wave & Agility I need peoples opinions here, should I train Dratini into something to fight the Elite 4 or not? Never having used one before I don't really know what I should do. For now I will keep him for the Surf HM and if I dont need him then Gyrados can use Surf so its all fine. So far these are the Pokemon that WILL face the Elite 4: Charizard Pikachu Gyrados These are the ones that might be in the team to fight Elite 4: Hitmonlee Dratini And this is the pokemon that most definitely wont be fighting Elite 4: Fearow As for replacements, im not really sure yet, maybe if I havent decided by the time I get there, Which is very unlikely, then I might just get a few Pokemon around Victory road. I think I made a mistake in getting Charizard though. Not based on how good it is as he can beat anyone now, but there arent that many good Grass pokemon around apart from the starter, Bulbasaur, While there is plenty of good Fire pokemon I could get. If you're starting a new game on Red/Blue, dont start with Charmander unless you dont want a Grass pokemon, or if you dont mind having a rather crap one. Massive Update (For Me) Over! Edit: @Nerf personally I prefer Vulpix, as (if im not mistaken) they learna few better attacks than Flareon. But if you can, try get a Growlithe, Unless you cant as its not on the Game you're playing.
  22. Hmm im at Lavender town currently. Is there any point in getting a Gastly since it cant evolve to Gengar? I still not sure if I should replace eevee anyway and it helps that you have one member in your party who cant be hurt by physical attacks.
  23. Just beat Erika and got a few updates on my team and stuffs. Charizard lvl36 Just evolved after bossing the fight with Erika, He's a definite for the E4 fight. Moves: Slash, Ember, Cut & Leer Pikachu lvl31 A few levels behind 'Zard due to the fact that there aint been much water pokemon about lately. More than likely to be in the E4 battle seen as I cant see me getting a better Electric type and I dont use 'Larry Zbyszkoaries' Moves: Thundershock, Thunderwave, Swift & Quick Attack Gyrados lvl29 Theres been a few Rock types in trainer battles but very rarely, thats why he isnt in the 30's. I like to have my pokemon within 5 levels of each other, apart from the 'Main' who can be a bit more, so still gonna be training it a while. Usefull for both Fire and Rock types so gonna be a stayer in the E4 fight Moves: Bite, Tackle, Splash & Dragon Rage Diglett lvl25 Other than Earthquake, Im not sure if it will be That usefull later on. Dig does decently but the lower level means it gets taken out quicker. Moves: Dig, Scratch, Growl & Body Slam Eevee lvl25 Not sure if I even want Eevee as I have all three eeveelution types already. Might keep it until I get a Pokemon worthy to fight the E4. Moves: Tackle & Sand-Attack Dratini lvl20 Ok so to be entirely honest, ive Never had a Dratini before. Yeah, I know right! Decided its about time I see what everyone wanks off to and bought it at the game centre thingy. Bsides it was either that or a Porygon and im not too sure if thats good either. I heard its a brilliant Pokemon to get so if it lives upto expectations (Which are VERY high) then it will stay in my E4 team. Moves: Wrap, Leer, Thunder Wave & Agility So some Questions then! 1. What moves should I Definitely teach my Pokemon? 2. Keep Diglett? And maybe why? 3. Keep Eevee? If yes then which Eeveelution? 4. Keep Dragonair? 5. Which Grass/Psychic/Ghost/Ground Pokemon are the best to get? (No Larry Zbyszkoaries) Cool.
