  6. Disagree big time. I've played video games for almost 20 years, and I believe that before these people play these games, they must realize that they cannot repeat the stuff seen in these games, otherwise someone's going to get hurt real bad. I would think parents today are smart enough to realize that, and talk to their kids before they allow them to play these games. Then again, it seems most parents are just plain dumb when it comes to video games, so one cannot place the blame for what kids do on video games, the blame must be placed squarely on the parents for allowing these things to happen.

  8. *bump* I'm beating the crap out of Andy Bloch today @ $1/$2 Pot Limit Omaha. I took $33 into that game, and I've come out with $138. I was down to $14 a few days ago and recovered all the way back to $70-ish. Was down from $78 to $20 yesterday and recovered to finish with $33, now I'm into the 3-digits. Who woulda' thunk it
  9. Bought the game today, and I've noticed the harder passing...but from experience in 2004, I do all catches myself now, so it doesn't bother me too much. I like all the new stuff they added in, and I am contemplating doing a Rutgers diary.
  10. You don't play hands when you get dealt utter shit. Anyway, Full Tilt Poker just went live for real money. Already lost $4.95 on a bad beat.
  11. With Full Tilt Poker down, I'm looking for a game on PokerStars. Find me on there as Magus978, and come take my chips EDIT: Euboea is the room under the Play Money tab. I'm the guy with the Scotty Nguyen av, which is the same as my av here @ EWB
  12. Just saw it on ESPN2 on their Ticker...Coach K stays with Duke.
  13. *bump* Finally finished in the cash Earlier today, I finished 6th in a $1,000 Freeroll tournament. Won myself $45 At one point, I had over $10,000 in chips, and got to the final table with only about half of that stack ($4,600). Went all in for my last $1,700 with Q-J suited. Got called by a pair of 2's. The flop came... 4-3-6 Still trailing, as my opponent picks up a straight draw. A miracle card came on the turn... Q I had made a pair of Queens, and was ready to get back in the fight...so why did I go out on 6th? 5 That's why. My opponent makes the straight, and I get rivered to the discard pile.
  14. I was short stacked, only had $850 left mid-way through the tournament. My suit didn't come on the flop at all, so I couldn't get a flush, but I had a straight draw, needing a King for a straight. It didn't come. Besides, what the hell do you expect me to do, wait for pocket aces until I'm down to like $200?
  15. An upside to my online tournament play today, I finished 12th in a multi-table tournament on Full Tilt Poker. Was hovering around $3,000 - $4,000 all tournament long, and went all-in for $1,070 late in the tournament with a Q-7 offsuit. I caught a pair of queens on the flop, but the guy against me had pocket kings. Needless to say, I lost. 12th ain't too bad though, as I think my tournament play is really improving.
  16. Ugh. I just fell out of my $5,000 Rookie Freeroll in 541st place out of 780 players. I wasn't catching a damn thing, so I went all in for $850 with A-J suited. The straight, nor the flush never came, so I was eliminated with nothing.
  17. I've played in a few. Tomorrow, I'm gonna be in a $5,000 Rookie Freeroll @ The Gaming Club. I also play on Full Tilt Poker, which during its beta period, I was able to play with professionals like 2000 World Champion Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, multi-time World Poker Tour winner Howard Lederer, 1988 World Championship runner-up Erik Seidel, PartyPoker Million III champion Erick Lindgren, and others.
  18. Wouldn't this go in Entertainment, as this is a topic about a game?
  19. I can't see how the Pistons played above their ability, and if they did, then the Lakers played WAY below their ability. Care to explain that batsman? Anyway, congrats to the Pistons, they clearly outplayed the Lakers in this series, and if they keep this group of players, I know it's a bit early, but I can see them getting back to the finals.
  20. Thanks for posting all the downloads. I've been looking for the picture packs ever since I formatted my PC

  22. I am going with the Lightning on this one. If they can contain Jarome Iginla and play some rock hard defense for 60 minutes, I think they can win the Cup. Big ifs though. Nonetheless, my money's on Tampa Bay, and with my history of losing bets, I would not be surprised to see this one go south on me too

What are you talking about? Poker owns j00 Table Tennis is pretty cool too. Spelling bees, however...they suck.
  24. I don't know where you'd find any, but I'd love to find some as well.
