  1. Rams over Seahawks 24-21 Packers over Vikings 30-13 Chargers over Jets 27-14 Colts over Broncos 38-10
  2. Sorry ROC...I get you and Gongsun mixed up for some strange reason Anyway, back on topic somewhat...the SNES owned. I actually still play it once in awhile to this day, just to get my old school fix.
  3. I don't like the season mode too much, but only because I was using my CAW in the Royal Rumble. It was down to me, Kane, and Batista, and I was eliminated very cheaply, IMO. I didn't even get a chance to save myself from getting eliminated with that ring meter or whatever its called. I threw my controller in disgust and turned off the game. Other than that, I liked the game. I'll probably end up buying it if it comes down a few $ in price.
  4. ROC-Revolt: I see what you're saying. I guess I'm just a bit biased towards PS2. It just appears to me that sales for Gamecube stuff (system and games) are lagging a bit. I guess since my Nintendo Power subscription ended at around the time the Gamecube came out, I haven't really been too interested at what Nintendo has put out in the way of Gamecube-related items. That's true about the games being a bit too kiddy. I've read some reviews and looked at screenshots at certain games, and I believe that they do look kiddy. I guess I should look at things a bit more carefully before I say something EDIT: Sorry Roc...I get you and Gongsun mixed up so easily. idk why
  5. As a big-time gamer, I am very hard pressed to tell you why to keep the Gamecube around. It just pales in comparison to the X-Box and PS2 right now. The lack of online play really doesn't help matters, especially when so many games on other systems are online-compatible. Gamecube players are really missing the boat on the opportunity to play online against other gamers. In my humble opinion, Nintendo and its systems have been in a serious downturn since the N64 was fazed (sp?) out. I suggest you sell it and all the games you have for it. Maybe you could get at least $125 - $150 for the entire package, and with that you could buy a good game or two for both systems. I'm probably wrong about the amount of money you would get, but that's just a rough projection. Hope this helps
  6. According to ESPN, the whole Randy Johnson deal thing is now off. The Dodgers wanted all the players involved to take physicals. Well, Javier Vasquez flat out refused to do so, so now the Dodgers have withdrawn from the Randy Johnson sweepstakes. Back to the drawing board now for the Yankees and D'Backs. Question to everyone: Now that the Dodgers are out of the running for Randy Johnson, which team will become the 3rd team in a potential deal to send the Big Unit to the Yankees?

    "3"

3 wasn't bad, but it was a bit too short. I personally thought Barry Pepper was a convincing Dale Earnhardt, but that's just my opinion. I'm looking forward to Tilt. Hopefully ESPN continues to improve their original movies/series. This was a step in the right direction.
  8. I just skimmed through the pages that went into detail about this melee, and let me just say that I hope the "fans" who incited this are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Expect there to be some fines levied not for the brawl in the stands, but probably for all the pushing and shoving before things got really ugly. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ben Wallace get a 2 or more game suspension for instigating a fight. As for Ron Artest, I won't go into any detail about what will probably happen to him, since I really don't know enough about what happened until I see SportsCenter tonight.
  9. BALLGAME OVER! WORLD SERIES OVER! CURSE OF THE BAMBINO OVER!!!!!! THE BOSTON RED SOX WIN THE WORLD SERIES!! RED SOX WIN! THEEEEEEEEEE RED SOX WIN!!!!!!!! ...ok, my John Sterling impression needs a lot of work Very dominant performance by the Red Sox tonight and the entire series. They deserved this more than anyone. Manny Ramirez = MVP!
  10. SCREW THE CURSE! Boston is going to the World Series! Your MVP of Game 7: Johnny "Jesus" Damon! Change that sig Lowerdeck, I think you have something good to put in it now! WHOO!!!!
  11. I just read the news. Never saw the movies, but I believe all the movies about superheroes owe a debt to this man. RIP Superman
  12. Red Sox in 6. I hate the Yankees. End of Story.
  13. I fell asleep during the Jets game, what was the score? Oh, great win for the Giants today . Barber looked excellent as always, and Warner keeps getting the job done. If not for that loss on opening day, they'd be 5-0, and in the NFC East lead.
  14. Twins take Game 1, 2-0 over the New York Yankees. Santana got out of trouble when he needed to, and the Twins did just enough to win.
  15. *consoles JHS* Don't worry, the Braves will choke in the NLDS. That team can't possibly win a playoff series. Here's to Minnesota winning it all this year
  16. Aston Villa 1-0 Crystal Palace Bolton 2-1 Birmingham Middlesborough 0-2 Chelsea Portsmouth 1-1 Everton Tottenham 1-3 Man United Derby 0-2 Wigan Nottm Forest 3-1 West Ham Torquay 0-4 Tranmere Rochdale 2-2 Notts County Lazio 1-3 AC Milan
  17. It's a day after the fight, and you still got it wrong Anyway, I knew De La Hoya was no match for Hopkins. Hopefully now the Golden Boy will retire and stick with promoting.
  18. This lockout doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon...and as a fan of hockey in the United States, this disappoints me. I had planned to go to an Islanders game this year, but I can now thank the owners for throwing a wrench as heavy as Tom Arnold's marriage to Roseanne into those plans About the game last night...I was rooting for Finland to win, only because a friend of mine was over watching the game as well, and rooting for Canada
  19. Arsenal 3-1 Bolton Birmingham 0-1 Charlton Chelsea 1-1 Tottenham Man United 3-2 Liverpool Southampton 1-1 Newcastle Stoke 0-1 Nottm Forest Sunderland 2-1 Preston Colchester 2-0 MK Dons Yeovil 0-1 Oxford Dortmund 1-4 Bayern Munich
  20. Aston Villa 1-3 Chelsea Liverpool 2-0 West Brom Man City 1-1 Everton Portsmouth 2-0 Crystal Palace Tottenham 3-0 Norwich Ipswich 2-1 Millwall QPR 1-1 Plymouth Sheffield United 2-0 West Ham Port Vale 0-3 Huddersfield Leyton Orient 2-2 Bristol Rovers
  21. 9/10. Very nice graphic. Can't find anything really wrong with it.
