Looks like barring a major fail, Rory McIlroy will go wire to wire and win the tournament. I wonder when the last time the winner went wire to wire.

Picked this up today used for €20 and to my surprise it came with a Bret Hart DVD and both Online Axxess and Bret Hart DLC codes untouched. I don't care if this game isn't great because that was a bargain.

Trying to do something new with my Universe, downloading a bunch of CAW's of 90's tag teams. Already got The Headshrinkers & the Faces of Fear. Hopefully the game doesn't break them up after one loss.

I picked up Gran Turismo 5 on a whim - and I'm enjoying it but while reading tips online someone implied that I will never be that good with it if I don't buy a racing wheel.

Pretty sure that can't be the case. Sure a wheel might be realistic, but I always felt a controller was best. Got up to level 14 on A-Spec, but still having problems with B-Spec mode, only on level 3.

The only ones I saw were the "King's Ransom" & the one about the 2004 BoSox. I keep wanting to see "June 17, 1994", so I might pick up this boxset.

Started playing this last night. I'm having fun, but there is no way I'm playing "right". I usually lose office within a month.

My first game was as Canada, though I was a conservative prime minister (no idea how to change who is in power). I was probably the worst conservative PM ever, legalizing gay marriage, taxing guns and smokes and fast food, increasing culture and education spending. I didn't balance the budget (how the hell do you do it? I cut all the military money >_> which is all of 2 bucks and a stick of gum, but whatever). I made it to the last week of January before I was deposed.

Also, I negotiated with the Chinese Mafia and the story got leaked, which was probably part of the problem.

Second game was with some place in Africa that starts with an M. Forget the name now. Had my popularity up to 76-78 (compared to Canada, where I was 35 or so) but again, overspent and made it about 2 weeks before being deposed.

My current game is with the US. I am now using the strategy of making small changes and then simming a month or so. Yeah, I'm doing alright thus far, have my popularity in the high seventies but I don't imagine that will last. Trying to pull all my troops out of foreign countries, which will probably leave Iraq to be taken over by extremists but whatever, screw them. (I'm the best president ever.)

My Universe has gotten a true split of splits. Raw is filled with all my downloaded CAW's & Legends, while SmackDown has the guys/divas in the game. It's year 3 for me, and here are my champs as of the Royal Rumble. Played the Rumble as Diamond Dallas Page, entered #10, eliminated in the final three by the eventual winner, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. Hayabusa v. Steamboat should be an epic encounter

Guys i wasn't planning on picking this up but you guys are twisting my arm is the Universe Mode all its cracked to be really ? Is it worth buying ? and most importantly can you use dowloaded wrestlers in Universe Mode ? Because if so this sounds like the ultimate WWE game

I'm sure there probably aren't (m)any uploaded yet, but does anyone have any idea if you can edit downloaded CAWs this year? Editing the actual model doesn't matter to me that much; I just want to be able to edit the profile and, particularly, the entrance music. I don't think you could last year.

Yes you can! I downloaded a good looking Kurt Angle and gave him his TNA music. Just gonna make sure his moveset is proper before I actually start putting him in matches in my Universe.

Go figure, I lost my first match. Tag match with my CAW and diva CAW (friend of mine asked me to make her) against Zack Ryder & Alicia Fox. Accidentally hit the referee with a clothesline because I was still getting used to the controls. DQ fail.

Lovin' the game big time at the moment, but it looks like I'm gonna have to tinker with my moveset to avoid this happening again

Still creating my CAW and his manager, really getting immersed into the customization features. Haven't even played a single match yet, but really looking forward to it

Is it just me, or did they take out the Jacknife from the moves you can give your CAW? (Still going through what moves they DO have, so I don't know exactly what else they took out. Just noticed that the Jacknife was a rather glaring omission because that's usually my finisher from previous games)
