What’s the logic behind no flip-flops in the shower? I wouldn’t want to be barefoot in a communal shower.

Wonder if Jimmy and Kim are reunited in Omaha.

Hope Poch stays unemployed long enough for him to take over once Conte inevitably implodes.

Eating and watching television is a very unhealthy habit, I disapprove.

When I was 12 I would follow all the football transfers and ensure that my FIFA and CM games were constantly updated. nowadays players I’ve not even heard of are moving for nine figure sums. That 12 year old would be appalled at what I’ve become.
The worst part is a lot of these players we’ve never heard of also turn out awful and people just shrug it off as though the players didn’t cost nine figures.

I guess Hungary was more Hungary for it.

I can’t believe Levy is signing people this early, Conte must have some very incriminating photos of him.

Norm Macdonald filmed a last standup special, in his living room, four months before dying. That special goes live on Netflix tomorrow.

That is one hell of a run by Madrid. Basically went through all the nouveau-riche teams trying to emulate them!

It's just a pity that 150m only gets you two or three players nowadays.

So I've obviously not being paying attention to Ligue UHHHHHHn because it is a farmers league that has won fewer European trophies than Scotland but I am curious - was Lionel Messi actually any good in his first season with Qatar SG?
He just looks slow and tired and like he doesn't care, which he probably doesn't. Then once in a blue moon, he wakes up and does something Messi-esque. It just really feels he's treating this as early retirement, a bit like say an Henry or a Gerrard in the MLS. Obviously more talented than pretty much every player out there, but just can't be bothered.

Ozark was fuckin' fantastic, what a great season. I wish it was continuing on, but the story is complete.
But, that finale. Fuck. I hated that. Not because of anything that happened (well, maybe one or two), but because some of it was just infuriating and made no sense.
Wendy gets a quick turnaround redemption for being a selfish, shitty person the last few seasons. Nobody gets punished for anything they've done, except for Ruth, who was only responding in kind. She kills the dude who killed her blood, which is fair. But then his mom kills her for killing her kid? Fuck off. I don't mind Clare cracking under the pressure like that, especially with the added graphic threats, but I mean, goddamnit. The story all along is that people like the Byrds will always get away with it, I get it. But still.
Jonah presumably killing Mel? What? He might have the cookie jar with the ashes inside, but uhhhh... it's not admissible evidence since he broke into their house to get it. Marty & Wendy would know that. Their kids aren't fucking idiots either. And besides that - this also ties into the Wendy thing. Jonah hated her for what she did, and now he's shooting an ex-cop to protect the family? He worked for the competition, he was ready to move to North Carolina... but Wendy had a shitty dad, so it's all good????
Goddamnit.
SpoilerOzark started out as a B-level rip off of the whole anti-hero genre and it hit some strong highs that pulled it towards being a much better show for the bulk of its run, but those last few episodes made sure it ended exactly where it started. A poorly written, rushed arc with a badly crafted cynical ending where they kill of a fan favourite in a pretty lame fashion. It’s like they were trying to fail.

i am glad leeds have not gotten relegated! i hope you had a nice day.
then I am glad you had a nice day too as also Spurs won and Son got to share the Golden Boot with Mo Salah.
I was pleasantly surprised with this outcome and am very amused by Spurs social media acting like we have won the league!

Ok fine.
But Liverpool winning the title on the final day wouldve been at least more entertaining?
No, this was more entertaining. I would rate the entertainment options as such:
4. Man City steamroll and wins the league
3. City loses, Liverpool wins the league.
2. City making us think they will lose then win.
1. Both teams being magically relegated.

Yeah. It was academic really once city equalised.
I think that everyone would have enjoyed it more if Liverpool had clinched it. But city winning is 🤷♂️
I think you don’t realize that a lot of us will take the evil blue team with a whiny coach owned by money barons with plastic fans winning over the evil red team with a whiny coach owned by money barons with plastic fans

The beautiful thing with this show is that we know some characters will live because they're in Breaking Bad and yet when bad things are about to happen to them, there's a total suspension of disbelief where I don't want them to die or anything like that. And then, there's obviously characters that don't appear in Breaking Bad and for those ones we have to assume the worse, but I still root for them to get out without harm. I was absolutely hoping Nacho would survive and make it out alive but that was absolutely not where the story was going.

Fair play to Madrid for beating the plastic treble, but we've already got the narrative of Salah wanting revenge for Ramos judothrowing him and getting him injured and Karius getting concussed.
They're the bad guys and we're going for the 80s style film comeback revenge troupe
I much prefer the narrative of the loveable old coach coming back to the big time for one last run and taking a team that’s way past it’s prime past all the other annoying money teams. It’s like the original terrible money team showing the new terrible money teams how it’s done.

Given we previously had the teaser about the depertment store heist and this time around had the teaser with the car in a field in the middle of nowhere I get the sense the last eps might all be Gene related.
