  1. This whole Mike Babcock thing is flabbergasting. I'm really interested to know if he was fired but given the option to resign to save face or if he actually decided he was happier bring retired.

Edit - Reading more into it, sounds more like a firing than resigning. What a weird story.

  2. I'll still get the game but watching the videos makes me less excited. It's probably trivial, but watching Paul Wight run up a ladder ruins it for me, especially when I read reviews beforehand that it wouldn't be the case on things like climbing the turnbuckles.

  3. Rumours are floating that the Coyotes are still looking in the Valley for arena deals. As a Coyotes fan from Canada, I hope it works out. There are fans there, but they have been given a bad deal ever since they moved to Glendale.

I can believe voters voted against the bill that was basically entirely privately funded and was supported by nearly every forget mayor and council member.

Truth be told, the Coyotes were poorly guided (it's been said whoever told them to send it to an early vote gave them bad judgment) and ran a terrible campaign (rumours are they only spent $250,000 while the no campaign spent $2,000,000). The no campaign was well funded by out-of-state unions who were upset they weren't guaranteed the work on the project.

Team USA's starting pitching is as underwhelming as can be. In fairness, they were gonna have Kershaw, Cortes, and Logan Webb but all had to pull out.

But even beyond those guys, the list of guys who turned down invites is enormous. Manoah, Gausman, Musgrove, Bieber, Cole, Rodon, deGrom, Burnes, Woodruff, McClanahan, Verlander, Scherzer, Wheeler, Nola, Fried, Strider among many others. Some of those guys would've needed to withdraw due to subsequent camp injuries (deGrom, Musgrove) but the point is they all declined.

This isn't anything new, Team USA's roster almost always looks the way it does now - star-studded position players, solid bullpen, mediocre starting pitching. I don't begrudge guys for staying home and getting ready for the season, it's just unfortunate that you're saddling this amazing lineup with guys like Kendall Graveman and Brady Singer.

Ohtani and Darvish had no issues leaving camp to go pitch for Japan. Reigning Cy Young winner Alcantara happily went to go pitch for the DR. Hell, Marcus Stroman was Team USA's ace last time and he decided to switch over to Puerto Rico this time. Short of a massive payday I'm just not really sure there will ever be a way to sell American pitchers on this tourney being worth it.

At least you have the depth to cover it. Try being a Canadian baseball fan! At the last tournament, our "ace" hadn't pitched in three seasons. I think this year's team has three that are retired.

That being said, I absolutely love this tournament and can't get enough of it. Canada actually has a chance to advance past the first round.

Speaking of which, the tournament format is the best it's ever been. The convoluted second round round robin is gone, hopefully forever.

    #12 Karma II?

#20 & #21, based off the tweet, I'm assuming Kabha and Guerrero Jaguar, but I couldn't find anything to corroborate.

You never posted a picture of it, but the second last twitter post you gave is Golden Girl.

  6. Dalys la Caribena should be born approximately 1967-1968. I have read she was 42 when she debuted. She should have a mercenary attribute (or something similar) and at least be muscular body type. Her relationship with Veneno should be Blood Relative, not Loyalty (they are siblings).

    Spoiler

Dalys & Negro Casas have left CMLL and joined AAA.

Lady Flammer and The Tiger (Tamaulipas) are married.

Lady Jaguar retired years ago to start a family.
