Generally, you get a tough year every 3 seasons, just shuffle around your tactics, should do the trick. This stops the computer from predicting your tactics. Also, I believe that if you go on holiday for the day that you have to register your players for the CL, the homegrown rule does not apply.

Last night was a great performance. Davids was on fire, Davenport was outstanding, a real contender for a future starting slot when King gets back, and Assou-Ekotto shined. Lee also played well on the right considering he is a left footer. And Lennon, as per usual, was the inspiration. Berbatov gave a good impression, but I think I prefer Berbatov/Defoe. I'm not a big fan of Downing, he;'s good, but over-rated and over-priced. He won't be leaving Boro this year. I'd prefer someone like the versatile Gareth Barry, who can play DC, DL, ML, and MC. Any word on when the away kit is out? My sister wants it.

Judging from pre-season, Roeder wants to use Luque as an out-and-out striker this year, so that is out of the question. But N'Zogbia is very pacy and has skill, so I don't reckon they needed him. Ah well. He'll retire there >_>
