  1. No teams will be axed at all. Bettman wants 30 Teams in the league and as long as the owners will be pushing for the cap, it's going to stay that way. The cap is going to help these small market teams.

Why would anyone even suggest that Tampa Bay would fold?, they won the frickin Stanley cup for godsakes, Plus they have talented players and a high fanbase there, same with Minnesota, remember when they had to move and everyone was down. Well now guess what? Most of them they're back now, stronger than ever.

Bettman, he's not to blame for the lockout because the players were getting too much, he's to blame because this is partially his fault. He should have NOT expanded to places like Atlanta, Nashville, Florida etc. If they had 24-25 teams now, I bet the 42.5 M Salary Cap would have worked or maybe even the 49 M. but with the league and their situation with 30 teams currently, it's too late for a 49 M salary cap.

What Will Happen Next Fall: Players will fold or Replacement players are put in.

and one more note, No Cap + No Oilers = 1 more canadian team lost. NO GOOD!

  2. "Oh my god! Manning's gonna kill us. The Colts are going to run up the scoreboard, the patriots are the underdogs. Manning's gonna pick apart the secondary. Colts defense is going to get to Brady"

    In Reply: SHUT UP!

"Philly is rusty and they have no T.O. The recievers are going to have to step up now"

The Answer: "The People's Champ" Freddie Mitchell

Now that all the pretender teams are gone. We can now focus on the 4 most dominating teams this year in the NFL. Pittsburgh, New England, Philedelphia and Atlanta. Those 4 teams were the best teams this year, thats what I like about this year's playoffs. It's feel different from all those other ones.

  3. Coming from non-jets fan. The Steelers should have lost that game. They did everything wrong, Ben played bad. The defence didn't play up to it's potential. The Jets should have won that game but that frickin Brien. Wait, don't blame him now...but who else is there to blame?

"Putcha Name On It"- Herman Edwards

In this day and age a forty yard field goal should be a given. It's 40 frickin yards! It's not like your kicking from the half-field mark. Watch the NY media just wallop on Brien and possibly Edwards too.

Atlanta Falcons destroy the St Louis Rams. See this was a blow-away, but still better than Colts/Broncos from last week. Atlanta looks pretty good. But that's because they haven't really fought anyone great yet and if/probably The Eagles will win tomorrow, it'll be The Eagles versus The Falcons. "Battle Of The Birds"

and one last prediction for tomorrow's Colts/Pats...

    "Manning: 4 INT, 75 YDS"

    (guy can dream can't he...)

  4. Good hours tonight. Jack + Robber = Pretty Good Robber. They could of branched out the Debbie plot a bit more, instead of killing her off but from the previews it seems her mom will come into play.

I too, am wondering why haven't they killed Jack's girl yet? I bet she's the mole... If there is one???

  5. DAMN...

    24 > Everything

Now that's how a 2 hour premiere should be done and once again there's so much plots. If this is an indication of how the entire season will be, it will be great. JACK IS BACK!

  6. Seen it. Wasn't that impressed but I'm glad it's back. First hour was just boring. Second hour was okay but the chinese guy was trying too much to be like Sark. There's only 1 Sark.

It was so cheesy that mostly everyone who was working with Sydney before is now working with them again, Only this time the colors of the walls are white.

Now onto more important things to watch like 24 on Sunday.

  7. Canada Rules The World...Again.

    Canada's Game:

    *Olympic Men's Gold

    *Olympic Women's Gold

    *World Championship Gold

    *World Cup Gold

    *World Junior Championship Gold

the only thing that's missing is the Stanley cup which won't be awarded anytime soon. But we still rule!

The game wasn't all that competitive but I am glad that Canada destroyed the Russians especially that punk Ovechkin, he got roughed up badly. Dion Phaneuf played awesome and Bergeron got the MVP, and rightfully so.

    Time for a repeat. 2006!

and in the mean time. No Hockey :(

  8. THE U.S.A (Hosts and Defending Champions) LOSE to BELARUS, 5-3

*This is Belarus first round robin win EVER and what a way to do it. 5-1 at one point in the game. The goalies of the U.S. need to start looking at tapes or something. Montoya still looked soft especially after that seemingly easy shot from the blue line but he LET IT IN and Schneider wasn't all that great as well.

    Other News:

Finland 5 Sweden 4 (Finland comesback)

    Slovakia 5 Germany 0

    Czech Republic 5 Switzerland 2

Mike Richards (CAN) did not practice/skate on Wednesday...

  9. 9-0 Canada. Can't remember when we used to dominate so impressively. Crosby/Bergeron are simply unbeliveable. 6 Goals and counting for The Phenom. I'm worried about Richards though, it's a good thing they took him out, can't risk them losing another forward.

What's happened to Montoya? He's looks a bit soft. Needs to snap out of it.

  10. The Big Unit going to The Big Apple?

If he does, it's gonna be one hell of an opening day for The Boston Red Sox at New York. We could have Schilling versus Johnson! I do not believe Schilling's going to not be available opening day. He's a very suspenseful guy. Remember the time when he said "oh, it's gonna be great when I dissapoint 50,000 yankee fans." and then the next thing you know, Yankee's blow him away in game 1 because he was actually injured so he just maybe saying that and then he'll just show up ready to play.

But this is now starting to hurt Boston, they lose Pedro to the mets. The Yankees bulster up their bullpen and now they're about to get Johnson. Boston needs another starter. Well's just won't do it for them. No one is even trying to get Carlos Delgado which in my mind, is a big aquisition to any team.

MLB 2005 Season = The Red Sox and Yankee War Part: MMVIIXXIIVXII

  11. Bettman's an ass. Atleast the NHLPA are trying... but Goodenow did make a point, The league changed basically everything in the PA's proposal and then put a salary cap right on it. How is that helping?

I mean build off the proposal, don't change the whole thing. Your just pushing the players into a corner. The players aren't to blame cause they are trying to save the season, it's the owners and the league that are really just saying "Keep your 24% rollback, but we still need to take more money from you."

The owners are hell-bent on having a cap. The players are saying "screw your cost-certainty, without us the players you have no league." and the fans are stuck at home watching Molson commercials about guys in a bar singing "Do you really want to hurt me?"

If they get a deal done in the next 3 weeks, then that's great news but from today's meeting. It 80% in climbing that the NHL will have no season
