  1. Numbers wise, yes he was. He the too many interceptions, but compared to the rest of the league during that same span, he was top 15.

Matthew Berry verified that on ESPN. If Palmer's fantasy numbers were prorated out to a 16-game season, he would have ended up 10th. For once, this isn't DMN's Raider homerism talking out his ass for him.

  2. Is anyone else expecting a letter from Dan Gilbert to be published later tonight?

He popped out a tweet congratulating "OKC and Miami" on the series, and ended with "Back to work on promising Cavs' draft." Nary a word about whatsisname.

  3. Look for Steve Nash to pay Miami to win him that elusive title next season. Is Grant Hill a free agent too? Maybe that can be LeBron's penance. Get all of the old, past their prime NBA darlings scavenged rings and maybe some people will forget all about The Decision.

Karl Malone's probably blowing up Pat Riley's cell right now.

    EDIT:

  4. One member of the Fab Five managed to pick splinters out of his ass long enough for someone to go win him a title. Admirable patience from Juwan.

Also, I believe Battier is going to become the first Duke player under Coach K to win titles in college and the pros. I think Danny Ferry was Coach K's only player to win one at all when he clung like a barnacle to one of the Spurs' title teams.

  5. Just in case Midget needs a little injury consolation:

In my ESPN league, I currently have Kemp, Bonifacio, Carlos Lee and Jered Weaver all on the DL, Dez Jennings just got off same, and Aramis and Freeman have both been DTD for a week and change now.

Still running 2nd in that league, though, so here's where the consolation ends and a little gloating begins. :D

  6. I'll try it, but I think I'd prefer ESPN over Yahoo. The mobile app has been an absolute godsend for me in my show's league on ESPN. And, I also enjoy the idea of a league where more than four or five people pay attention. I'm 0-for-2 on that score this season. <_<

  7. Let's Go Pacers!

    Beat the Heat!

    Let's Go Pacers!

    Beat the Heat!

This is the game that will determine whether 2 1/2 Men will ever win their title together. It feels dirty rooting for the Pacers (Reggie Miller can't die in enough fires for me or for Spike Lee), but sometimes sacrifices must be made for the greater good.

So, I can count on no signature from you on the "Reggie Miller for Sainthood" petition? :D

  8. I do have to applaud LeBron for one thing: getting a bunch of people who would probably sooner torch Indianapolis than live there to openly root for the Pacers.

Even if you are all renting short-term space on the bandwagon, welcome. We have cookies.

  9. Can't Sahyder assign a new owner to Hickey's team?

I guess it's too late and unfair now but since everyone plays him once but not twice something has to be done to ensure our league isn't determined by that scheduling quirk.

Judging by the holes in sahyder's lineup, Der Commish might be the second-least active owner in the league.

On a tangent here...anyone else not digging this LF/CF/RF shit? Maybe it's just because Papi's an immovable stone pillar in my Util spot (at least he is as long as he's tickling .400, because Lord knows he ain't gettin' benched), but every time Jackson or Assdribble has a solid game, I'm annoyed.
