If we do end up against Portugal, we're certainly going to be getting a lot of tedious news articles talking about the 3-2 loss last time. The madness!! This is the craziness that predicting the qualifiers from the group will do for you! In fact, the craziness is SO extreme, that I'm amending the rules. If you only got one of the teams right and they're in the correct position, you get two bonus points. I haven't worked out what effect this has before I've decided it, so this isn't some kind of manipulative plot and I don't know exactly what it'll do. What I do know is that pens66, was not only the only person to predict Greece would qualify, but he also did so in the right order. This means he jumps right up to the top of the table! Just shows you that anything can happen... ... Right, *now* I've worked out the points properly, with the amendment to the scoring system. In fact the only people who didn't benefit from it in this group were TheGame3000uk, JohnnyPerfect, J-Rod, UmpireAJS, and, uh, me. But hey, it's only 2 points. The only effect they had table-wise was that evertonfan moved up one place. Still, I think it helps. Yeah that's fine. Just so I know what it was, to be sure against any possible underhanded dealings. In fact, it would have been an idea for me to copy down everyone's predictions into my own word document, which I am doing now. Speaking of possible underhanded dealings, I've just noticed that one other person has edited his predictions post. TheArsenal made an edit at 6:29pm on Wednesday the 16th of June, which would have been in the last 10 minutes of the Greece vs Spain match. Coincidentally or not, TheArsenal scored a perfect prediction for that game. Now I'm not one to throw out accusations on only circumstancial evidence but...explain yourself bitch.

1. Morning Musume are a J-Pop group, consisting of about a dozen girls. Though I haven't heard any of their songs myself, it's a group that was created via winning a television show, so that doesn't exactly fill me with confidence... Their Official Website is only in Japanese, but you can read some information about them in English HERE. 2. Inuyasha OST CDs do exist, but they're on import and are atrociously expensive. The ones listed by amazon.com are: * 'Best of Inuyasha' - $42.99. It contains 'Dearest', and 'My Will', but not the 'Deep Forest'. It does include the opening theme that they would be using on Cartoon Network 'Change the World' - and no, I don't like it either. * 'TV Inuyasha' - $56.99. A double disc set, most of it is different variations on the same songs. There are 2 'CTW's, 4 'My Will's, and 7 'Dearest's. It also includes 'I Am', but not 'Deep Forest'. * 'Inyasha Koukyo Renka: Wind' - $48.49. Six Inuyasha songs get a makeover as they are played by the Japan Philharmonic Ochestra. Think Metallica's 'S&M' album. The six tracks are: 1. Change the World 2. Every Heart 3. Dearest 4. I Am 5. Grip 6. My Will * 'B.O. Inuyasha Op&Ed Song' - $49.99. Seems almost the same as the previous album, only with a seventh song 'No More Words'. The person reviewing it on Amazon says that it's a duplicate of another CD on the site, so it might well be. I chose Calvin & Hobbes for two reasons. Firstly, it owns, and secondly, I don't have a clue what most of those toher choices are. Fuck Peanuts. I scored 2pts for predicting the Czech win, while pigeon, pens66 and TheGame3000uk all scored 3pts for predicting a one goal winning margin, but not getting the exact scoreline. That's a total of just eleven points scored across the entire board. ELEVEN. Actually it's getting even closer at the top, and it's still extremely close in the middle (four people each with 24pts ffs!). As for the bottom of the table...well the same people continue to suck. Although the Czech Republic did technically qualify today, points for predicted qualifiers will not be alloted until all games in the group have been played. So, uh, that'd be starting tomorrow then.
