  1. Well, after months of waiting for the principal and superintendant to read my letter and petition, we're having our first meeting March 30th. The plan is too just have an introductory meeting having everyone get to know each other and learn how the group works. I'm trying to decide on what to show that day, but I really can't think. I've been edging toward Ghost in the Shell but I don't know. Post some ideas and if they're a little more "mature" (violence, language) post the rating or what's bad in them. This is a high school, so I have to be a little bit careful. Thanks in advance.
  2. Well, there go all my hopes and dreams. Whedon would have been perfect for this movie; anyone who has read Astonishing X-Men would agree. I still to this day wonder why the fuck Angel ended. It has one hell of a strong following, almost as strong as Buffy's (although I have seen some crazy Buffy fans ). Whoever made this decision needs to fucking die. This could have launched Whedon from Cult God to Mainstream. Damn them. Damn them all to fucking hell. P.S: What are the other Buffy/Angel former cast stars opinions on a new movie or show? Have they said anything?
  3. Mortal Kombat with Street Fighter a ways behind. MK has kept a base core of characters and evolved them over the years as the times changed around them. Street Fighter's originals are still almost the same as they were 10 years ago. Then you have the fact that Kombat was one of the first games to really push the limit on gaming violence back when games were very clean. Street Fighter should have never left 2D. Also, is the newest MK out for Gamecube yet? I know it was set to release soon.
  4. Wow, what a retard. Does this guy even listen to any other music these days? Not blasting rap for this, but most of the songs I here on the radio are edited so much I can't even stand it; and they're praising things along the same lines, and even worse. Hell, boy bands back in the 1990's were doing almost the same thing, encouraging teens to go crazy all they want, but it was never scrutinized. I have nothing against Wilson, her music isn't that great but it's not like she's starting some kind of cult or something. Hopefully she'll get better and have a nice little career for herself.
  5. Get Ninja Gaiden as long as you don't mind getting frustrated as hell. ESPN Football 2k5 looks and plays wonderfully on the X Box as well. It's cheap, so I would give it a shot.
  6. Soul Caliber II is good for both, but I'd say get the GC version. Super Smash Brother Melee is awesome, one frickin fun game. And surprisingly, Zelda: Four Swords is wicked fun if you have the game boys for it.
  7. Saturday, May 7th Providence, Rhode Island Lupos Public On Sale: Friday, March 11th @ 10 AM Holy crap, a good band coming to Rhode Island? Must buy tickets. Also, could someone post some info on TMV for those of us who are just finding out how much they fucking rock?
  8. My loves go from rock to classic rock to classical to meditation to techno. I suppose my guily pleasures would be Foreigner and Sarah Brightman. Yes, Sarah Brightman. I guess I'm a softie at heart, blargh. And AJ, I thought I was the only one that liked Oasis.
  9. Dammit, Quom's anger always has a way of shutting me up and making me feel better.
  10. "Slow Hands" but yeah, wrong forum.
  11. I'm really hoping it's not because I find humor in Snow's crappiness. Or is it because of the fact I think dragon is angsty? Well, if you don't believe me, read his posts in the Who Do You Hate thread. I speak truth.
  12. Here's the thing though. He chooses to risk his ass fighting to clean up crime. Most people with that much money would live life easy and never do the stuff Batman does. You have to at least give him props for that.
  13. Cops don't fight seven foot tall bastards with souped up steriods pumping through them.
  14. He doesn't save our lives, he does a crappy job preventing pollution. Plus, he retired after like three years of active duty. Aquaman has been working since the 1940s or 50s. But no matter what way this topic goes, Batman>All.
  15. Why does no one know about poor ole' Aquaman? Yes, he can breathe underwater for as long as he wants, but because of his exposure to deep sea depths for long periods of time, he has incredible durability and strength. He also has the Waterbearer which allows him to heal wounds, use some magic spells and other things. Plus, he can talk to fish. Plus, Captain Planet used to nearly die when someone threw a net covered with trash on it at him. C'mon!
  16. Whatever you do, don't get Final Fantasy XI or Everquest. You might as well marry your computer and never leave your house again. I suggest Diablo II, it's not flashy, but it still kicks a load of ass.
  17. If you know you've played it, don't be ashamed, just say so. Might as well talk about it right? My girlfriend got me playing this and I hate to admit that it's fucking awesome. My village has a stoner penguin, a crack head rabbit and creepy old french/goth rabbit too. Plus the fact that my character looks like he's high makes for some good laughs. We're (me and Tiff) are even thinking of making a webcomic of it. Any thoughts on what you think of the game?
  18. Must not buy game. Must not buy game... Damn, you guys are going to make me buy this now. I wasted all that time of FFXI, then City of Heroes. God, I might as well just chain myself to my desk with all these recent MMOs. Also, how bad are the newblets? Worse then FFXI or not as bad?
  19. To answer someones question, if it wasn't already, cats were in previous Zelda games. Of course, you couldn't hug them. My girlfriend is going to be thrilled, she loves cats. P.S. Monkey with boomerang=Awesomeness P.P.S. Don't hate on Gamecube, do I have to get started on how shitty the PS2 has become? And do I have to bring up the PSP? Or the X-Box? Please don't make me go into "Lifelong Nintendo Fan" mode.
