Andrei Kirilenko signs a two year deal with the Nets... $3.1 million first year, player option the second... Why he would opt out of a $10 million contract I have no clue, he was never going to get that much on the open market... Same goes for Monta Ellis, it just screams greedy to me from him why he wouldn't accept a 3yr-$36 mill extension but wants a 4yr-$40 mill deal, which would see him make less money a year, go figure... He doesn't end up with what he wants so fire his agent lol I think Ellis will be lucky if he ends up with the same kind of contract Redick or Kevin Martin signed tbh...

Another great move for the Nets this offseason and they're putting together quite a roster at this point in time... I'm really interested to see how they all gel together...

I can't see Dallas getting Asik... I also don't think they'll be making the playoffs next season even if they do get him, if they do, they'll be fighting for that 8th seed again... I think the top 7 in the west is pretty set at the moment with the exception been Denver but I can never tell with them...

I don't understand why the mavericks didn't make a run at Brandon Jennings... Instead they got Jose Calderon for 4yrs-$29 million... I personally think that is a waste of money but meh I'm not a Mavs fan either so doesn't bother me lol...

Clippers, Suns & Bucks have agreed to a three team deal...

Clippers receive: JJ Redick & Jared Dudley

Suns receive: Eric Bledsoe & Caron Butler

Bucks receive: 2 future 2nd round picks - one from each team

As a Suns fan I like the deal a lot... Bledsoe & Dragic will be a nice backcourt, hell I'd possibly like them to trade Dragic at this point...

I'm sure the Clippers could have got more for Bledsoe though... They get two good shooters but I'm not exactly sold on this deal making them any better despite Redick been a favourite of mine...

Oh ok, everywhere I've read still says its protected 1 to 5...

And you'd want to hope the Pelicans pick doesn't fall in the top 5 as its protected there and you'll miss out on the pick altogether!

J-Kidd has been my favourite point guard since he came into the league... A great all-around talent who made everyone around him better... I definitely see him as an NBA coach one day...

Is it much of an improvement over last years game, baddar? i had it but got pretty over it quickly... I love the game and still have it sitting here and it's good for a round or so every couple of months , just no use upgrading if its not substantially better

This finally came out in australia a couple of days back and I picked it up yesty... Played episode 1 & 2 thus far... Great game and has definitely lived up to what I'd been expecting... Really easy to get into and the choices you are forced to make are great and really get you feeling for certain characters...

I personally don't think the Thunder will make it out of the 2nd round without Westbrook playing... Durant is good but I can't see him carrying the team and making up for the loss of Westbrook and I just don't think the players around him are capable of filling the void either... I still see then walking over Houston but can't see them matching a 7 game series with the Clippers or Griz!

So I need Utah to beat Minnesota and Memphis in two road games and the Lakers to lose two home games against San Antonio and Houston so that the Lakers miss the playoffs...

C'mon Utah... I think at this point though, the Lakers have qualified... Only to be swept in the first round by OKC...

Well UCLA has hired Steve Alford as their new head coach...

DMN should be fairly happy with that choice... I think Alford is a great fit their and UCLA will definitely be one of the teams to watch over the next few seasons...

As far as my bracket is concerned... Duke is still in which is great as I had them winning it... Florida is my only other final four team though

Yeah quom was spot on with his post and at this stage I'd say the Lakers will struggle to make the playoffs... Tbh I really wouldn't be surprised to see them and Atlanta do a deal... Josh Smith seems to want out, and Dwight is getting frustrated with the offense in Laker land apparently... Atlanta throws in some draft picks and say Jeff Teague and I see the Lakers pulling the trigger... I don't see Mike D'Antoni been fired til at least the end of next season... Mitch Kupchak even came to his defense today and said it wasn't him and more the players efforts or something to that effect...
