  1. I make it that Arsenal's got 2 minutes to sell Cole... EDIT: unless the deal is done, and they are just going to announce it tomorrow...
  2. Actually, the Beeb is saying that the Sun is printing that in tomorrow's first edition. Slight difference.
  3. Sibierski isn't bad. When he's on form he's pretty good. A good back up.
  4. Newcastle have signed Antione Sibierski.
  5. Cameroon international Roudolphe Douala Mbela has signed for Pompey. How much money do they have?
  6. ah... ok. Cool. Be glad once the whole Cole To Chelsea saga is over, as it annoys me hearing about it all the time.
  7. Why would the deal have to be completed there?
  8. Where've you heard/read that?
  9. We've signed... Colin Kazim-Richards. Erm... who?
  10. BBC reckon they might still go for Didier Agathe.
  11. From the players' POV, West Ham may be an odd, but good choice. Did they say how long the contracts were for? (i'd guess 2 to 3 years). I can see MSI seeing that they could sweeten a potential take-over of West Ham by offering them much cheaper than going rate (which, let's be honest, is down to them. If this is true, West Ham could still turn them down, etc). Continuing... if they have, indeed, signed short term(ish) deals it's great for the players as they'll effectively be in the shop window for every big Euro club whilst managing to 1) get premiership experience 2) 99% certainty of their names being first on the team sheet each week and 3) they get away from Corinthians, a club they have reportedly been wanting to leave for a bit now.
  12. Portsmouth have signed Kranjcar. Good signing, imo.
  13. The above is from the Beeb's transfer latest news page. Seems like it's a done deal.
  14. Maybe to support the band and because he likes to have the booklet which more than likely compliments the music? Record labels go off of sales and if there is a band I really like I'll download the album, see if it's up to my standards to buy it, and if so... I will fully support the band and buy the album. It's fine and dandy to say you go to shows to support a band but at the end of the day record labels help keep bands running and without a label alot of bands just seem to fall apart nowadays. it makes sense when you explain it like that but its just like paying for your food after you've finished and left the restaurant and are back at home kinda thing, but ok. Are you saying you don't pay for food at restaurants?
  15. I bought it yesterday and, on first play, I feel underwhelmed. Although, I'm really digging "The Legacy". I'll reserve further judgement until I'm more used to the songs, if you know what I mean (ha, random Waylan Mercy nostalgia. Anyone remember him? lol). I'm guessing the album will grow on me but, imo, it' not as good as DoD or BNW, but better than some of the later Bruce albums from the original stint.
  16. Not all HDTVs are £1000. Sure, theres a variety in quality, but there still HD. For example... http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/tech-da...p;s=electronics It's £799.88, but if you look on the used & new section, there's a company selling them new for £665.50. Saying that, Toys R Us (where I work) has been selling a HDTV at £599.99 up until recently, then it dropped in price to £499.99 to get rid of the last two. Hell, we've even been doing a deal where you get the TV and a premium 360 package for £999.99. Ah well...
  17. Last was Guns N' Roses which fucking ace. Next is Muse, which will be fucking ace.

    Kerrang awards...

I don't know about overall quality, but for "readability" I'd go for... Kerrang > Rock Sound > Metal Hammer > Q > NME ... and there'll all pretty crap. For me, the best mag would be one that follows the genres that K and MH cover, with the range and depth of RS.

    Kerrang awards...

NME or Kerrang? Tough one... I'd say NME, because they are too indie oriented for me. Kerrang generally sucks, but at least covers genres I may like to listen to...

    Kerrang awards...

Heh, if they'd have done the awards a week or so later, then Maiden could've kicked LP's arse with respect to the album one. It's out on monday, folks! Get a-buyin'! /shameless shilling
  24. Whilst I like most of those bands, most should not be anywhere near the ones they won (the My Chemical Romance one is a f*cking joke). In fact, the only two I don't have issues with are Muse and Angus Young. The rest seem utter balls - even more so than normal.
