I'm still watching and waiting for Battle Toads once again. I don't even think I remember this show besides its title. However, they revamped the Ninja Turtles and made them excellent...so you never know.
-
That'd mean that Lost jumped the shark within ten minutes of first airing, doesn't it?
While I agree the show could have maybe withstood one more season within the prison, it's a premise that can not have a long term, keeping up with quality and all. Despite that, the show (even with Robin Tunney) is very decent. I'll watch the opener, for sure.
I'm down here in Australia, where the first season just recently ended, but I arrive back in the States on the 19th. That is such a pointless note to share, but my life may not have been right without it.

Either Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughn performing "Little Wing", with an honorable mention going to "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd, of course. Then again, I'm horrible at calming music, since I prefer to hear an unforgettable guitar riff for endless amounts of time to calm me down...

Sevendust opening for Staind, Chevelle opening for Stone Sour, and Powerman 5000 opening for Stone Sour. Not to say the main event wasn't great...but c'mon. I have to say Story of the Year and Hoobastank were really good, blowing POD up, though Linkin Park did save the show at the end.

My first comics were Spider-Man and X-Force against Juggernaut, when Juggernaut singlehandedly toppled one of the World Trade Center buildings, followed by Spidey "dying" long enough to see the other side and fight Thanos one on one and wake up just in time to fight the Sinister Six. Great string of comics there. Oh, and X-Men 1-3, with Magneto and his Acolytes.
If nobody's mentioned Alan Moore's "Watchmen", I'm in deep shock. Truly one of the finest comics I've read. I tried to anjoy Art Spigelman's "Maus", but that's really depressing shit.
House of M was good, in my opinion. The core title was, at least. Real tense, made me feel like a war was coming, and when it hit...it petered out. Whatever, though. Cyclops leading everybody gets my vote for stroke of genius. Civil War is great, but I keep overlooking Frontline and there's just no way I could give a shit about Infinite Crisis...that's the most convoluted mess I ever tried to read.

Whoever said "The Devil's Rejects" was better than "House of 1000 Corpses", I fucking salute you. I swear, I don't think there's such an easier sequel vs original argument to be made than those two movies.

Black Panther: "Three words: Black Indiana Jones"
(My own casting suggestion: Michael Jai White. Give him a chance to be in a decent superhero flick to make up for "Spawn"; interesting fact, but at some point Wesley Snipes was considering playing Black Panther after he had already done the first "Blade" movie)

'Delicate' - Damien Rice
'The Trapeze Swinger' - Iron & Wine
'Best Of You' - Foo Fighters
'In My Life' - Johnny Cash
'Epiphany' - Staind
'Outside' - Staind
'To Be Treated Right' - Terry Reid
'Bother' - Stone Sour
'Breathe Me' - Sia
'Goodbye, My Lover' - James Blunt
'Hollow' - Godsmack
Wish I had more for you, but I really don't have much in the way of relationship recovery music anymore.

If "SexyBack" is any indication of where he's taking this new album of his, I'm really interested. He was inspired with the want to be a bit more "rock" and toss in a bit of Bowie, so I'm going to really like this album, I think. The song was so off the wall when I first heard it I had to keep listening. I love it in one of those "Wow, I hate how addictive this shit is" sort of way.

On topic a bit...but their cover of "Hotel California" is fucking awesome. I'm still looking for "Like A Version" online to no avail.

NWA World Heavyweight Championship (Special Guest Referee: Jeff Jarrett)
'Captain Charisma' Christian Cage © vs. 'King of the World' Chris Jericho
-Christian Cage. This is my hope, anyway. I wanna see Christopher Daniels win his match against Samoa Joe and begin a face-like run against the World Champ Cage only to have Jericho immediately get into a feud with Daniels once Daniels unifies. RoH is gonna lose this, obviously, because TNA wouldn't let their "brand" get smothered completely. The RoH belts are all gonna get unified or eliminated altogether I imagine, so it's only right that TNA's status quo doesn't change until the RoH/TNA war is over.
ROH World Heavyweight Championship
'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels © vs. 'Samoan Submission Machine' Samoa Joe
-Christopher Daniels. Fallen Angel needs to go face, IMO, and this is a great place to start. Taking the win over Samoa Joe, the man he can't seem to beat, is a huge feat and will get him respect heat. There are several ways to take this, though. Daniels wins and stays heel and unifies the titles or he wins and goes face and either unifies or chases...but that depends on the winner of the main event.
No Disqualifications Match
The New Church vs. Raven & The Sandman
-The New Church. I have absolutely no care about this match. It's just the workers, though, I assure you. I love Raven...and that's it. Even my love for Raven can't bring that up. Team ECW will take the loss because, I imagine, I'm gonna have to see these guys lock it up again.
NWA World X Division Championship (Unification Match)
'The Phenomenal' AJ Styles vs. Jushin 'Thunder' Liger
-AJ Styles. Is it just me or does it feel like the X-Division's belt has zero behind it since Liger's not appeared? Oh well. You could shock, so to speak, and have Liger win and unify...but if this is typical TNA booking, AJ will unify the belts because that's what TNA's Golden Boy does.
TNA Hardcore Championship
'The Notorious 187' Homicide © vs. 'The War Machine' Rhino
-Homicide. Homicide's on a roll, and I think it's gonna bring him over Rhino. I'm pulling for him to continue in a bloody war here.
Lumberjack Match for the NWA World Tag Team Championships
America's Most Wanted © vs. 'Sugar' Shane Helms & 'Prince of Punk' Shannon Moore
-'Sugar' Shane Helms and Shannon Moore. It's only right, in my opinion, that Moore and Helms take this match and beat one of the best tag teams of the 2000s. This is the PPV where RoH starts to fall (doing it all on one PPV is a serious waste), so I think AMW need to be the first major loss for RoH.
Super X Cup Final
'Personal Jesus' Austin Aries vs. 'The Strong Style Thug' Low-Ki
-Austin Aries. This is a personal preference, but I think Aries has a bit more worth in the long term than Low-Ki. Him going after the X-Division Championship would be a fantastic feud...but I've got a sinking feeling Low-Ki's gonna get this deuce. Still...got my hopes.
Grudge Match
'Straight Edge' CM Punk vs. 'Classic' Colt Cabana
-CM Punk. While the storybook ending is that Colt Cabana teaches Punk some respect and they come to some sort of understanding, it just feels more like you've got bigger things in mind for the Punker. CM Punk beats Colt and moves on to bigger things.
Pre-show Handicap Match
Necro Butcher vs. Team Canada ('Canadian Enforcer' Bobby Roode & 'Showtime' Eric Young)
-Necro Butcher. I know to never count out a guy as nuts as the Butcher against two guys who, honestly, just ain't gonna know what to do against him. I suspect his streak will continue until he's either Hardcore Champion or he loses to the Hardcore Champion.

WLW Heavyweight Title Match
Ace Steel© vs. Naomichi Marufuji
-Ace Steel all the way! Steel oughtta hold the title for a very long time, see if he can be the Franchise for the promotion as you carry it up the ladder.
WLW Ladies Title Match
Lacey© vs. Heather Savage
-Everybody loves Lacey, right? Me, too. I'm voting for her to take this.
“Wildman” Wade Chism vs. Superstar Steve
-Wade Chism. Don't ask me why.
“Revenge Match”
Josie vs. Miss Natural
-I'm a bit of a Miss Natural mark, since she does so well for me in EWR. I'm gonna give it to her.
WLW Tag Team Titles Match
Angelo and Ty Dalton© vs. Josh Besore and Marc Godecker
-I think...the champs will retain. I dunno...when you're a small fed like WLW, you oughtta have long reigns.
I'm interested in this, having just started a WLW game myself. Best of luck and I'll be watching.
Mason Hunter vs. Daniel Flynn
-No clue whatsoever. Going with Daniel Flynn.
-
Thank thank God this is just opinion and personal taste and not a definitive list then, huh?

Im sure a former WWF Champion would love to Roleplay in your E-Fed ... Keep trying .
-
Well...no.
I did once attempt an e-mail to the Warrior in the hopes he'd want to RP one day (and who wouldn't love a Warrior RP)...but alas, when it comes to pro wrestlers...I can only land The Intruder (he's in the EWR game, at least) and Cade Sydal (everybody's Teen Idol).
-
Damn do I want that new album. If this is better than my favorite band's recent release and my favorite band is Tool...that's a paradox of shit I can't even begin to comprehend.
Thank God my favorite band is Sevendust and their last CD was shit.
-
lol
You rarely see e-fed talk on here...at least I don't. I help run one, too. It even has a guy there that EWB might have heard of once or twice. Good luck with the recruiting.
-
Ha...
Proof was fantastic as the lyrical stand out of D12. He was the only guy from the group that I actually enjoyed. Damn this is horrible. It's always horrible when this shit happens to anybody and their family, obviously, but I hope things will turn out alright for them. RIP Proof.

Simply put: I love this.

To be fair, you can't mention bad Marvel adaptations and not ignore the Generation X gem with Finola Hughes as Emma Frost against Max Headroom.
I love The Silver Surfer as both Herald of Galactus, defender of the universe, and any sort of big cosmic epic that he always finds himself in. I never seem to hate how he's written, either. From the Ron Lim run to the robotic Moebius stuff, Surfer is fucking awesome.
