Anybody here (preferably from the US) have problems with Disc Read Errors on this game? Bought it yesterday, took it home and went to play it, got a disc read error and it wouldn't work brand new out of the box. Exchanged it for another copy today, brought it home and had the same problem. It's not my 360 either as all my other games are working, and the disc doesn't looked scratched to me. Target are shit.

To be fair, Detroit is so terrible that even without the Williamses there they'd likely lose anyway. I mean, it's not like they can run the ball well in the first place....or pass well without Kitna....or play defense well at all........yeah. Detroit for 0-16.

It also got me wondering, has there ever been/is it possible for there to be a 1-0 game? Like, I know if you return a two-point conversion on defense to the endzone it gets you 2 points. So does an extra point get you 1 point? The whole 2 pt conversion thing is just in college football, not the NFL. If the defense gets the ball on a 2 pt attempt it's just a dead ball. And as far as I know, the lowest possible NFL score outside of a 0-0 tie is 2-0, and I'm pretty sure that's never happened. EDIT: Just checked, 2-0 has happened twice, but the last time it happened was in 1938.

pretty sure that the clock only completely stops on out-of-bounds plays within two minutes of the half/before the end of the game. Otherwise I think the clock stops and then restarts once they set the ball. Not entirely certain on that though

Oh, man, you wanna hear over-the-top editing, listen to the Atreyu song that was in one of the Maddens. My god, like half of it was just silence, and the rest was (terribly) editted. I always kind of assumed that the reason the NCAA games didn't have player names was because they would have to pay every player for their likeness as there is no player's association like in the NFL. Totally an assumption though. But I doubt they can "officially" give out the "named" rosters. More likely they created them and then leaked them. The NCAA bans college football players from receiving any official endorsements or sponsorships or anything like that, and since video games fall under that, no active players ever appear on the cover and they don't have names in the game.
