I'm all about this season of the Surreal Life.

If I was taking this as a literal history lesson about ECW, I would think it was terrible, but since it is your fantasy interpretation (i.e. some of the wrestlers haven't even started to be known or even started in the business by 94 and some of the Japanese promotions didn't come into existence until years later), I'd like to see where you go with it.

If you don't mind me adding some constructive criticism to this, I would say to expand on your characters. In most backyard diaries, the quality of wrestling is poor and with your straight to the point match descriptions, the audience needs something to make them care about the wrestlers. I realize you can't do angles yet, but run interviews in the game and expand on those interviews within the diary setting. Be creative.

I definitely like the idea and don't mind that you told us how you are going to do it. The funny thing is a normal USA Pro show would have like 20 matches and run 6 hours.

Maybe Spike and Orlando could team regularly? I dunno what to call them but just looking for anything to beef up your tag team division's depth a bit.

I read that the league will play 4-on-4 hockey instead of the traditional 5-on-5...does that reek of them doing something different for the sake of different or do you think it'll make for something really interesting?

The WBO is considered a recognized body? Are their belts also recognized as legit world titles as well, because I've never seen them listed as such anywhere.

You probably don't want Nelly back either. They'll do what they're doing to Usher now, and it might be worse. Confessions 2 and Burn are fucking horrible too.

Yeah, you are probably right. I just want any sort of reprieve from this Usher blitzkrieg.

1. No, it certainly does not bother me. In fact, I enjoy it. Some of the best diaries have been story-first, wrestling-second (i.e. Dukes)

2. You could stick with the same format once you get to present day, but that's a looooooong way off, isn't it?

I actually liked the ESPN Baseball game for this year, but I've always hated the 2K Football series. I just can't stand Sega's football engine.

I dunno if you remember that "Short, Short Man" song from a few years back, but it was by some chick named Gilette (I think). My friend actually bought the CD when it came out. Awful.

Nope. I actually have all the original games in working condition, due to my pack rat-like tendencies.

I still have SMB for Nintendo, but I think it'd just be cool to have that or Zelda or Excitebike for trips.

Daron, I wouldn't. You should get bigger, more indepth games that the GBA has. Like, say....Mega Man Battle Network 4 on June 30th. 

I was looking at some other games, like Mario vs. Donkey Kong (which is pretty sweet) to pick up once I get paid. Is this Mega Man like a traditional MM game?

I am thinking of grabbing Zelda and Mario tonight from Circuit City (they have them for 15 dollars), do you think you'll get any of the old NES titles for GBA and what do you think of the NES-like Game Boy Advance they just released?

Personally I'd consider Speakerboxxx/The Love Below to be two separate albums, albeit released together.

Also, I don't mind if Nelly comes back on the radio. If I hear Confessions Part 2 or Burn by Usher again, I'll pull my hair out.

They should stick to smaller markets with teams...places that don't get NHL hockey, IMHO. Especially if the NHL returns, that way they won't have to compete with NHL teams for fans.

I like the diary a lot so far but man, is Piper ever the odd man out in that tag match.

Nice diary. If anything, I would say strengthen your tag team division with some new teams. I'm glad you got the CW belt off of Classic. Despite how much I enjoy him in real life, he shouldn't be CW champ. Good luck.
