  1. WWF World Championship/WWF Intercontinental Championship

    Lumberjack Match

'Stone Cold' Steve Austin vs. The Rock

Austin is the man here. Rock will get a better shot later, but just not yet.

    The Undertaker vs. Vader

This was the toughest match to predict. Does the storyline continue by Taker's win, or does Vader get a major push? I went with Taker, because Vader can get a win back later to keep his push going.

    WWF Tag Team Championship

Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie vs. L.O.D. 2000

Hewey's right but I think it should be Terry doing the turning on Cactus.

    Ken Shamrock vs. Jeff Jarrett

    Aztec Warrior for the win.

    WWF European Championship

    Triple H vs. Goldust

I can see this boiling over into a six-man at OTE, so probably a win after Owen comes in and beats the piss out of Hunter.

Owen Hart and Lance Storm vs. The New Age Outlaws

Interference from DX to continue Owen vs Everyone.

    WWF Light Heavyweight Title

    TAKA Michinoku vs. Super Crazy

Like Hewey said, Cage will probably interfere to get revenge.

  2. Main Event - I Quit Match - NWA Heavyweight Championship

    Scott Hall

O'Haire won't be getting the company built around him just yet.

    Scott Steiner

Strong heel to go for the World title.

    America's Most Wanted

Already got the belts, why take them off?

    Sean O'Haire

Yeah, he'll be getting the monster push.

    CW Anderson

    ©\/\/ rules.

    D-Lo Brown

No real reason, just think D'Lo should win.

    Scott Hall

I don't think Flair would trust Jarrett yet.

    Chris Kanyon

Well, it's Maven. Flair would job him out to send a message to WWE.

The lack of Christian is kinda weird, but if it all works out, then it all will be alright.

  3. Really a kinda small card, considering. I would have expected a TV Tag match. Regardless, this has all been great stuff. One thing I am just LOVING, by the way, is the team of Lane and Roma. It's a team that would have worked solidly with their similar build and styles in real life, but one that not many would have thought of due to Lane being so associated with Eaton and the MX. Anyways, predictions.

WWF Championship/I Quit Match: Ted DiBiase [champion] vs. Randy Savage

There wouldn't be anything wrong with Dibiase retaining, but there really aren't any solid faces in the Rumble for him to face at Mania. I mean, someone could be turned, but Dibiase is an awesome heel here, and the feller I got pegged for the Rumble is better as a heel too. So a title change here.

WWF Intercontinental Title/2 Out Of 3 Falls Match: Ricky Steamboat [champion] vs. Rick Rude

WWF Tag Team Title Match/Paul Ellering & Ax Handcuffed At Ringside: Powers Of Pain [champions] vs. Demolition

The POP should lose them back to the Harts at Mania. Plus, face Demolition here seems really strange. I just can't see Smash and Crush as good guys. They had awesome buildup for awhile until the Powers kinda shot right into there, and that was somewhat saddening I thought because the Demos were getting a really good push toward the titles. But alas, it wasn't to be. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the Powers with the titles; they've had a good build and would have made good champs IRL if Ellering managed them because they were a team that pretty much personified the early 90s scene. But they're no Hart Foundation, who will be getting the titles back eventually.

Stretcher Match: Hulk Hogan vs. Jerry Lawler

Heel cheats to win here so we can get the blowoff at Mania.

    30-Man Royal Rumble: Mr. Perfect

This should be Perfect's year. Going into Mania to go against Savage can only deliver a solid bout, so it would be great to see it happen.

  4. Now THAT was Flair. I can't really add any more to that.

    • WWF Championship Match (Special Guest Referee: Ric Flair): Jeff Jarrett© vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley

Let's face it, Jarrett is holding that belt for safekeeping until HBK gets back.

    • WWF Intercontinental Championship Match: "Magnificent" Marc Mero© vs. Rocky Maivia vs. Ken Shamrock vs. Farooq

Mero with the belt is alright, as would be Robo-Shamrock, but to have them two feud one another wouldn't need the title. Rocky would be good, but Rock is above the IC belt now. That leaves Faarooq.

    • Kiss My Ass Match (Austin's hands are to be cuffed behind his back): "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon

Vince is gonna welch on the bet though.

    • WWF LightHeavyweight Championship Match (Suicide Rules): Taka Michinoku© vs. The Suicidal Kidd

SK has been a jobber up until this point, while Taka has momentum coming out the ass. Let Taka retain and SK can rack up some more wins.

    Kane vs. Kurrgan

Bearer being there neutralizes Corny outside the ring, so it'll be a straight match. Only one unstoppable monster can win, so the unstoppable-est one should take it.

    • WWF Tag Team Championship Match: The Quebecers© vs. The New Age Outlaws

The Outlaws are way over, but that's a bad thing for tag champs because then they become untouchable. Let the Quebecers keep them for awhile.

    • WWF Prime Time Championship Match: Charlie Scaggs© vs. Associate Barry

I just watched this match not long ago on a COTC. Scorp gets this one though, but really, can we get back to Scorpio?

  5. The Main Event

    WWF Title Match

    Yokozuna© vs Lex Luger

Squash Luger like a bug and get Hart back into the mix.

    King vs King

Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs Jerry "The King" Lawler

Hoping that you fix what happened in real life...

    WWF Intercontinental Title Match

    Shawn Michaels© vs Mr. Perfect

Michaels is tomorrow's news, so push him well. Even if it is over Curt Hennig.

    WWF Tag Team Title Match

The Steiner Brothers© vs The Heavenly Bodies

The Bodies getting it would only be great if it were the Lane/Pritchard variety. Well, Pritchard/Ray would be cool too, but not over the Steiners.

    Rest In Peace Match

    The Undertaker vs Giant Gonzalez

    Kill Gonzalez before it spreads.

WWF Intercontinental Title Number One Contender Tournament Semi-Final

"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase vs Razor Ramon

Dibiase would rule, but Ramon is getting the win here.

WWF Intercontinental Title Number One Contender Tournament Semi-Final

The 1-2-3 Kid vs Rick "The Model" Martel

    Martel is just better....looking.

    8-Man Tag Match

"Macho Man" Randy Savage, Tatanka, & High Energy vs IRS, Bam Bam Bigelow & The Headshrinkers

    High Energy for the win!

    Singles Match

    Marty Jannety vs Ludvig Borga

Jannetty is a jobber here. That's all that needs to be said.

    Singles Match

    Jeff Jarrett vs Tito Santana

Tito would be better, but Double J is not losing here.

    Singles Match

    Bob Backlund vs Diesel

Would rather see Bob pull it out, but Diesel is the future.

    Tag Team Match

The Quebecers vs The Smoking Gunns

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think there are better things that can be done with the Quebecers than the Gunns.

  6. I'm thinking that the attack on Funk will also result in help for Corino to defeat Sting and someone taking out Terry Funk, and it will be revealed as Shane Douglas. That way he could get all the power to himself.

And I'm eager to see what happens with the Horsemen. Going ahead and turning CW didn't seem like the best way to go about it, because aside from Corino, he was the only one in on it from the start and could have played the Arn role to Corino's Flair before turning on Corino himself. But he just turned on Jarrett, so it isn't nearly as good.

  7. A Corino interview getting only a 77%? Musta been Honky. He's trying to hold The Man down!

The La Parka thing was hilarious, and I guess I was proven wrong with Kendrick. Oooo, that's gonna piss Kenny off something fierce.

I get the feeling that more is going on with Jarrett than meets the eyes, but for now I'll just love that Corino will be getting more air-time in his absence. Yay!

  8. Someone needs to totally get into Killings's gear and put a Buckwheat wig in amongst his stuff. It is the Halloween show, after all....

Hopefully Sting won't get mad when Corino beats him to keep the title. I'm serious, you write Corino so damn well that he should be a career-long champion here. I doubt Sting has creative control though, so everything should work out niiiiice.

I don't see Kendrick beating Shamrock, but unless Kenny is a tweener I don't see the match with Corino working out well at all. He's been pretty solid in the heel role, and a heel vs heel wouldn't do very well. Unless, of course, someone comes along and inserts their nose into the match, like Lynn. That would work alright.

And finally, is it just me or does Shane Douglas saying "no more cliques" seem just so insanely appropriate?

  9. I knew you'd know the right thing to do! :D

    Now, some other comments.

The Rey/Red match was severely disappointing. Would have liked to see an actual match out of it.

Buckwheat? Perhaps my hopes in a Krush push were misplaced. I would rather see him get a push than Kendrick, but unless we're going for Killings vs Adminstration, then he's pretty screwed.

Liger vs Daniels was crazy. Figures, the only time I don't expect Liger to lose, he loses.

I'm kinda surprised that Sting won. Guess we'll see some more of Jarrett trying to sneak deals around to people to get back in contention, unless you're bringing in a new title.

Overall, bang-up job, C. Especially with Corino. While I have no idea what "OJ of the Dome" means, it looks like you dodged that bullet with ease.

  10. The NWA 54th Anniversary

    NWA World Title Match

    Guest Referee: Kevin Sullivan

    Submissions Will NOT Count

Steve Corino (77, heel, old school heel, with Tully Blanchard)

    vs.

Dan "The Beast" Severn (64, face, legitimate athlete)

As I said.....you know the right thing to do.

    #1 Contender's Match

    Sting's first NWATNA match!

    Sting (93, face, unique)

    vs.

"The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett (78, heel, chosen one)

I have a feeling that we're going to be building to Jarrett/Corino some more.

    Falls-Count-Anywhere Match

Ken Shamrock (79, heel, legitimate athlete)

    vs.

Jerry Lynn (77, face, no gimmick needed)

Really, what with the two heels going over in the other two "main event" matches, one face needs to win. Lynn shall be that face.

    NWA X-Division Title Match

Jushin "Thunder" Liger (84, face, foreign star)

    vs.

"The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels (81, tweener, legitimate athlete)

Wow, Daniels gained some insane overness. It just won't be his night though.

    Mystery Stipulation Match

    Best-Of-Five Series Final

Brian Kendrick (78, face, fun babyface)

    vs.

    K-Krush (73, heel, rapper)

I like to think that after this feud is over, Krush will be getting a solid push.

    Grudge Match

Rey Misterio Jr. (81, face, show stealer)

    vs.

The Amazing Red (80, heel, highlight reel)

After Red "put him out" for all that time, Rey needs to get the win here.

Plus the NEW NWA Championship Committee member will be named and much more!

Select a winner for each of the six matches.

Tie-Breaker Question: Which match will deliver the LOWEST overall rating and what is the rating? Closest answer wins. Sting vs Jarrett; 70%.

    The High Or Low Contest

#1. The number of matches at The NWA 54th Anniversary that did NOT end via pinfall was NOT 1. Was it higher or lower? Lower

#2. The image for the NWA X-Division Title before the show was 77. After the show, it was NOT 79. Was it higher or lower? Higher

#3. The match quality rating for Misterio vs. Red was NOT 95% Was it higher or lower? Higher (I feel like I'm playing the Price is Right)

#4. The feud heat between Ken Shamrock & Jerry Lynn before the show was 82. After the show, it was NOT 84. Was it higher or lower? Lower (seeing as how the feud is ending....or at least should be ending)

#5. Brian Kendrick's overness before the show was 78. After the show, it was NOT 82. Was it higher or lower? Lower (same reason as above)

#6. The charisma rating for the new member of the committee is NOT 90. Is it higher or lower? Higher

#7. The crowd reaction for Sting vs. Jarrett was NOT 80% Was it higher or lower? Higher

#8. The time for Severn vs. Corino was NOT 20:00. Was it higher or lower? Lower

#9. The overall rating for Severn vs. Corino was NOT 70%. Was it higher or lower? Lower

#10. The overall rating for The NWA 54th Anniversary was NOT 75%. Was it higher or lower? Higher

Tie-Breaker Question: What is the combined total of all ten correct numbers? Closest answer wins. The time for #8 will be rounded up to the next minute. 323

  11. I was just about to post exactly that: just because Severn can't get a tap out doesn't mean he can't choke Corino out until he's able to pin him.

I have faith in C-Mil that he'll know what to do :) And plus, I still think we'll see the final Horseman during the match.

  12. Corino has to get the title. Corino MUST get the title. I have but one prediction: I think we may finally see our fourth Horseman at the Anniversary Show. I mean, Swinger was almost there, but he wasn't accepted. Simon was there, but he got scooped away. There has to be a fourth man, and while I really can't offer any kind of thought as to who it may be, I think he'll be in attendance for the crowning of Corino as the champion.

  13. I wasn't sure about Liger because eventually he may have to head back to Japan. The Corino thing wasn't a particular favorite of mine (like that's a big surprise), but there really wasn't any way around it, so I guess it makes sense. And besides, now Corino has to get his win back from Severn! Right?! Right?

  14. Damn! Oh well, I'm getting closer to the top!

    Block A action:

    -Samoa Joe vs. Colt Cabana

    -Chris Hero vs. Delirious

    -Petey Williams vs. Puma

    -Sonjay Dutt vs. Tony Mamaluke

    Block B action:

    -Sexxxy Eddy vs. Danny Daniels

    -Bryan Danielson vs. Frankie Kazarian

-Doug Williams vs. AJ Styles - MOTN

    -Jack Evans vs. Roderick Strong

  15. Very interesting end for the battel royal. It looks like Liger's gonna be screwed, but here's hoping he makes it out with the belt, because he's a good X champion. Unless he has to go back to Japan for a while, in which case it probly would be best to take the belt off him.

  16. The Quebecers vs. The BushWhackers

Personally I think I would have just gone with the Rougeaus and left Oulette out altogether, but whatever. The Whackers shouldn't even be here.

WWF LightHeavyweight Championship: Brian Christopher vs. Taka Michinoku

By DQ somehow. Then we'll have the blowoff at WM.

    Battle Royal: The Kurrgan Open

    Duh. Kurrgan.

WWF Intercontinental Championship: Rocky Maivia vs. Ken Shamrock

Rock will bring the Nation back together for as long as it counts, and then by WM we'll see a face turn from either him or Faarooq.

Elimination Match: Jeff Jarrett, Kane, Legion of Doom vs. Shawn Michaels, HHH, New Age Outlaws

I'm going against the grain here and predicting that DX win. I think it'll come down to INSANE cheating for the wins, I mean old school Memphis level cheating, some major four-on-two stuff after the LOD are eliminated, but it will be done.

  17. Dammit! Corino was so close! A pretty insane match rating for Corino/Jarrett though, a rematch after one of them turns face (and after Corino wins the belt) would rule. Though as far as face turns on these two go, it'd better be Jarrett *shakes fist*

Daniels on Honky Talk was pretty interesting, if for no other reason than because it provided a chance for him to give himself a bit more personality. I see him beating Liger by cheating and turning heel. I'm still quite amazed at how you took an over-the-hill ex-wrestler like Honky and made him fairly interesting.

  18. WCW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Semifinal Match

    Bill Goldberg versus Scott Steiner

Conventional logic says that we need a face and a heel. Well if Goldberg is there, then we have found our face. Therefore....

WCW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Semifinal Match

    Booker T versus Lance Storm

....here is our heel. Unfortunately, I imagine that Goldberg will get the belt, no matter how great Storm is.

    Sting versus Jeff Jarrett

Oh come now, it's Sting and Jeff Jarrett. This is either going to be an overbooked piece of crap that sees Jarrett winning, or a straight match that Sting takes. I say straight match.

WCW World Tag Team Championship Match

Mark Jindrak and Sean O’Haire © versus Kronik

The faces can't keep winning all these matches. So the Thrillers keep the belts due to some major interference. Kronik can get the belts at Starrcade.

Best of Five Series: Match Five

Rey Mysterio, Jr. versus Juventud Guerrera

    Juvi's gonna cheat to win.

    WCW Cruiserweight Championship Match

Elix Skipper © versus Lieutenant Loco

Just so that Madden (can't you replace him yet?) can say that it'll be a Team Canada night.

    Hardcore Match

Big Vito versus Johnny the Bull

Afterward the NBT will boot JTB, and we'll have a Paison reunion.

Three Count versus The Jung Dragons

    I really don't have a reason here.
