  1. I went searching the aircraft carrier as well. I found 2 launch bays, one was pretty big, and connected to the entrances on the sides of the carrier. the other was small, and poorly lit I didn't see any sub or any switch. It was kinda fun going through there though, so, I'll probably look again later. And while the water is shallow, I don't think I'd count it as proof against the minisub. It could start halfway, or almost completely above the water, then once you get out of the carrier and into the ocean, you can probably hit O or R3 or something to submerge Though I don't really see why there'd be a minisub in this game. there's nothing really under the water.
  2. Did you go swimming in the lake? if so, when the camera was underwater, did you see jellyfish that were visible underwater, but invisible above water?
  3. I've heard from 3 seperate messageboards, that if you bring gang members to the panopticon, and hang out for a while, they'll be attacked by a mysterious attacker in the surrounding fields. the one account I remember specifically was, the guy heard one of his gang members start shooting, he ran to him, and the lackey was having a firefight with something in the field. he tried targeting whatever it was, the reticle was red, and dissapeared almost immediately after the gang member died. No other body was found in the region. shortly after that, he claimed he got a "Gang Strength" decreasing message, and never found the second member. the last lackey died similarly to the first. I've been meaning to investigate this myself, but, I can't find any gang memebers to recruit where I am in the game.
  4. question: After you get out of Los Santos, a) can you still recruit gang members? and 2) if so, where do grove gang members hang out after the last Los Santos missions?
  5. Pic: Name: Crotch Rocket Specialty: mad motorcycle skills/Paranormal Investigation where i am: just got out of LS, doing missions for Catalina.
  6. Wheat fields, on the second island, are in the south east, fairly clos to the Los Santos island.
  7. Could someone send me a link to that bigfoot photo? Also, plane crashes are real, as I've seen a plane crash- a cropduster just north of Los Santos.
  8. Much to my surprise, Bounce FM is the station I listen to most. Funk>*.
  9. The food mart is right next to the city hall, 1 block to the left on the map, i believe. As a financially struggling gangsta, I can can testify that these missions are the best ways to make money for where I am in the game.
  10. Me and a homie of mine spent about 3 hours yesterday playing the 2-player free-roam mode. We'd spawn us up a rhino, one of us would get in it, drive around and blow shit up the other would stand on top, throwning molotov cocktails around and shooting shit with the AK. Once the police were after us, and we crashed into the water north of Los Santos, and decided to swim to freedom/Las Venturas. We actually made it too, despite the police helicopters firing at us. Then we rampaged around the desert highway, police all around us.. it was just like a really good episode of Cops.
  11. I learned a valuable lesson: The 'positive' response button isn't the button least likely to get you shot at. I was walking around, and on of the ballas asked me "Where you from, fool?" and I hit the 'positive' response button, thinking I'd say something that wouldn't get me shot at... I thought wrong. I said "I'm from the grove, nigga!" and the 5 or 6 surrounding ballas started shooting me. Then I ducked into a 24-7, and found out this game has functioning vending machines.
  12. There hasn't been a decent show on MTV since they cancelled Sifl and Olly
  13. Three Words: Evil Dead Trilogy
  14. Devils Due? Wait a minute.... Issue 2-6 have Image on the cover, 7 doesn't have anything, and 8 say Udon Comics. What's going on with the switch in publishers?
  15. I had no idea there were so many comic book nerds around here. For the first time I regret almost never venturing into here. Does anyone know the status of the Street Fighter comic by... Image? Maybe it's that new company that does all the Transformers books. Anyway, I was really enjoying it, but it seems like it's been an unusually long time since a new issue was released.
  16. If you're gonna get an old wrestling game, get WCW vs. NWO World Tour, or WCW/NWO Revenge, or WWF Wrestlemania 2000, or WWF No Mercy, or, y'know, a game who's creation hasn't been labeled a crime against humanity.
  17. So, how is it that Nelly is called the first rap act to release two CDs on the same day, when the Insane Clown Posse, who are rap artists, released 2 CDs on the same day 4 years ago?
  18. 2 Suggestions: Evil Dead 2 and Dead Hate the Living.
  19. Two Words: Ninja Scroll.(The movie, I don't know anything about the TV show) If you end up liking Excel Saga, you should check out Puni Puni Poemi. It shares most of the same creative and voice staff of excel saga, only it's more insane, and over the top. The Project A-KO series was very entertaining. Street Fighter V was a great series as well. Edit: Mezzo Forte was an awesome movie as well. Either the hentai version, or the non-hentia version, it's still a good movie.
  20. Hom Sha Bom by Twiztid. The lyrics perfectly embody those old supernatural horror movies like the exorcist, or amityville. All I Want by The Offspring
  21. The Star Wars Heir To The Empire trilogy would be way better than Episodes 1 & 2. Whitley Strieber's Communion and.. whatever it's sequel was called, would be cool if they did it right.
  22. I saw another version of this a few years ago, where it actually guessed which card you picked, and guessed right every time.
  23. About goddamn time! I remember realistic Zelda images like that back when they were hyping up the gamecube's release, only to flip modes and unveil wind waker.
