  1. Agreed. I was hoping This Week in God would go with him to his show. And did that 'radio host' on last nights episode sound and look suspiciously like David Cross to anyone else?
  2. I think they've started development on them, but lionhead is a small company, and they've put about 90% of their effort on the PC version. It'll probably be about 6 months, if not more, until the console versions.
  3. The non-PC versions haven't been made yet.
  4. You really are a wrestling fan, aren't you?
  5. Personally, I think Brock Lensnar would've made a great Venom. He looks just like Eddie Brock from the comics. And I've said this on another board in response to this news, and I'll say it here: ECW's Sandman would make a much more entertaining villain in this movie than the comic book Sandman.
  6. I also have been following the game for god knows how long, I'm actually planning on doing a diary for it, assuming I can find good hosting. Everyone's concerns stated so far are valid, however I've been following this game very closely(visiting their message board every day, downloading every video I can) and I have to say I'm very optimistic about it. Like other's have said the only way this game can really succeed is if they release full mod-tools, and good community develops. There are alread 2-3 groups I know of who are already working on mods from the recently released Star Maker program, so the community issue seems to be in good hands. However the problem is mod tools. Lionhead wants to realeas mod-tools for everything, props, scenes, sets, costumes, everything, but Activision, the publisher, is still undecided about the issue, fearing that someone somewhere will make something naughty with the mod tools, some uptight parent will see it and tell their congressman and Activision will be at the center of another "Hot Coffee" fiasco.
  7. A 37 song set?! Wow, that show must've been all of 20 minutes! Seriously, the last time I heard of 'The Misfits' touring, it was Jerry Only, and the drummer and guitarist from The Ramones, this time it's Jerry Only and the drummer and guitarist from Black Flag(I think), I bet next tour it'll be Jerry Only and the remnants of the Dead Kennedys.
  8. I had no idea the Godzilla series was so confusing. also, Gammerra>Godzilla.
  9. This is just blowful. Mind of Mencia, while funny, isn't even close to a replacement for Chappele's Show.
  10. Aerith's death never really made me sad, I was, however, shocked that they actually killed off a central character so early in a game. The ending to MGS3 almost got to me. 1 Tear, that's all. I remember crying at some point in Xenogears, but I can't recall what part now.
  11. That looks very fake, what with the airbrushing for shadows and photoshop filter over the whole thing.
  12. This is awesome. Futurama is probably one of my overall-favorite TV shows. As brilliant as the Simpsons, only it never went downhill.
  13. Best. RPG. Ever. it's a shame no other games have picked up on the brilliant double/triple-tech attack mechanic from that game.
  14. Didn't Jaime Madrox die, like, twice in the past 10 years? First from the Legacy Virus, then after being brought back somehow, died again? edit: I think Forge just showed up recently in some book or another... I think it was one of the main X-Books, it might've been Cable and Deadpool, I'm not sure. I remember reading something recently with him in it.
  15. I thought Mutant X was the sequel to the Cable series. And Havoc wasn't killed, just put into a coma, he's still around and leading one of the main X-Men teams now.
  16. The 7 Leaf Clover episode of Futurama got me too, I haven't seen the dog one yet. I cried during the last episode of the Maxx, oddly enough I don't know exactly why. I'm gonna go ahead and say I cried during the last episode of Wonder Years, I just don't remember it. The last episode of Cowboy Bebop almost made me cry. It got 1 tear.
  17. I picked up the retail version today. The main complaint I have is that you can't play a single player game with more than 16 bots, which means you can only play the small versions of all the maps in single player, which means you can't learn to fly the jets and helicopters without being in a multiplayer game. I feel bad sitting around the airfield wating for aircraft to spawn so I can practice. All the maps I've played so far have been great, especially the... Something Peninsula, with 5-8 strategic points placed very very close together in a dense urban area. Squads cutting through alleys, tanks and APC's stomping through streest just barely big enough for them, snipers in buildings, explosions and gunfire everywhere, constant thick and chunky fighting. The map with the pagodas is pretty sweet too.
  18. Which X-Men are you talking about? there are about 1000 X-Men titles around right now ←
  19. This game isn't coming out until October, but I'm already excited about it. It's from Peter Molyneux, the same developer as Populous and Black and White and Fable. Basically, you'll be able to manage a movie studio from the 1920's until (I think) 2010. It's gonna have all the typical sim stuff, like building sets and studio facilites, hiring, managing, and firing staff and actors, but the biggest draw is that you'll actually be able to make movies the game. Between the few examples and screenshots I've seen, and the numbers they're claiming for the amount of stuff in the game, I'm really hopeful about the things you'll be able to do in this game. Probably too hopeful. Over the past couple days I've been heavily looking into this game, I can't help but think and plan of the movies I'll hopefully be able to make. Um... anyway, yeah, Anyone else looking foreward to this? IGN Preview Page Official site
  20. I'm surprised I haven't seen a thread on it, but the demo for Battlefield 2, the sequel to Battlefield 1942 was released today. Videos and stuff are available here The demo itself is available here, or at your favorite bittorrent site. Battlefield 1942 was my favorite FPS for PC, so I'm really looking foreward to this.
