  1. DBD!

    Kaney loves this guy.

  2. I wrote a little two minute piece of music on FL Studio last year that he used or now uses when he wrestles. If I can find it soon I'll post it, but is there anyone else out there that uses it? If you've got audio samples you should share them. Now that I have some free time again an EWB collaboration or something would be fun. Oh yeah, DoubleX if you're even still around, I can write you a new track because I think the other one is shit now.
  3. I just made this...I was bored, thought it turned out alright, heh. Would love to see it, although then I'd have to DVR TDS/Colbert Report. These 7 months can't go by quick enough!
  4. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704675104575001432860639468.html?mod=WSJ_hpp_LEFTWhatsNewsCollection This news about viewership for the Tonight Show increasing makes me happy, of course I've been one of them. With sites like Hulu and websites of different shows putting up full episodes, I barely have time for "TV" in the traditional sense these days. However the last few episodes of the Tonight Show I've made sure to watch and DVR them. I wasn't expecting him to go anywhere so didn't feel the need to tune in every night, usually watching an episode or two on Hulu the next day. However this week's episodes have been interesting and genuinely really, really funny.
  5. I agree, Conan may not be doing so hot right now but I expected it to be the same as the old Late Night show, if given the proper chance I'm sure he can win over more hearts and minds. I grew up watching Late Night and Conan is the only talk show host I can really get behind. I'm sorry but Leno just doesn't do it for me, I don't think he's funny and to me just comes off really lame. I'm not so sure he'll lose the Tonight Show, but after reading that article it looks like he should have just stayed in New York. He doesn't look at home in L.A. anyway.
  6. Indeed, I've had it and Teenage Snuff Film basically on repeat for the past few days, with Prayers On Fire and Shotgun Wedding neatly squeezed in between. It's unfortunate most people will never be exposed to his music.
  7. A little late but it's been awhile since I've signed in. Did you by chance hear the new "Pop Crimes" album Skum? I haven't been able to find a hard copy here in the States thus far, a friend of mine in Melbourne ripped me a copy and I do feel quite guilty not having purchased it. I had heard about his illness for some time but wasn't expecting his passing. I don't think there's been a record that Rowland has been on that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. He was a great musician and you can't mistake his sound. RIP RSH.
  8. Trailer for Moon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIexG8179K8 Trailer for Inglorious Basterds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sQhTVz5IjQ For those who don't know Inglorious Basterds is Tarantino's new movie, I only saw the trailer for this last night, looks fucking sick, definitely the three movies I want to see above anything else at this point. Oh damn!
  9. Here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWof6CovHxI Being a fan of history and the Depression era being one of my favorite periods of American History, also being a Dillinger fan? Fuck yeah, is about all I can say. I don't think I've wanted to see a movie this much since I was a kid. Also to avoid making two seperate threads, anyone seen the trailer for Moon with Sam Rockwell? Looks great as well.
  10. the greatest punk band ever www.offender.tk >_> www.myspace.com/simenoffender (listen to Less Mess)
  11. Oh man, I saw Nick Cave in Chicago on the 28th. It was pretty fucking badass, he kicked me in the face, haha. I was dumb enough to think I could get a room at 8pm on a saturday night, so we ended up sleeping out in front of the theater, and got ripped off by a crackhead. It was worth it though.
  12. Not a fan of Fall Out Boy, but i'll admit I like this cover and they did it well. It's almost relistenable.
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqU9RZqvFKY Jeff Healey and Stevie Ray Vaughan, one of the coolest videos I've ever watched. Jeff Healey was the man, he will be missed.
